Malaysia: hotel con spa nella provincia di Penang

Siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti della nostra camera all'Hotel Penaga, che è una suite situata al secondo piano nell'altra ala. Non è adatta a chi ha grandi bagagli perché bisogna salire le scale. La camera accanto alla nostra è come un loft e ha due piani. L'arredamento della camera sembra molto antico e Peranakan, ci è piaciuto il poster funky e gli ornamenti in legno, persino l'armadio aveva dei bei dipinti. Il bagno aveva anche una vasca da bagno ma l'acqua calda ha impiegato molto tempo a riempirsi. Il buffet della colazione non era niente di speciale, è meglio provare qualche bar o cibo da venditore ambulante locale, perché Penang è un paradiso per il cibo! In termini di posizione, Penaga si trova nella città vecchia ed è abbastanza facile da girare a piedi, incluso il famoso posto cendul, l'edificio Komtar Penang e le aree dei murales (circa 15 minuti a piedi). La zona è tranquilla di notte, ma i bar e la zona della vita notturna sono raggiungibili a piedi. Nel complesso siamo rimasti qui per 3 notti e ci siamo goduti l'intera esperienza.

Mi piace assolutamente questo hotel! E' molto superiore alle mie aspettative. Inizialmente volevo solo una scelta di valore-per-money per il mio viaggio Penang, ma rimanere qui mi è sembrato sorprendente. La posizione è molto conveniente per esplorare le attrazioni di George Town. Il colazione è fantastico! Il mio ultimo giorno, ho dovuto prendere un volo precoce e pagare per il colazione, non mi aspettavo mai che la varietà e la qualità dei cibi fosse così preziosa.Il personale è amichevole, e il team di custodia è gentile e accogliente. La vista notturna attraverso le finestre di soffitto era il mio momento preferito ogni notte. Io scelgo di sicuro St. Giles di nuovo quando torno a Penang!

The hotel is great, staff are impeccable in their attentiveness to the guest. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was absolutely outstanding, with an abundance of choices catered to satisfy every taste. The pool and gym are also fantastic, with the added convenience of being open 24/7, to put in an early morning workout. Spacious and very well equipped and maintained. However, our stay was not without faults and there are definitely some things management needs to address: - the noise from the elevator automatic announcements is absurd! the ”doors opening/closing” alerts are constant and audible from neighboring floors as well as your own.If you stay in a room numbered xx15 or xx16, be advised you will not have a pleasant time - we asked to change rooms immediately as soon as we realized this. - elevators can be SLOW, magma slow. it can take a long time to move around if you are staying in a higher floor. We stayed for 2 nights and during that period 2 separate elevators were down for maintenance. It took us a total of 15 minutes to move from one floor to the other, after getting our room changed (for reasons stated above) and new keycards. - the level from street noise audible in the room is just inadmissible at a supposed 5-star hotel level, at least in the rooms facing the main road. These rooms have, inexplicably, a single pane of glass and very tall windows, which makes soundproofing pretty much nonexistent - mat rempit bikes racing in the dead of night, the call to prayer blasting from the loudspeakers of the mosque nearby before 6am, drilling from the construction site nearby, and other nuisances that definitely disturbed my sleep.

Nice,clean,affordable,comfortable and close to city and close to great places and food,amenities should also include toothbrushes set too,it would be a great addition

La stanza è pulita e l'aria condizionata è buona. Posizione molto strategica, conveniente marzo vicino, passeggiata a Sunway Carnival Mall, molti ristoranti vicino, pub vicino. Molto consigliato per viaggiatori di business e famiglia.

Colazione numerose varietà e molte persone e pieno di persone. Hotel situato a 15 minuti dall'aeroporto. Tuttavia è fuori città. Per la prima volta i turisti non sono consigliabili di rimanere lì. Circolare con ristorante nel villaggio di Malay. È possibile sentire l'ora della moschea pregare al mattino e alla sera. Sceglieremo di rimanere qui per l'esperienza di accesso alla piscina e dobbiamo partecipare al matrimonio. La camera è molto spaziosa e lunga. Bene con la grande famiglia, perché ci sono 2 letti di grandezza re, bagno indoor, piccole piscine di fronte al mare, sauna, jacuzzi non sembrano funzionare. Abbiamo fatto un check-in precoce e non abbiamo affrontato una lunga coda. Durante le 17:00 abbiamo visto molte famiglie che stanno cogliendo la stanza. Le strutture sono grandi per i bambini - giochi da tavolo, parco da letto, piscina. L'hotel è al di fuori della spiaggia ma non può nuotare. È anche possibile vedere un parcheggio barca villaggio.

Hotel in a strategy location, a lot of food stalls around near hotel. staff are friendly, room is very clean except this time found a food string on the floor. air conditioner is not very cool but fan is provided. TV channel is not clear. other than that, all other things are ok.

Checking in duration was took quite sometime as the hotel was in high occupancy period due to the school holiday or long holiday. However, the staff was greeted me with warm smile, the checking in process was quite fast when comes to my turn. They provided detailed explanation of the room booking, the surrounding environments and those facilities that can be enjoyed. Plus they have gifted me 2 pieces of cookies which warmed my stomach and heart as well. Overall the room was spacious. I love the softness of the bed mattress and pillow. However, there is 1 full body length mirror facing to the bed which causing me cant sleep comfortably so i have asked the housekeeper to cover it up. They are helpful in fulfil all my request which is included the water bottles as well. Overall stay was good, breakfast choice also many variety and the waitress was greeted me with warm smile. I would strongly recommend this hotel stay to my friends and definitely will bring my family to this hotel again next round.

L'esperienza complessiva dell'hotel è stata eccellente. Ci sono due negozi vicino, e la piscina e il jacuzzi dell'hotel sono grandi. L'illuminazione della stanza è giusta, e la cena in camera è ragionevolmente prezzi. Le strutture della camera da bagno sono di Elemis, che è un bel toccamento. La colazione è stata anche buona con molte opzioni. In generale, è stata una soggiorno molto piacevole.

L'hotel si trova in una posizione eccellente, comoda per esplorare Georgetown. Il personale è stato sempre cordiale e accogliente durante tutto il nostro soggiorno. La camera era spaziosa, pulita e progettata con cura. Un dettaglio degno di nota è stato il filtro per l'acqua 3M in camera, che forniva acqua potabile pulita senza bisogno di bottiglie di plastica: un tocco di classe sia per il comfort che per la sostenibilità. Ci tornerei sicuramente!
