Giappone: hotel con spa nella provincia di Prefettura di Ōita

Le camere sono un po' piccole, ma nella norma per gli hotel giapponesi. La posizione è ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Beppu e con molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Adoro il fatto che questo hotel abbia una piscina sul tetto con una vista mozzafiato su Beppu (anche se la piscina è molto bassa). Ci siamo fatti un bel bagno nell'onsen dell'hotel, ma il mio compagno ha detto che era un po' sporco nella sezione maschile. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto usufruire dell'alcol a volontà per 1000 yen a causa del poco tempo a disposizione, ma sarebbe perfetto per gli amanti dell'alcol! Lo consiglio vivamente e ci tornerò! Personale gentile, pulito e accogliente!

We rated this hotel average as we were disappointed with the kaiseki dinner which should be one of the highlights of an onsen hotel. There were expensive sounding items on the menu such as abalone and lobster but they were not fresh and didn’t taste good at all. Prefer to have well prepared less expensive items. We stayed in Sorakan, however the walkway from the main hotel to Sorakan on the upper part of the slope looked ugly and gave a bad first impression. Otherwise, th main buildings looks impressive. The compensation is the nice view from the room and the indoor onsen. The service is up to standard but is more like a city hotel instead of an onsen hotel.

L'hotel è costruito proprio in cima alla stazione JR con il grande magazzino Hands proprio sotto che occupa il seminterrato fino al 4° piano, 5-7 per i parcheggi, 8/f-19/f è l'hotel, la hall è all'8/f. Onsen al coperto al 19/f e all'aperto al 21/f. L'arredamento è un po' datato ma era pulito e ordinato. Il personale era disponibile, in grado di comunicare in inglese. La colazione era in stile semi buffet con antipasti in stile occidentale o giapponese tra cui scegliere. La doccia era buona, la camera con una cassaforte di grandi dimensioni.

First of all, I would like to extend special thanks to the hotel for their cooperation, and especially to Mr. Ninomiya from the hotel for his tremendous assistance, which made my partner and I experience a truly romantic and unforgettable time. The hotel staff spoke good English and were very friendly. The environment was tranquil and clean, the hot springs were excellent, and the view from the room I booked was absolutely superb. If I have the chance to visit Beppu for a vacation again in the future, I will definitely return and will also recommend it to my friends.

Affidabile per il JR Beppu, la ricezione è automatizzata con l'aiuto di un personale amichevole. L'impianto di Onsen è un po' vecchio ma utilizzabile.  I ristoranti sono a pochi passi da marcia. La spiaggia non è troppo lontana.

I enjoyed the ryokan. It’s quiet however the downside is it’s location - a good 30mins walk from the main attractions. You can take a cab but that will cost quite a bit despite short distance. The onsen is the bomb. Outdoor and not too crowded. Mostly i encountered only locals / Koreans. The restaurant serves food that tastes like grandma’s cooking. Not the most comprehensive to the palate but it feels like home. Overall, pleasant.

The Grand Mercure Beppu Bay Resort offers spacious, clean rooms and excellent service, with staff who communicate well in English. The lounge is a highlight, providing complimentary snacks and drinks, including alcohol, though seating can be limited during busy times. Breakfast was average and could be improved, especially considering the price. The hotel’s location is a bit far from Beppu downtown, which may be inconvenient for those wanting frequent city access. Parking spaces are also limited, which can cause some difficulty if returning late at night. Despite these drawbacks, the overall stay was enjoyable, thanks to the comfortable rooms and attentive staff.

Situato al terzo piano della Beppu Tower, dista circa 10-15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Beppu, ed è molto facile da trovare. Nelle vicinanze si trovano farmacie, fast food e minimarket, quindi non dovrete preoccuparvi di cibo, bevande o intrattenimento. È un capsule hotel relativamente nuovo. C'è un'area separata per le donne; la sua tranquillità dipende molto dagli altri ospiti intorno a voi, è piuttosto casuale. I servizi igienici e le docce sono esterni alla zona notte. Ogni persona ha un armadietto privato e vengono forniti asciugamani e pantofole.

I found the public onsen small not enough facilities and amenities. Befire, all other onsen I stayed usually provide drinks juices and ice cream. but here, after the sauna I didn't see a bottle of water !. and the rubbish bin for so full and the water refill was empty. secondly, we booked dinner 2 x but the food is just average and the size portion is small. not as good as others I stayed before in Japan.

連住兩晚，入住的是9樓的房間，説一下體驗。從硬件設施而言，酒店還比較新，設施都不錯，入住前台是在一棟別墅內，估計是老房子旁邊加蓋的酒店，別有韻味。一層僅兩套房，所以房間很大，室內温泉特別好評，泡起來很舒服。大浴池在步行三分鐘的另一棟樓內，是在一樓的無邊浴池，推薦傍晚日落時體驗，很不錯。從食物角度來説，這裏的會席料理品質極高，是我在別府住宿的兩家酒店中品質最好的，且在新樓中的餐廳松秀全部是小包房，數量估計是和房間數對應的，和式早餐和晚餐都在包房內享用，非常愜意。也在另一棟樓裏體驗了他們的自助早餐，也是挺不錯的，特別是水果的品質很高。從位置角度而言，門口就是公交站，無論是到別府站，鐵輪温泉，還是去大型購物中心，都衹需要乘坐一部公交，也是很方便了。總之是非常令人印象深刻的入住體驗，值得再次來訪。
