Giappone: hotel con spa nella provincia di Prefettura di Kyoto

Dear Sir/Madam, I recently had the opportunity to stay at your hotel, and I would like to share my experience with you. First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional design and comfort your property offers. Kengo Kuma’s architectural brilliance, with its use of natural wood, thoughtful lighting, and integration of art pieces, creates a stunning and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the materials, the size of the beds, and the premium linens were truly impressive. In terms of design and comfort, your hotel sets a remarkable standard. However, I did encounter several service-related issues that I believe could be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience. I would like to share these points in the hope that they are helpful for future improvements: 1. Breakfast Lounge and Sushi Area: The proximity of these two areas creates a strong odor upon entering, which can be unpleasant. Improved ventilation could easily mitigate this issue. 2. Food and Beverage Service After Breakfast: The lack of food and beverage service after breakfast hours was inconvenient. At the very least, providing a space for guests to enjoy tea or coffee would be a welcome addition. 3. Room Service Availability: After a long journey, I was surprised to learn that room service was unavailable and that only rice balls could be provided. Expanding room service options would greatly improve the guest experience. 4. Flexibility with Breakfast Hours: Due to the time difference, I arrived slightly late for breakfast at 10:10 AM and was informed that nothing could be served. Even my request for tea did not receive a clear response. Greater flexibility in accommodating guests dealing with jet lag would be highly appreciated. 5. Lobby Services: The inability to offer anything to drink or even host a guest in the lobby felt restrictive. This could be improved to make the lobby a more welcoming space. 6. Spa Experience: I was unable to experience the renowned Banyan Tree spa as it was fully booked. Expanding spa reservation availability would help meet guest expectations for this signature offering. In summary, while the hotel excels in design and comfort, the service offerings seem to be constrained by rigid rules and limited hours, which can detract from the overall guest experience. I strongly believe that adopting a more flexible, guest-centered approach would significantly enhance satisfaction. If the above issues were addressed, I would certainly consider staying at your hotel again during my next visit to Kyoto. Ho prenotato un soggiorno di tre notti al prezzo del Double Eleven. Sebbene non sia in una zona molto trafficata, è molto comodo per raggiungere la stazione della metropolitana, la stazione degli autobus, il supermercato di prodotti freschi e la farmacia. Il servizio non è male e la reception fa del suo meglio per risolvere qualsiasi problema. Una sera ho comprato delle grosse radici e volevo che il ristorante le tagliasse, ma mi hanno detto che non c'era nessun servizio del genere. Ho chiesto alla reception di darmene una manciata 🔪 e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto! La camera è di 18 metri quadrati e non è piccola. Non ho fatto colazione al supermercato, quindi non posso dire nulla. In breve, vale comunque la pena soggiornarci. A proposito, ogni sera si può andare al settimo piano per fare una sorgente termale per alleviare la stanchezza~

Il hotel è assolutamente amorevole! I suoi interni sono incredibili e le camere sono spaziose e ben decorate con ampie attrazioni. Il personale è molto caldo e accogliente. La diffusione del colazione è stata la migliore che abbia mai avuto in Giappone ... include anche molto buone opzioni ala carte. Raccomanderò assolutamente a tutti i visitatori di Kyoto.

Everything was good except the service in hotel restaurants, which was exceptionally bad: 1) breakfast: waited for food for 40 mins, reminded the server 2 times - still nothing; 2) bar: a too long wait for a cocktail. the server said that as apology said cocktail won’t be in included in the bill… but it was there; 3) afternoon tea: told the staff that I dislike dairy products, but have no allergy. So, for example I can eat most sweets, but not the ones with a strong taste of mascarpone cream. In the end they gave me just a plate of fruit and when I remninded them of the above they… did nothing ) I stayed at this hotel and had afternoon tea there last year too - everything was fine then. All of the above are 3 different restaurants inside the hotel, so I wouldn’t recommend going to any restaurant there. In all other aspects except services related to food the hotel is good.

The stay here and In-house onsen are quite convenient and comfortable. I chose the room with washing machine. The staff here also very helpful and easy to communicate without language barrier. Walking distance to commercial street and shijo.

