Hotel a 3 stelle in Creta, Grecia

I stayed here with my mom for one night, and we were both very impressed. The value for money was excellent, and the room actually exceeded my expectations—it looked even better in real life than in the photos. We had a beautiful view from the window, and the location was perfect: quiet, yet only a two-minute walk to the beach. Same for bus stop to Chania. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom, and it was equipped with everything we needed. It felt more like a small apartment, complete with a kitchen and a spacious balcony where we really enjoyed spending time. We liked it so much that we even wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately the rooms were already fully booked for our dates. Overall, a wonderful experience and a place I would definitely recommend.

Had a fantastic stay. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place to rest. I chose this hotel because it’s perfectly located between Heraklion city center and the airport. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the airport, ideal for a late-night or early-morning flight, and it’s right next to two bus stops with direct connections to the center. I booked this hotel last minute and had great communication with the staff beforehand about the possibility of a double bed. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade and it turned out to be one of the best rooms I stayed in during my three-month trip! The room was split over two levels, with the bed upstairs and a clean bathroom, workspace, sofa, and even a small terrace downstairs where you can relax. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The service was also wonderful: the woman at reception was really kind, and even when I checked out in the middle of the night, the staff member on duty was friendly and welcoming too. Thank you!

Oggi sono tornato a casa dopo aver passato una settimana straordinaria in questo hotel a famiglia, e posso dirvi che è stata una delle migliori vacanze che abbia mai avuto, piena di persone carine e di grandi condizioni meteorologiche greche. L'hotel è molto convenientemente situato, si dispone di molti negozi e ristoranti vicino. Lidl è a piedi solo 5-7 min. Nelle vicinanze dell'hotel c'era un grande negozio di caffè- Muoversi. Il centro di Chania si trova vicino all'hotel, con una fermata di autobus che vi porterà a una bella passeggiata e a una deliziosa cena. Ogni giorno le ragazze si assicuravano che la nostra stanza fosse pulita e che abbiamo nuovi asciugamani, e facevano composizione piuttosto impressionante da fiori e asciugamani 😁 Il manager dell'hotel era estremamente amichevole e sempre affrontato in modo efficace le richieste che avevamo .La colazione era deliziosa e il nostro soggiorno era estremamente piacevole. Visitare questo hotel per sentire l'ospitalità greca sorprendente.

It’s ok. Sone things are good. Like dinner is a fair price for the smorgasbord style. Breakfast is ok. Not great. But enough. Sufficient. AC does the job in the room. Slow. ButAC in common areas is at 25. For many cultures 25 is warm and puts ion a sheen or sweat still. Not fun to sweat indoors while eating. Prices are high for juices. Smoothies and such. Too bad. And some rules are weird. saying I can’t have my own food or drinks. Etc. sorry. Your a three star hotel. You don’t get to tell me what to do. We are paying for shelter annd accommodations. And we will live as we wish when it comes to basics. Food for thought. Wifi is useless in rooms. Or our room. Travellers need wifi in the modern eta. Simply unacceptable. Staff is ok. Not charming. But willing to try and help. Also: The pool - can’t be used after 6 pm, that’s insane. Travelled all over the world. I have never seen that before. It’s asinine. You leave for the day. Come back. And can’t swim after 6 pm, ridiculous. .

The owner was wonderful to meet—so kind, welcoming, and generous. He treated us to fresh fruit and shared many helpful tips about the area, making our stay feel extra personal and warm. Breakfast was another highlight: homemade, delicious, and prepared with so much care. This hotel completely won us over—the location, the atmosphere, the hospitality, everything was perfect. We already dream of coming back and staying longer.

Grande luogo, posizione e proprietari. Gli appartamenti sono ristrutturati e ben attrezzati. Ci sono due piscine e bar con grande buono. I proprietari sono fantastici dandovi benvenuto e mantenere molto confortevole durante l'intera permanenza. Le appartamenti sono molto vicine alla vecchia città e zona commerciale.

L'Hotel Irakion si trova proprio nel centro della capitale cretese. Posizione eccellente per visitare tutte le attrazioni, il museo, la Piazza del Leone ecc. o semplicemente per passeggiare e godersi l'atmosfera. Ci sono molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Una grigliata all'aperto di fronte all'hotel era perfetta per prendere un souvlaki da portare a casa la sera e mangiarlo sul balcone con l'ouzo dal piccolo negozio aperto 24 ore di fronte all'hotel. L'hotel in sé è ben gestito, pulito. Ha una reception aperta 24 ore su 24. La camera offriva tutto il necessario, doccia calda, articoli da toeletta, molti asciugamani e un frigorifero. Letti grandi e comodi. Balcone con tavolo e sedie. Hanno anche fornito un discreto buffet caldo e freddo per soddisfare quasi tutti i gusti. La colazione ti prepara per la giornata o per qualsiasi cosa tu stia facendo dopo. Goditi la Grecia 🇬🇷

E'un posto di famiglia, che ha tutto quello che hai bisogno. Siamo rimasti solo per una notte, ma vedo che ci sono un piccolo tiro bianco letti da sole intorno, gli appartamenti sono posizionati a diversi livelli e vi è una vista molto bella da loro. Abbiamo avuto uno studio con aria condizionata e cucina moderna con frigorifero normale, quindi posso assumere che una famiglia può rimanere e cucinare regolarmente per una settimana o più, se necessario. Il punto migliore è stato il prezzo che abbiamo pagato, soprattutto perché ne abbiamo bisogno per una sola notte. L’ospitalità del signor Manolis è qualcosa che lei deve sperimentare. Ero stanco quando arrivava e lui immediatamente portò una bottiglia di acqua fredda. Anche l’altra era presente nel frigorifero.
