Hotel a 3 stelle in Puglia, Italia

Unfortunately this was a stay of two halves, and I wish I'd heeded other people's low reviews about the host's attitude before booking. The place itself was lovely. A cute, clean little room that seemed authentic and had some nice finishing touches. The area around was beautiful and it's a great location. I was excited to see the room description, stating a spa, billiards room and other amenities that would account for the higher cost of this place. I saw the warning that the booking was non-refundable but took a punt.... I was wrong for doing this. Soon after booking, I received the first of many messages stating the jacuzzi in the photo was an extra 209 euros, which was apparently written in very small print, the large fridge in the photos was just for show and alongside this were given a set of house rules including not being allowed to eat in the room! I didn't like the attitude from the messages and I tried to cancel, over 2 weeks before our stay, but was refused. Cut to the day of stay I was sent another set of rules, this time warning us that if we change the temperature of the air conditioner or any other settings then ”the consequences will be on us”, it also told us to re-read the rules carefully and reminded us we couldn't eat or drink in the room. Self-check in was simple, although on the website it states there's a front desk and luggage storage on site... There isn't. It was 39 degrees outside and 27 inside. I messaged saying that in the heat setting, 24 degrees, was too warm and asked if we could lower the temperature, she refused, I asked for a fan, she pretty much accused me of lying, saying it WASN'T too warm, and after a long and draining conversation she ”allowed” us to change it to 18 degrees. After this, I tried to be civil and she responded with some suggestions of places to eat and visit. We ”respected the people who work for you” as she demanded in the messages. The apartment was equipped with basics but for the price, would have expected extras like small toiletries or glasses for water. It all went well until the last day on check out, I suggested some things to make the stay better such as a friendlier manner, trash cans in the room and more toiletries, as this was quite an expensive stay. I suggested she revisit the description of the hotel and that she didn't send ”the rules.” She didn't like this. In all honesty, the woman, I believe, is a narcissist, and can't take responsibility for her mistakes. She wouldn't accept there were areas for improvement and when it came to asking for help that linked to her apartment, she took it as a criticism on her part and went on the attack. She sent a final message which was copied from one previously sent, so this suggests she's had similar issues before. I had to block her because she wouldn't stop messaging me! I have all the messages saved and complained to trip.com who have been extremely helpful. If you want to stay in a nice place, this is lovely, but there are similar ones out there with nicer hosts. Don't give this rude lady business. I never did get to play a game of billiards.

Struttura veramente ben posizionata a pochi minuti (4 a piedi) dalla stazione centrale. Check in effettuato online e comodao sistema di apertura di portone di ingresso e due porte direttamente dal cellulare (questo può diventare ovviamente un problema non piccolo qualora il cellulare sia scarico e non si abbia modo di accedere ad internet). Pulizia da rivedere: c'erano vari resti di imballaggio di shampoo e sapone sopra il soffione della doccia. Il condizionatore della camera 1 in cui abbiamo soggiornato funzionava ma praticamente non faceva freddo: impostato su rafreddamento, a 18° e con ventola al massimo la camera era appena fresca: fortunatamente abbiamo soggironato in un giorno in cui la temperatura esterna non era eccessiva. Mobilia poco curata e vecchiotta. Consigliato per chi ha bisogno di una camera per una notte vicino alla stazione come nel nostro caso, ma il prezzo andrebbe ridimensionato considerata la situazione complessiva della camera.

What an amazing experience to stay in a Trullo at this property! My husband and I booked our stay in mid-Nov., which is the beginning of the off-season in Puglia. When we arrived, the concierge/manager, Ugo, graciously upgraded us to a loft/superior accommodation. It was fantastic! He personally walked us to our charming, Trullo, which was not only impeccably clean, but also completely modernized despite being an historic, antiquated structure. We arrived on a chilly day to find that the marble floors are heated and very toasty! The queen bed was comfy, and the updated bathroom was enormous, with a huge shower. The little dwelling even had a very well-equipped, modern kitchen if one were to stay for a longer period. Finally, I left my small jewelry box in bathroom when we checked out. We took a 20 minute taxi ride to a train station, and apparently, during the ride Ugo tried to contact the driver to inform us that they'd found the box. Ultimately, when I discovered my oversight at the next hotel and contacted Ugo, he kindly express-shipped my jewelry back to my home in the U.S. I can't praise this property or its management highly enough. Don't hesitate to stay here!

