Regno Unito: hotel con spa nella provincia di Oxfordshire

Non posso credere che sia stata data una camera più piccola con un tetto basso e finestre piccole, quindi doveva tornare alla ricezione e chiedere la categoria corretta di camera, ma è stato detto che la camera prenota è in manutenzione, solo una stanza diversa è disponibile ora. Dopo ore di attesa, la stanza corretta è stata finalmente dato. La cosa divertente è che quando si naviga sul sito web dell'hotel, ci sono ancora le stesse camere disponibili. Perché questo hotel di lusso avrebbe avuto questo genere di trucchi comuni?

Il personale era molto amichevole e utile, è un cane amichevole, ha un bel posto a piedi e pascoli, e l'hotel è molto pulito, abbiamo avuto un sorprendente colazione e anche alcuni pesci e chip al bar, non abbiamo usato il ristorante. E' lontano da Oxford, ma è proprio il suo fascino, un'area tranquilla da sventare. Purtroppo, un giorno l'allarme d'incendio ci ha svegliati tutti alle 4 del mattino. Questo ci ha resi molto sonni, non c'era alcuna compensazione. È stato interessante vedere un camion da vicino. Becchi d'acqua extra o un drink gratuito sarebbero stati carini. La piscina è aperta ai bambini solo per un breve tempo. E il bagno di vapore era profumo di molda.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful – very traditional, full of charm, and in a great Cotswold location close to the Farmers Dog. Staff were friendly and did their best to help, but the WiFi didn’t work at all and with no phone signal it meant no internet access, which was frustrating. The room was very hot with no real way to cool it other than opening the window, which wasn’t ideal on the ground floor. The shower kept swinging between hot and cold, and the room itself felt quite small considering the high price. Overall, a lovely setting but the stay was let down by some practical issues.

Ottimo posto nel centro di Oxford. Buona per chi viaggia senza auto. Se viaggia con la macchina, è necessario parcheggiare a Westgate o Worcester Street Park. Solo aperto nel 2024, quindi le strutture sono nuove e pulite. Stile moderno e elegante. Spa è piccolo, ma ha vapore, sauna e doccia esperienziale. L'unica cosa che abbiamo chiesto è che ci hanno portati 2-3 tentativi di ottenere finalmente le cose consegnate.

It was nice stay. The location was not that great. Breakfast was not buffet but with nice view though the weather was bad that time. The kettle has leftover water and has a lot of scales. The changing room and the showers in the pool was freezing.

Very impressed with the hotel and room. Very clean and one of the most comfortable night’s sleep I’ve had in a hotel in a while. Staff very friendly.The breakfast was very good so much choices and super tasty. The only thing I guess is the parking fee a bit on the higher side. Would definitely recommend if you have the money to spend. Overall 5/5.

Un ringraziamento speciale a Emily per il suo eccellente servizio. Risponde rapidamente alle mie email e mi ha gestito le richieste con grande cura. Abbiamo avuto una splendida esperienza. La stanza era bella e ben preparata. L'hotel ha un charmante stile vintage come il castello, e l'ambiente è bello. Il colazione e la cena e il pranzo sono stati anche molto consigliati! Grazie ancora, Emily! Noi adoriamo stare a Voco! La mia seconda volta, amatelo!

Mi piace davvero il bagno e il massaggio molto bene. Certamente troverò tempo per restare di nuovo 😊
