Hotel a 2 stelle in Somerset, Regno Unito

The Hotel itself is very dated in decor, but I actually enjoyed this and it felt quite nostalgic to me. If you're looking for cheap and cheerful and you're not overly fussy then this place will do you just fine. After all I wasn't here to spend all day in the room, but to go out and explore. There was coffee and tea, fresh towels, and I was left alone for the 2 nights I stayed which I appreciate. Some people enjoy the maid service, but personally I prefer not being bothered. From all the other reviews it mentioned a fee upon arrival as an insurance for damages, but I got asked for no extra fees, so I'm guessing this is based on the larger more valuable family type rooms maybe. If you are a solo traveler like myself then the location is brilliant, as it's right next to the main beach *****, a cool little local beach front cafe which is reasonably priced, and if you have the legs for it like me, a massive nature trek to explore full of beautiful forestry and greenery. The main shopping town and Italian gardens are only a short 15 minute walk away. If you are on a budget there's a wetherspoons just 5 minutes away which is very decent and has great sea views, staff were all lovely. Staff at the hotel were also very friendly if you approached or talked to them. Only negative I'd say is that you can't book in till 3pm, but there is plenty to keep you busy nearby whilst you wait. If you are fussy and expect the Ritz, this place ain't for you, but if you are there with a fair level head and you just want cheap lodgings, then it'll do you fine for a night or two. I'd definitely stay again for the cheap price of just over 30 quid a night. Thanks and I'll be back down the line 😎

This was an amazing hotel and after the hellish experience I’d had in travelling to Taunton and other things along the way this hotel was bliss. Nicky on the desk was a lovely person and made you feel like you were lifelong friends. My room was 29 and it had everything I needed. It was clean and bright and the bed was so cosy. There was even a fridge in it! There are kitchen areas on every floor with cookers, fridges and microwaves. I loved my stay and if I ever return to Taunton I’ll definitely go back there ❤️

La posizione non è molto conveniente e non è sicuro perché, ma gli autobus che si fermano davanti all'ostello non mostrano su carta Google o carta Apple, quindi ho scoperto solo che ci erano autobus diretti dopo l'arrivo dell'ostello. Tuttavia, invece di prendere gli autobus, consiglio molto di andare al centro della città, mentre si cammina attraverso un campo di erba sorprendente. La stanza è molto spaziosa, accogliente e tranquilla. Molto consigliato!

La stazione di autobus è molto conveniente, a pochi minuti dalla stazione di autobus. E la stanza era confortevole e piacevole di rimanere. Mi è piaciuto davvero che la mia stanza aveva un bagno, come ho bisogno di riposare alla fine della giornata.

Non avevo ricevuto il messaggio di testo sul codice della porta - e Trip.com aveva dichiarato di controllare fino alle 8 pm, mentre il segno sulla porta indicava 6 pm. Fortunatamente, la porta è stata risolta - anche se ci è voluto tempo per confermare la mia prenotazione - altrimenti potrei essere stata completamente bloccata. La mia lampada a letto non funzionava, anche se era stata immediatamente sostituita da un gentiluomo di servizio, un letto confortevole, un bagno separato e una doccia separata. Il prezzo era di 46 sterline per una notte: sarebbe stato più felice di pagare circa 35 sterline in considerazione delle strutture offerte.

I like the place itself. The only problem is they do not have a public bathroom and their wifi is only 30 minutes for 1 day.

Meals were not included. Rooms are clean. Nice and quiet place.
