India: hotel con spa nella provincia di Kerala

I was weary about booking as the website photos looked quite tired. All of the photos are really old - it was an amazing stay and so much better than I expected. I enjoyed the complementary pottery making and the tea cart in the afternoons. The food à la carte was absolutely delicious. I avoided the buffet a bit as I do in all hotels. The pool is clean and there is excellent service, with staff helping you with towels, umbrellas, and drinks. The rooms are really pretty. Good air con. The gym is good and has air con although the air con is not as powerful as in the bedrooms. The gym has two treadmills, a static bike, basic leg press, weight rack and bench, and some of the arm/shoulder machines too. There were only a few downsides. 1) The beach that it backs onto is actually quite gross (there was nappy in the sand and gunk that looked like sewage), but it’s easy to avoid this. 2) The beach has a real drop from the sand into sea so it’s not very safe to swim in unless you want to be smacked against the bank. These two things don’t matter though as the hotel is lovely and there is enough to do that you don’t need to go on the beach. 3) I booked 2 nights in one booking and 1 night in another booking. I asked when I booked the single, third night, whether I can keep the same room. They said they’d let me know at check in.  They didn’t let me know at check in. They said they’d tell me on the second day in the day, but nothing. I kept asking at reception and I called them on the phone twice, and they kept saying they’d call me back. It was 9.30pm on the night before I’d have to move rooms before they told me I could stay. I’m not really sure why it took so long or they messed me around on this as 3 of my exact rooms were available on the website for those nights, so by that logic it would not have been a problem!

Recentemente sono rimasto all'Hotel Time Square e ho avuto una piacevole esperienza. Essi si sono attenti e si sono allontanati dal loro modo per assicurarmi il mio comfort e la comodità durante il mio soggiorno. La stanza stessa era bella – pulita, spaziosa, ben attrezzata e confortevole, offrendo un bel ritorno dopo un giorno di esplorazione della città. È evidente che l'hotel si fa molto fiero di mantenere elevati standard di pulizia e soddisfazione degli ospiti. La colazione all'hotel era ragionevole, con una selezione decente di articoli che si occupavano di gusti diversi. Anche se non era il buffet più ampio che ho incontrato, la qualità del cibo era buona, e ha dato un buon inizio al giorno. Il problema più persistente è stato il costante raffreddamento dal bagno dell'hotel. Quando ricevevo queste chiamate quasi quotidianamente, diventava piuttosto turbante. È qualcosa che la gestione dell'hotel potrebbe voler riconsiderare o almeno fornire agli ospiti la possibilità di optare per tali comunicazioni. Inoltre, c'è stato un incidente sfortunato con uno dei membri del personale che mi ha condannato a non informarli in anticipo che una volta mi mancherò la colazione a buffet. Questa abruptezza è stata sorprendente e non in linea con il standard di servizio altrimenti eccellente stabilito dal resto del team. In sintesi, il mio soggiorno all'Hotel Time Square è stato piacevole in molti fronti, con personale apprezzabile, bellissime alloggi e opzioni pranzo ragionevoli. Tuttavia, le tattiche commerciali del centro di interesse e l'incidente isolato con un membro del personale hanno fatto un po' di esperienza generale.Spero che l'hotel prenda in considerazione questo feedback per garantire un'esperienza ancora più piacevole e senza soffoco per i futuri ospiti.

Review of O by Tamara Hotel Rating: 3.5/5 stars O by Tamara offers a tale of two experiences: the facilities earn a solid 4 stars, while the service standards hover around 3 stars—creating an interesting contrast that management should address. The Good: The hotel's facilities are genuinely excellent and well worth the visit. The infrastructure and amenities reflect thoughtful design and quality investment. The Challenging: The service execution, unfortunately, doesn't match the facility standards. During our stay, we found ourselves repeating requests multiple times—whether at the restaurant or with general hotel staff. The breakfast service was particularly entertaining in an unintended way: the staff exhibited what I'd call ”Brownian motion hospitality”—lots of energetic movement, but not always in productive directions. Items were frequently forgotten, and follow-ups became necessary more often than expected. The Concerning: We requested a late checkout until 1:00 PM. The front desk approved only a 30-minute extension, yet our bill reflected a 2-hour late checkout. This discrepancy requires immediate attention from management. Recommendations: The property would benefit from comprehensive staff retraining to align service quality with the excellent facilities. Additionally, rooms and common areas could use renovation to maintain the overall standard. Bottom Line: The facilities make this hotel worth considering, but the management team needs to invest in service training and operational consistency. With these improvements, O by Tamara could easily become a standout property. I remain hopeful that management will address these concerns promptly. Thats all!!

I recently stayed at Forte Kochi in India and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful location, with a private courtyard pool that adds to the serene atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and made for a relaxing stay. With plenty to do nearby, we truly enjoyed our time and would gladly return.

