酒店環境非常好，雖然離牛津的市中心還有約15分鐘車程，但是對於自駕有車的遊客來説也很方便。 大片的草坪，緊挨着湯姆河。早上起來跑步或者散步都很棒。 設施也算新，在英國鄉村酒店來説，我認為已經是很好的了。1樓的每個房間還帶一個户外的小桌子。 酒店自帶的餐廳味道也不錯，主食25磅一份，量很大，就是鹹了點。 唯一不足的是，我預訂了特大床房，但是前台給了我一個普通的標準大床房。還好能加床（15磅），不然肯定要跟他們搞一搞。 攜程也不厚道，收了特大床的高級房費（要貴近1000）沒辦好事情。英文確認函裏面寫：kingbed，對應的床應該是super kingsize。而酒店認為就是kingsize，這在英國是1.5m的，super kingsize才是1.8m的。

Questa è la nostra seconda soggiorno all'hotel entro un anno. L'ambiente è bello e il servizio è buono. La stanza che abbiamo in questo momento non è come ”fresco” guardando, ma il letto era confortevole. Il letto è stato costruito con 6 pizzi, amato.

Really cannot believe that a smaller room with low ceiling and small windows was given, so had to return to reception and ask for the correct category of room, but was told that the room booked is under maintenance, only different room was available now. After hours of waiting, the correct room was finally given. Funny thing was that when browse the hotel website, there are still same rooms available. Why such common tricks would have happened this luxury hotel?

It was nice stay. The location was not that great. Breakfast was not buffet but with nice view though the weather was bad that time. The kettle has leftover water and has a lot of scales. The changing room and the showers in the pool was freezing.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful – very traditional, full of charm, and in a great Cotswold location close to the Farmers Dog. Staff were friendly and did their best to help, but the WiFi didn’t work at all and with no phone signal it meant no internet access, which was frustrating. The room was very hot with no real way to cool it other than opening the window, which wasn’t ideal on the ground floor. The shower kept swinging between hot and cold, and the room itself felt quite small considering the high price. Overall, a lovely setting but the stay was let down by some practical issues.

My 10 year old son and I love this hotel, as it’s a fabulous location just off the M40 on the way back from days out in London when we can’t face the whole journey in one go! The staff are fabulous and went above and beyond at Christmas 2022, facilitating my son’s elf to appear at breakfast-priceless!☺️ The rooms are huge and immaculate, the breakfast is tasty and plentiful and the pool, sauna and steam room are perfect before starting back in the journey home. We’ve been twice and shall return.
