Hotel a 3 stelle in Distretto di Dili, Timor Est

Positive: This was my first time in this hotel and I stayed for 10 nights. This is a reasonably priced and good hotel in Dili. The 25 square meters guestroom has everything that I needed, apart from a comfortable bed - a work desk, work chair, desk lamp, additional chairs, breakfast, wifi, a 1.5-liter water bottle daily, electric kettle, Chinese tea sachets, mini refrigerator, hot water for shower, free laundry service, plenty of natural light, and two wall sockets (combined US A-Type and Euro C-Type, and Australia Type I) on every wall. In fact, they do not properly advertise the amenities they provide that should be their main selling point, and the available photos of a guestroom is inadequate that do not show the whole range of amenities they provide. And their human quality is excellent - friendly, helpful, English speaking staff members, including some janitors. I will stay in this hotel when I visit Dili again. I highly recommend this hotel. Negative: There are a few negative things, but these are beyond the hotel's control. For example, poor internet connectivity. Suggestion: The hotel could install a central main light in the guestroom from the ceiling and include a pedestal fan, as air conditioning is not always required. Another important and sustainable suggestion is to provide continuous electricity connection to the mini refrigerator. Presently, electricity connection to the refrigerator is turned off when the door keycard is removed when leaving the room, but I think that power supply to the refrigerator should be uninterrupted to keep stored food items fresh and safe.

Non c'è nessun Grab o Gojek a Dili, quindi ho chiesto in anticipo di prendere l'aeroporto e non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta. L'ingresso non sembra un hotel, e il tassista che finalmente l'ha trovato insisteva che fosse l'indirizzo sbagliato. C'è un hotel a 100 metri più economico a piedi della strada non elencato su Tripadvisor, questo è un po' meglio, tuttavia. Il proprietario mi ha detto che se me ne andassi alle 6 sarebbe stato bene per un volo alle 8:00. Non era chiuso, e ho dovuto svegliare la ragazza alle 4:00 per aprire la porta. Se avessi perso il volo dopo il suo consiglio, sarebbe stato tutto su di lui. Altrimenti il posto è pulito, anche se le camere non sono timidi quotidianamente.

While there’s no major negative thing about this place, there is also no major positive. It stands out like a much better looking “Hollywood style motel”. The breakfast is adequate. The location is more or less ok. The fact that Dili needs people to have or arrange transportation continually does no favour for the hotel, but has nothing really to do with the hotel itself, of course. It is just that fact that there is nowhere really walking distance from it.

If you have matters to visit in Dili, basically choices are limited due to city size. This hotel is like second or third choices in Dili but provided okay level service.
