Located in the peace of nature 2017cottage rebuilt from old vertical logs on the shore of the Pieni-Kiimanen lake, close to the village of Sotkamo (6 km) and the of the Vuokatti (13 km). In an atmospheric cottage´s living area 75 m² on two floors. Downstairs, a spacious living room kitchen, dining set for 6-8, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with separate beds for 2. Small washroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. Steep stairs to the upper floor, sofa in the hall for 1-2 guests, double bed in the bedroom. One room upstairs is not available to visiters. Covered spacious porch with furniture. Separate beach sauna approx. 40 m from the cottage. In the sauna, there is a wood stove and the water is heated in a boiler, no shower. A long pier, partly a land pier, because the height of the water level varies. 15 to 70 cm of water at the end of the pier. Hard clay bottom, shallow long beach, own shoreline approx. 70 m. Note during the winter season, you should avoid moving on the ice, because there are many frozen currents in the water. By rowing, you can go to the opposite shed during the thaw to roast sausages, but in winter you must not cross the water. There is also a storage building with wood storage and waste sorting. Parking lot in front of the cottage, with a car heating pole for 2 cars. The cabin is heated by ground heat and in the summer time an air heat pump is used for cooling, the cabin has mechanical ventilation. Smart TV 43" The tap water is filtered from well water, which has manganese levels above the reference values, which may cause a slight odor. However, there is a separate tap in the kitchen where you can get double-filtered, clean water for cooking and drinking. Children's equipment is provided if necessary. Includes travel cot, high chair and potty, baby gates upstairs and downstairs. Sotkamo 6 km, Vuokatti 13 km, Kajaani 45 km, Kuhmo 65 km. Pets are welcome for an additional fee per pet. The slow charging of the electric car can be agreed separately in advance with the owner. The cottage is available from 4 pm on the day of arrival until 12 pm on the day of departure, also for weekend bookings. The price of the accommodation includes final cleaning and linen (sheets and towels) according to the number of persons indicated.

80 km to the west from Kajaani, on island Manamansalo in the lake Oulujärvi. The cabin is located in a holiday village on a nice sandy beach. Very shallow and long sandy beach, ideal for children, sunny location, distance to the beach is 25 m. Boats, canoes and a pedal boat for rent. The nearest neighbors of the cabin Etelätuuli are restaurant building (about 30 m) and camping places for caravans in the other side. Round log cabin, built in 2011. Living room/kitchen with spreadable sofa, bedroom with double bed (width 140 cm), low loft with 3 mattresses, steep stairs lead to the loft, sauna, washroom/WC and partially covered terrace. Breakfast and other meals are served at the resort’s restaurant. The restaurant is open from the beginning of June until the end of August. There are hiking trails with services (lean-to and campfire places) in the beautiful Manamansalo. Manamansalo is a part of the Rokua Geopark region, special geological objects which you can see here are turquoise ponds located in kettle holes, ridges and gneiss rocks. Distance to the Geopark is about 15 km. Distance to the fishing port, from where you can buy fish, is 15 km. Art house of Kassu Halonen 5 km. Fast food restaurant 5 km. Alassalmi ferry 12 km. There is no fuel sale on the island. This destination can be booked from late May to the end of September.