We stayed here twice for closeness to the airport. The first time in a suite, which was very large and had plenty of room for the 3 of us, they made a bed up for our son. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Airport shuttle always available. The beds were really comfortable Food was good. Pool was large and good to refresh in. Overall definitely a good place to stay for Kochi airport. Only negative which wasnt really to bad, was the room could of been alittle more cleaner, but it really wasn't a problem.

Шикарное расположение отеля, номер брали в главном корпусе. Красивая и ухоженная территория, персонал приветлив, всегда интересовались нашими пожеланиями. Бассейн небольшой, но у номеров с видом на сад и клубных есть свои бассейны, поэтому людей было мало, спокойно можно было разместиться на лежаках. Не понравились навязчивые таксисты у въезда в отель. Вызвали убер, так они не дали водителю нас забрать! Пришлось подняться чуть выше (в сторону отеля Гоколам) и только там мы смогли сесть в машину. Очень неприятно, а для отеля такого класса не понятно почему разрешают стоянку такси, почувствовали себя не в безопасности! Имейте ввиду, если будете пользоваться убером, что на территорию отеля водитель заехать не сможет и даже к воротам, нужно пройти выше по дороге, только там можно будет сесть в машину, минуя эту мафию таксистов.

Abbiamo avuto un ottimo soggiorno in questo campo/resorte di caffè! L'ospitalità qui è incongrua,,, un enorme complimento al personale che va di sopra e di là per renderti completamente benvenuto. Da quando siamo arrivati, mi sembrava sinceramente di andare a casa nostra. Il caldo e l'attenzione del team sono davvero incredibili, che altri recensori continuano a rallegrarsi. Un altro grande accento era il cibo; ogni pasto era assolutamente delizioso e confortevole, rendendoci completamente confortevoli, proprio come un pasto cucinato a casa. Hanno buone tracce di cammino intorno alla proprietà. Un paio di cose pratiche da tenere in mente. Il Drive In: Si prega di sapere che c'è una strada 1-2 km di ruggetto, senza pavimento che porta fino alla proprietà. Ci vorranno circa 10-15 minuti per arrivare al resort dalla porta principale, quindi si prega di fare un po' di giro e guidare attentamente! Il Spa/Massaggio: mentre il resto del nostro soggiorno era incredibile, la piscina era grande. il massaggio era un completo spreco di tempo e di denaro. Non era piacevole, e non mi consiglio di prenotarlo. In generale, se si passa il bagno e si concentra sulla bella proprietà, il cibo incredibile e il personale meraviglioso, avrete un bel tempo.

Everything was excellent except the activity room. Nothing is in good condition. Would be good if they can maintain it since it would be very helpful when coming with kids. It's been 3 consecutive years i am coming here. The activity room needs to be improved.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the resort. The property is spacious, well-maintained, and offers beautiful views. There are swings for both kids and adults, ***** with a dedicated kids' play area, making it a great choice for families. We booked a Garden View Cottage with a complimentary breakfast buffet, which was good. For lunch and dinner, we ordered à la carte. The overall service was excellent, and the staff was polite, friendly, and attentive. A special thanks to Mr. Nalin from the F&B team. He provided exceptional service and took great care of us throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made our experience memorable. A few suggestions for improvement: The open swimming pool has a minimum depth of 3 feet. A 2-foot shallow section would be much safer and more enjoyable for small children. The other two swimming pools were under renovation during our stay, so I couldn't comment on them. Adding more North Indian food options to the menu would be appreciated. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this resort to families and couples looking for a relaxing getaway.

Un soggiorno inoltrabile in un luogo fantastico! Il nostro soggiorno di 3 notti è stato il più bello di questo bellissimo resort del lago. Dalla nostra arrivo, il personale è andato sopra e oltre per farci sentire benvenuti, così amichevole, utile e genuino alloggio. Il luogo è assolutamente respiro, e l'atmosfera intera del resort è tranquilla e rilassante. Un luogo perfetto per rilassarsi e rilassarsi. Le camere erano bellissime, spaziose, senza spot e molto confortevoli, con tutto quello che ci serviva per una pausa perfetta. Il cibo era un'altra attenzione, ogni pasto era delizioso, bellissime e pieno di sapore. Una menzione speciale a Jeeva nel ristorante, che ha reso la nostra esperienza di cena ancora più memorabile con un servizio così attento e caldo, ma tutti i ristoranti erano eccellenti e ogni pasto è stato un piacere. Anju, che è così bello e ancora molto attento, ma devo dire che ogni membro del personale era così piacevole, che ha reso il nostro soggiorno eccezionale. Non posso raccomandare questa gemma di un posto abbastanza, stiamo già pianificando la nostra prossima visita!