La scelta più corretta per il mio viaggio a Kyoto durante le vacanze del Primo Maggio è soggiornare in questo hotel. La posizione è ottima, proprio accanto a Kyoto Takashimaya a circa 6 minuti a piedi da Kamogawa e dalla stazione di Kyoto. Prendere un taxi costa circa 1.300 yen. Sono particolarmente grato all'hotel. Poiché non sono riuscito a prenotare la stessa camera quadrupla familiare in tempo, l'hotel mi ha spostato nella stessa grande camera gratuita. Insieme all'ambiente pulito, il nostro viaggio è stato pieno di sorprese Successivamente sceglierò di nuovo questo hotel quando verrò a Kyoto.

Un vero soggiorno eccezionale a The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto La nostra famiglia ha avuto una bella esperienza a Kyoto, e non abbiamo lasciato altro che gratitudine e ricordi felici. Dal momento in cui siamo arrivati, il servizio era infelice e cordiale il tipo di genuina ospitalità che rende un viaggio davvero speciale. Grazie a Cecilia e Vinnie, della squadra di esperienze degli ospiti, che si sono spostati di sopra e di là per rendere il nostro soggiorno insonni e confortevole. Il loro caldo, la loro attenzione e i loro gesti pensativi ci hanno resi incredibilmente benvenuti. Una speciale grida a Cecilia, che ha notato l’amore di mia figlia per Winnie the Pooh dopo la nostra visita al Disneyland Resort, ha preparato una bella carta, un dolce messaggio, e anche un origami di Pooh fatto a mano, e l’ha messo nella nostra stanza. E'assolutamente fatto il giorno della nostra figlia un tale pensiero che non dimentichiamo mai. Il nostro gruppo di ristoranti ha anche il piacere di apprezzare Yuki per il suo servizio di colazione caldo e meraviglioso ogni mattina. Il passaporto di avventura dei Ritz Kids è stata una piacevole sorpresa che non solo si occupa della nostra figlia, ma anche di noi come genitori. E, naturalmente, ci piaceva l'atmosfera festiva di Natale, soprattutto il bellissimo albero di Natale e la casa di gemello straordinario con l'incredibile aroma che riempiva il lobby. Il Ritz-Carlton Kyoto ha superato le nostre aspettative in ogni modo. Ci siamo sentiti curati, accolti e veramente apprezzati. Non possiamo aspettare di tornare di nuovo. Molto raccomandato per le famiglie e chiunque cercasse un soggiorno inoltrabile a Kyoto.

L'hotel è situato in posizione strategica, vicino all'uscita della stazione di Sanjo Keihan. Il personale dell'hotel è stato molto cordiale e disponibile a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Al momento del check-in, ci è stata assegnata una camera con due letti separati, ma abbiamo deciso di passare a una camera con letto king size per circa 40 SGD. Il quartiere dello shopping e molti ristoranti sono a circa 5-10 minuti a piedi, con un'ampia scelta di cibo di qualità. Di fronte all'hotel c'è un minimarket per famiglie, nel caso in cui vogliate fare la spesa. Nel complesso, consigliamo vivamente di soggiornare in questo hotel. Grazie a tutto lo staff per aver reso il nostro soggiorno a Kyoto così piacevole.

Our recent stay at Ujo Soan was, without exaggeration, the finest hospitality experience I have encountered in my 20 years of traveling across Japan. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was nothing short of superb. There are three highlights that made our stay truly unforgettable: 1. Exceptional Culinary Surprise: We were deeply touched by the hotel's generosity in providing a complimentary upgrade to the prestigious ”Tsuiyama Blue Label Crab” set. The quality of the crab and the meticulous preparation were world-class—a true gastronomic journey. 2. Breathtaking Sunset Views: Spending time at the Lounge ”AO” on the 8th floor of Bettei Fuka was a spiritual experience. Watching the sunset over the Kyotango coastline with a drink in hand is a memory we will cherish forever. 3. Outstanding Service (Sakura-san): A special mention must go to Sakura-san. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were exemplary. She anticipated our every need and represents the very best of Japanese Omotenashi. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Mr. Yasuhiko Okita and the General Manager, Mr. Nakanishi, for maintaining such an incredible standard of excellence. If you are looking for a sanctuary that combines luxury, nature, and heartfelt service, Ujo Soan is the only choice. We cannot wait to return.

Value for money, location wise also quite good. Walkable to all the city centre of Kawaramachi where all the shopping malls are at (around 800m to 1km). There are bus stops just 50m from the hotel. Family mart just literally next door, while Lawson & 7-11 further down.
