We recently stayed at this brand new hotel for 3 nights and was thoroughly impressed. As someone who travels frequently and appreciated good design and hospitality, this property hit all the right notes.
The ambience & Room:
The hotel features a clean and medern design.
My room was a decent size-not too small for 2 people-and perfectly maintained.
ิิิิฺ-Modern amenities including a Nespresso machine and a smart TV with Netflix made our stay very comfortable when snowing outside.
-Attentive and consistent housekeeping. The room was refreshed daily with plenty of drinking water provided.
Service:
The staff here are the true stars. They are genuinely friendly, always greeting us with a smile. They went beyond by help to pre-booking a fixed-rate taxi for our airport transfrer, which made our early morning departure stress-free.
Location and Dining:
While the hotel isn't right in the hustle and bustle of the center area, it is within easy walking distance to everything. The subway is just around the corner but we prefer walking for observation. The surrounding area is packed with great local dining options. Plus, the hotel's own restaurant is quite a great choice for a great dinner.
A Small Note for Improvement:
The only thing I missed was the ability to slightly crack open a window. As someone sensitive to room temperature during sleep (especially in winter), having a bit of fresh air would have made the stay even more perfect.
Verdict: Highly recommended for those who valure cleanliness, modern aesthetics, and top-tier service. We would definitely stay here again next time.

UUtente anonimoWe had a wonderful stay at Portom International Hokkaido and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The hotel feels very new and modern, and everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained.
The onsen was one of our favourite parts of the stay. It was beautifully designed, peaceful, and a great way to relax after a long day. We also appreciated having access to a well-equipped gym, which was spotless and had everything needed for a good workout.
The room amenities were surprisingly comprehensive. It wasn’t just the usual toiletries—they even provided thoughtful extras like air freshener, onsen pj, actual pj, bedroom slippers which made the stay feel extra comfortable and convenient.
Overall, the service, cleanliness, and quality of the facilities really stood out. Portom International Hokkaido made our trip even more enjoyable, and we’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and premium stay near the airport.

Overall Impression: A perfect blend of convenience and cozy. Despite the bustling atmosphere and classic, dark decor, the private onsen and dining experience make this a standout choice in the area.
Hightlights:
The room: Spacious with beautiful wooden floors and a private outdoor onsen. Soaking in the heat while snow falls is pure magic. Features like the ”His&Her” sinks and an in-room massage chair make our stay more comfortable. All complimentary in the room adds a thoughful touch.
Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries.
Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless.
Observations:
Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity.
Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV.
Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door.
Verdict: Highly recommended for foodies and onsen lovers who want to be the center of the action.

UUtente ospiteL'hotel è situato alla fine di Tanukoji, quindi è a distanza dalla zona principale, anche se ancora passeggiabile.
Nota che il bagno non ha spazio per mettere i vestiti secchi e dovrai portarli fuori, a meno che non ti dispiace che il fondo dei pantaloni si bagni. Non molto conveniente per i gruppi di genere misti, anche se ci è un cieco che si può disegnare ma ancora visibile dalla riflessione specchio. La stanza è situata nell'edificio allegato che ha molte scale, quindi non così conveniente anche per gli anziani. In generale, hotel decente ma consigliato solo se non si sono problemi a piedi o a guidare.

UUtente ospiteFantastic hotel. Lovely views, great Onsen, stylish interior. The free drinks, including beer and spirits was a massive bonus. The rooms were large and comfortable, although in the annex the sound proofing between floors wasn’t great. Didn’t eat at the hotel but there’s a 7-11 opposite and a few nice but simple places nearby. Highly recommend Marukosuisan, a basic fish restaurant with unbelievable Scallops at very low prices.

TTongheNozo Hotel è un ottimo soggiorno in generale, ma è certamente meglio se si guida. Senza una macchina, ottenere lì può essere un po 'di sconforte.
La camera è gentile di solito giapponese di dimensioni, relativamente piccole ma dotate di tutto quello che ti serve. Il decoro è nuovo, semplice e tranquillamente elegante. Il design più importante è il design pensativo: i dettagli sono chiaramente considerati dal punto di vista dell'ospite, rendendo lo spazio confortevole e ben pianificato ‑. Il bagno pubblico è eccellente. Il servizio del personale dell'hotel è buono, caldo e attento. La zona circostante è molto tranquilla, che è bello, anche se i ristoranti vicino a chiudere presto, quindi la pianificazione di cena avanti è utile.In generale, un soggiorno molto piacevole con buon valore.

UUtente ospiteNice Onsen resort and we like the private Onsen inside the room. The room is huge but it will be great if it has international channels or even Netflix or YouTube. It provides transport to Sapporo so that is great. Nice free drinks and snacks at night.
