UUtente ospiteActually Myself and my colleague booked two family cabins for three nights. That is for work and we were the only guests. As per advertised on trip.com we paid for including buffet breakfast. Following day morning when we went for the restaurant we were told they have not been provided our names and we need to pay for breakfast.. So I had to bring my booking print out and show the restaurant staff breakfast was included. Even though they let us eat there they were not convinced and were suspicious I guess.
So that day my colleague went to see the manager of the accommodation and he said to me she was not convinced about breakfast was included. My colleague said it was very unpleasant and embarrassing. She told him I need to come down too. But later when I went to see her she said everything is sorted out and problem was they didn't know anything about Trip.com and trip.com send the booking through ******* and wrongly mentioned each of our booking included three adults and the extra payment is for additional adults as they understood. So the third day morning we didn't have issue at the breakfast as our names passed on. But unfortunately last day morning restaurant staff asked us to pay for breakfast because our name was not on the list. Luckily the chef remembered us and he was very politely let us eat. Even though we paid for breakfast we were at mercy of good people. Whole experience was very inconvenient and embarrassing. I think main bungle was done by Trip.com. But management did not bother to completely sort it out.
This was my first time with Trip.com and Aaok Moondarra Accommodation Village. My colleague said he did not have issues previously with Trip.com but all those occasions were without breakfast. Other than that accommodation was really good. It had got good Wi-Fi, YouTube and Netflix.
My advise is if you book through Trip.com for an accommodation with breakfast make sure with the accommodation that it has been correctly passed on to them.

DDollmeisterOkay here’s my review. The Espy has so much going for it in terms of being central to the entertainment precinct of Cairns Esplanade.
Check in was easy and friendly and the two bunk dorm had its own dedicated ensuite bathroom which was very clean and quite large.
The bedroom was clean and the bunks were enclosed wood and steel construction with zero squeaking. Clean towel and linen provided.
So that’s all the very good stuff.
The not as good things I observed were:
- the lounge/common areas were dimly lit, very tired (bordering on festy) furniture and not somewhere I’d socialise due to limited seating, very few power/USB outlets or clean comfortable seating.
- The pool…. Or should I call it the tropical punch bowl of various biological matter and other detritus… if you’re keen of growing something fungal on your body, go in…. I decided not to.
-Kitchen and meal prep area all seemed clean and safe to get your mung bean and tofu ready for consumption.
- The personal under bunk locker was missing its latch and with two roommates I had to say a little prayer that my gear would be safe inside my enclosed bunk.
Overall this was my maiden voyage as a backpacker and at 57 years of age, I’ve stayed in a lot of Hotels and Motels costing far more for way less cleanliness. I rate this place highly for all the good reasons above.
The not so good stuff is easily fixed by management but for $65 per night in peak season, I don’t think you can get any better value in Central Cairns right near the action. Pubs, cafes, night market and the City Lagoon.
Thanks Espy crew, you made this old dog’s stay a pleasant one and will be back if and when the opportunity presents itself.

È amichevole e sembra una stanza privata. C'è uno spazio confortevole di fronte all'alloggio.
È un po' deludente che non ci sia l'aria condizionata..!

II Love Travel Alone距離Surfers Paradise不遠，步行可到，公車705站牌就在門口不遠處，輕軌站Cavill Ave在往Surfers Paradise一半的路程即可到達
喜歡床位有自己的窗簾，床架上也有獨立的燈和獨立充電的插座，有3個「大房間」（應該是大空間😂）每一間的床位非常的多，這次被安排在Room2，浴室和廁所在這個區域，但剛好被安排在離浴室和廁所蠻近的床位，所以經過的人很多～有點吵雜。水量充足且熱水持續供應，也有毛巾（在床上）和洗髮精.沐浴乳和潤絲精（在淋浴間內）我訂的時候是有供應早餐和晚餐的，但都是簡單的食物，除了噪音的部分，其他都很不錯

UUtente ospiteI’ve stayed in other backpackers before, and I’m really surprised by how clean and organized this place is. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely impressive. I stayed for 4 days, and for 3 of them everything was very clean. The kitchen has everything you need — I even used the mini oven to make homemade pizza. There’s also a pool, laundry, and tables and chairs outside where you can study or relax during summer.
The 6-bed female room had its own fridge and a locker for each person. The room was very clean, and they provided a towel and a blanket. I was lucky to share the room with very tidy girls during my first three days, so it stayed just as clean as when we arrived.
The staff were also really nice and calm. Overall, considering the price and that it’s a backpacker hostel, it’s excellent — 10/10!

UUtente ospiteL'ostello è aperto da appena un mese. L'ambiente è pulito e igienico. Il proprietario e la sua famiglia vivono al primo piano e sono persone molto gentili. La cucina era pulita e spaziosa. Il dormitorio femminile da 10 persone è molto pulito, il bagno con doccia, il water e il lavandino hanno porte separate, quindi non ci sarà troppa folla quando ci si lava al mattino. La camera era spaziosa e nel complesso molto bella. Il noleggio delle tavole da surf costa 10 $ al giorno. L'ostello è anche vicino alla spiaggia. Anche il supermercato è vicino.

JJennifer CulminasHo avuto un buon soggiorno in questo motel. La stanza era pulita, comoda e ben mantenuta ‑, con tutto quello che mi serviva per poche notti lontano. Il personale era amichevole e ospitale, e il controllo ‑in era veloce e facile. La posizione era conveniente, rendendo semplice per andare al lavoro e esplorare la zona. In generale, era una piacevole e disturbata ‑esperienza gratuita. Mi sarebbe piaciuto rimanere qui di nuovo.

JJochen SchleissAfter a long day of driving, i arrived at the place because i just needing a place to sleep for the night. It’s basic, as expected, but at least it was clean. The room was small and plain, with just the essentials—a bed, a desk, with shared bathroom.
It wasn’t particularly comfortable, and the amenities were minimal, but it served its purpose as a quick stopover. The staff was polite enough, and while it’s not somewhere we’d stay for more than one night, it worked for what we needed: a budget-friendly, no-frills place to rest before hitting the road again.

È in una buona posizione, a circa 3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione del tram e vicino alla spiaggia, ma fai attenzione perché fuori è molto vivace fino a tarda notte. A seconda delle tue capacità comunicative, puoi avere uno scambio internazionale con persone nella stessa stanza, quindi è altamente raccomandato per le persone che vogliono accettare una sfida.

SScarlettWSally, che ci ha dato un buon incontro e un saluto sulle camere e sulle strutture circostanti, nonché dove visitare Daintree. Era super flessibile quando dovevamo cambiare il controllo delle date a causa del cambiamento di volo. C'è un'ampia zona di pranzo e di intrattenimento comuni per soddisfare tutte le esigenze.
Una esperienza molto jungle, se amate essere nella natura, dormire con la foresta ASMR, questo è il posto per andare.
Torneremo la prossima volta che visiteremo Daintree.
