La posizione è perfetta, è vicino al mare e i trasporti pubblici sono facili da usare. Penso che avere un letto privato sia il vantaggio migliore! Tuttavia, non c'è acqua calda nella doccia.
Il personale era gentile anche se ho fatto il check-in tardi alle 22:00.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The private room was small but was very clean. The the shared bathrooms were also clean and provided shampoo, conditioners and. Body wash. The shared kitchen facilities could have been cleaner but not the hotels fault! Staff very friendly! Great location

Ho soggiornato nella pensione Civic prima di avere una stanza a Townsville.
Mi sentivo un posto davvero buono per gestire.
Utilizzavo una camera da quattro persone, ma non era molto incomoda perché ci erano diversi bagni e bagni condivisi, e il personale era tutto amico ㅎㅎㅎ
Voglio presentarvi ai miei amici.

Penso che questo sia l'alloggio con il miglior rapporto qualità-prezzo a Brisbane!
È amichevole e sembra una stanza privata. C'è uno spazio confortevole di fronte all'alloggio.
È un po' deludente che non ci sia l'aria condizionata..!

La ragione per un po' di sollevamento è che la posizione è davvero buona, ma c'è un po' di collina rigida. Inoltre, ci sono tracce di vecchie strutture, soprattutto uso cucina, quindi la gestione è un po' difficile. A parte questo, penso che la posizione sia molto buona, tranne per il lato della collina. Ho un dottore da visitare di nuovo.

Always a great getaway place to go to. Very peaceful and stress free. Facilities are what you would expect from a country hotel and the newly completed bathrooms are a bonus. Unrestored and charming hotel with great artwork everywhere. Excellent meals in the evening and a very good diy breakfast provided in the dining room.

A newly renovated hostel runs by Little Drifter in Cairns CBD area. Everything is quite new and well maintained, except for the washing machines (quite a few are broken and still waiting to be fixed, only 2-3 machines are working, both laundry and drying cost $6 each time so that would be $12 in total if you wash and dry in one go). Yet big shout out to the staff there, they’re all very friendly, responsive and helpful, and that really makes a huge difference.
The whole atmosphere in the hostel is really cozy and chill. I lived in a 8-bed dorm, everyone is really respectful and quiet, especially after 22:00 when the lights are off. Kitchen has everything you need so you don’t need to worry about anything. And for ladies who might need to blow dry your hair, you can borrow hairdryer at the reception by giving out your passports/driver licenses.
Regarding location, it’s definitely prime, everything is within walking distance. Woolworths is just next door, Esplanade and Lagoon are just 5 mins walk away, Cairns Central just 10 mins walk away. It’s definitely a really good choice if you’re new to the city and would like to have easy and fast access to everything.

UUtente ospiteActually Myself and my colleague booked two family cabins for three nights. That is for work and we were the only guests. As per advertised on trip.com we paid for including buffet breakfast. Following day morning when we went for the restaurant we were told they have not been provided our names and we need to pay for breakfast.. So I had to bring my booking print out and show the restaurant staff breakfast was included. Even though they let us eat there they were not convinced and were suspicious I guess.
So that day my colleague went to see the manager of the accommodation and he said to me she was not convinced about breakfast was included. My colleague said it was very unpleasant and embarrassing. She told him I need to come down too. But later when I went to see her she said everything is sorted out and problem was they didn't know anything about Trip.com and trip.com send the booking through ******* and wrongly mentioned each of our booking included three adults and the extra payment is for additional adults as they understood. So the third day morning we didn't have issue at the breakfast as our names passed on. But unfortunately last day morning restaurant staff asked us to pay for breakfast because our name was not on the list. Luckily the chef remembered us and he was very politely let us eat. Even though we paid for breakfast we were at mercy of good people. Whole experience was very inconvenient and embarrassing. I think main bungle was done by Trip.com. But management did not bother to completely sort it out.
This was my first time with Trip.com and Aaok Moondarra Accommodation Village. My colleague said he did not have issues previously with Trip.com but all those occasions were without breakfast. Other than that accommodation was really good. It had got good Wi-Fi, YouTube and Netflix.
My advise is if you book through Trip.com for an accommodation with breakfast make sure with the accommodation that it has been correctly passed on to them.