The host gave me his WhatsApp number and was very helpful and friendly throughout my stay which was only one night. The room was very clean and modern and also had a balcony , the location was also good just a bit out of the city centre of Bari . I did struggle to find it and the codes for the outer door and inner doors did get annoying, but again the host answered me straight away and helped, he also gave me information on local restaurants and bars as well as directions to the Ferry Port and local taxis, I thought he was excellent and went out of his way to help me and insure I had a great stay! Thank you!! I do understand the door codes are for security purposes and wasn’t a big deal it was just a slight quibble. I would definitely stay here again💯 if I was in Bari and needed accommodation! An Amazing Palazzo situated inside the ZTL. We loved the architecture and staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked two suites for our family of four but were put on two different floors. One suite on 2nd floor is as beautiful as shown in the picture. Another suite is located on the top floor which feels like a maid room in the old days. It was ok but because it’s on the top floor the temperature in the room was higher despite the Air conditioning. Nonetheless we enjoyed the stay. There are also many restaurants, souvenir shops, cafes and gelateria right outside and along the streets where is hotel is located. Nice vibes but not noisy. Dinner at their restaurant (La Bocca) was alright . Beautiful pasta but second course dishes were average. and there were many mosquitoes around the area of our table and we all got bitten badly.

La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente, molto vicino alla spiaggia e a pochi passi dal centro città, il che ha reso l'esplorazione della zona facile e piacevole. C'è anche una buona disponibilità di parcheggio, il che è molto comodo. Tuttavia, non ho avuto una buona esperienza durante la notte. Il rilevatore di fumo era posizionato direttamente sopra il letto, con una luce LED verde che lampeggiava ogni pochi secondi. Questo ha reso estremamente difficile riposare. Per riuscire a dormire, ho dovuto spostare il materasso fuori dalla camera da letto e posizionarlo nel corridoio vicino al bagno per allontanarmi dalla luce, il che chiaramente non è accettabile in un ambiente alberghiero. Questo è un aspetto che dovrebbe essere riconsiderato, sia modificando il posizionamento sia riducendo l'impatto della luce. Nel complesso, sebbene la posizione sia un punto di forza, questo problema ha influito significativamente sul mio soggiorno.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful trullo! The location is excellent, right next to a landmark church. We loved hearing the historic church bells every hour—it wasn't loud or bothersome at all, just very charming. It is also an easy 10-minute walk to the main tourist area. For those driving, we managed to find a safe and free parking spot just a 5-minute walk from the property. The host was wonderful and very thoughtful, leaving us a sweet welcome gift that included a bottle of white wine, bottled water, biscuits, and a local map. The only downsides were that the sofa was a bit saggy and the bed in the loft was too soft. Also, since there is no air conditioning, it got very hot at night during the heatwave. Overall, it’s a beautiful place with great hospitality, but something to keep in mind if you visit during peak summer!

Ottimo ubicazione, a 20 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria e dalla porta posteriore, offre accesso diretto al centro storico brillante. È molto piacevole soggiornare all'Hotel Arryvo. È molto moderno, design moderno, con letto confortevole e camere pulite. Un bel posto a sedere sul primo piano e un grande caffè/restaurante. Il colazione è una la carta dal menu e è stato un rinfrescante cambiamento dalla norma del buffet. La lavastoviglie e le macchine da asciugare sul sito sono stati un massiccio bonus. Benvenuti al ricevimento al check-in, estremamente utile e simile al check-out. Rimango assolutamente ancora se ritorno a Lecce in futuro.

Questo è uno di quei grandi hotel antichi che un tempo probabilmente erano piuttosto lussuosi, ma ora sono piuttosto trasandati e fatiscenti (ma proprio per questo economici e assolutamente accettabili per un breve soggiorno). La posizione è ottima, nel cuore del centro di Taranto. Ci sono stato sabato sera ed era molto animato. La mia camera (328) si affacciava sul cortile interno, un po' squallido ma almeno non rumoroso. Per quanto riguarda i servizi... funzionano. La doccia era calda ma con getto lento. Il grande condizionatore installato in camera era brutto ma funzionava. Il letto singolo era piccolo e duro, ma comunque adeguato. Dista circa 30 minuti a piedi dalla stazione, ma la passeggiata lungo il porto è molto piacevole.

This hotel was the highlight of our trip. Despite arriving 30 mins early to check in, a staff member was immediately sent to help us and arrived within 10 minutes to get us settled. The room was immaculately kept and had really fresh crisp sheets. We loved wandering the grounds in the morning, and the trees were bursting with citrus, figs, grapes and olives. Despite a small language barrier, we felt so welcome and the food was incredible. The vending machines were also a nice touch for fresh cold water. We couldn’t recommend this place enough for a more secluded, peaceful and serene stay near Ostuni.