DDollmeisterOkay here’s my review. The Espy has so much going for it in terms of being central to the entertainment precinct of Cairns Esplanade.
Check in was easy and friendly and the two bunk dorm had its own dedicated ensuite bathroom which was very clean and quite large.
The bedroom was clean and the bunks were enclosed wood and steel construction with zero squeaking. Clean towel and linen provided.
So that’s all the very good stuff.
The not as good things I observed were:
- the lounge/common areas were dimly lit, very tired (bordering on festy) furniture and not somewhere I’d socialise due to limited seating, very few power/USB outlets or clean comfortable seating.
- The pool…. Or should I call it the tropical punch bowl of various biological matter and other detritus… if you’re keen of growing something fungal on your body, go in…. I decided not to.
-Kitchen and meal prep area all seemed clean and safe to get your mung bean and tofu ready for consumption.
- The personal under bunk locker was missing its latch and with two roommates I had to say a little prayer that my gear would be safe inside my enclosed bunk.
Overall this was my maiden voyage as a backpacker and at 57 years of age, I’ve stayed in a lot of Hotels and Motels costing far more for way less cleanliness. I rate this place highly for all the good reasons above.
The not so good stuff is easily fixed by management but for $65 per night in peak season, I don’t think you can get any better value in Central Cairns right near the action. Pubs, cafes, night market and the City Lagoon.
Thanks Espy crew, you made this old dog’s stay a pleasant one and will be back if and when the opportunity presents itself.

UUtente ospiteHo trovato questa proprietà via Kayak che mi ha portato all'Trip.com. Dopo aver pagato, ho trovato la proprietà in un luogo diverso dalla mappa e non ho corrispondeto alle foto. La conferma di posta elettronica aveva le foto giuste e questo è quando ho capito che sta succedendo qualcosa di strano. Non sapevo che avrei condiviso questo piccolo appartamento con un estraneo finche' non mi sono arreso. È fondamentalmente l'appartamento di qualcuno. La stanza ha una zona di soffitto, dove penso che qualcun altro dorme. La polpa ha profumato come se qualcuno l'avesse già usata. La stanza aveva appena un fan pedalizzato. La stanza non è nemmeno chiusa, quindi non mi sentivo al sicuro lasciando niente di prezioso in quella stanza, lasciando solo dormire con un estraneo a destra della porta. Wifi non funzionava nemmeno. Ho lasciato subito e ho trovato altro posto dove stare. Non vale il denaro, solo una situazione molto strana. Viaggio molto e non userò mai più Trip.com. Non posso fidarmi.

Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è molto alto. Il prezzo include cena e colazione gratuite. Non abbiamo cenato perché avevamo poco tempo. Abbiamo fatto colazione, che offriva una selezione molto ricca, con diversi tipi di pane, marmellata, yogurt, latte, ecc., oltre a frutta fresca. L'ambiente è un po' affollato e si percepisce un leggero odore non molto piacevole, ma che si attenua dopo averlo sentito a lungo. Il materasso ha un'imbottitura più comoda e lenzuola, federe e asciugamani vengono cambiati per ogni ospite. Questo è un aspetto piuttosto positivo. Di notte, praticamente tutti mantengono il silenzio nella zona relax o parlano a bassa voce. Se avete bisogno di parlare ad alta voce o di svolgere qualche attività, tutti si recano nell'area comune. Il senso della moralità pubblica è piuttosto buono. Il bagnoschiuma, lo shampoo e il balsamo in bagno sono contenuti in flaconi separati, ma hanno la stessa consistenza. Sono comodi da usare. Nel complesso, sono molto soddisfatto.

UUtente ospiteI’ve stayed in other backpackers before, and I’m really surprised by how clean and organized this place is. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely impressive. I stayed for 4 days, and for 3 of them everything was very clean. The kitchen has everything you need — I even used the mini oven to make homemade pizza. There’s also a pool, laundry, and tables and chairs outside where you can study or relax during summer.
The 6-bed female room had its own fridge and a locker for each person. The room was very clean, and they provided a towel and a blanket. I was lucky to share the room with very tidy girls during my first three days, so it stayed just as clean as when we arrived.
The staff were also really nice and calm. Overall, considering the price and that it’s a backpacker hostel, it’s excellent — 10/10!

L'ostello è aperto da appena un mese. L'ambiente è pulito e igienico. Il proprietario e la sua famiglia vivono al primo piano e sono persone molto gentili. La cucina era pulita e spaziosa. Il dormitorio femminile da 10 persone è molto pulito, il bagno con doccia, il water e il lavandino hanno porte separate, quindi non ci sarà troppa folla quando ci si lava al mattino. La camera era spaziosa e nel complesso molto bella. Il noleggio delle tavole da surf costa 10 $ al giorno. L'ostello è anche vicino alla spiaggia. Anche il supermercato è vicino.

JJochen SchleissAfter a long day of driving, i arrived at the place because i just needing a place to sleep for the night. It’s basic, as expected, but at least it was clean. The room was small and plain, with just the essentials—a bed, a desk, with shared bathroom.
It wasn’t particularly comfortable, and the amenities were minimal, but it served its purpose as a quick stopover. The staff was polite enough, and while it’s not somewhere we’d stay for more than one night, it worked for what we needed: a budget-friendly, no-frills place to rest before hitting the road again.
