Jiangsu, Cina: hotel romantici

Siamo venuti a Suzhou appositamente per il weekend per assaggiare i loquat bianchi di Dongshan. Questa volta non abbiamo scelto il Dongshan Hotel, ma siamo tornati indietro di un'ora per scegliere il Wugong nel centro città. Era la prima volta che venivamo qui e ci è stata assegnata una camera al primo piano. La hall era al terzo piano, quindi dovevamo prendere l'ascensore fino al primo piano e poi fare un bel po' di giri per trovare la camera. Con due anziani, è stato un po' scomodo. Tuttavia, la mia famiglia ha concordato che l'ambiente dell'hotel è molto caratteristico e ha deciso che la prossima volta a Suzhou sceglieremo di nuovo il Wugong (e mi hanno chiesto specificamente di prenotare una camera al terzo piano) 😁 È la stagione della maturazione dei loquat e le due piante di loquat nel cortile sono perfettamente a tema. Tra le pareti bianche e i tetti grigi, i loquat pendono dai rami. Posizione molto comoda per visitare la città e le zone caratteristiche, personale cordiale, stanza effettivamente comoda e bella, dotata di tutto. Letto comodo. Purtroppo la vista “città o cortile” in realtà non era una vista, ma la finestra dava su un muro. La cosa più spiacevole è stata il cattivo odore che saliva dallo scarico del lavandino. Dopo un po’ ci si abitua, ma comunque non è gradevole.

If you visit Yangzhou, this is the only hotel I recommend anyone to stay at. It has the gorgeous Chinese garden that spreads out for miles. I stayed in building 3 (the only building offered on the internet when I booked). The hotel is connected (walk over the bridge) to the Slender Lake. Staff were very courteous and helpful. My room was tidied up everyday. Breakfast was not include in the room rate but there is a Starbuck nearby where I had my morning coffee and pastry. The room has a balcony, overlooking some trees and other building. Most of the restaurants/eateries were closed (probably due to low season). However, there are a lot of local restaurants in the old town area and Guan Dong Street; it costs about 10 Yuans to take a taxi to get there.

Such good value for what your get - luxurious huge room, central location and 24hr service and cleaning. The concierge is on the 15th floor and a bit hidden. Note: there’s no gym, pool, room service, buffet breakfast etc but that’s why it’s such good value!!!

L'arredamento interno mostra i segni del tempo, e c'è un solo ascensore, ma le camere sono controllate in modo smart, la pulizia è buona e il letto è confortevole. La posizione è ottima, a meno di 200 metri dalla stazione della metropolitana e dalle fermate dell'autobus. In taxi, ci vogliono solo 16 yuan per arrivare al Giardino dell'Amministratore Umile. Di fronte all'hotel ci sono un ristorante di noodles di manzo e un negozio di baozi che sono davvero deliziosi. Voglio fare un plauso speciale ai due giovani e gentili impiegati alla reception (un ragazzo e una ragazza) che erano di turno il giorno 27: il loro servizio è stato caloroso e sincero, e molto attento. Dato che viaggiavamo con un bambino, ci hanno gentilmente offerto un upgrade della camera. Sono molto grato e soddisfatto.

Posizione nel centro di Nanchino. L'ambiente e il servizio dell'hotel, così come i piatti del ristorante (sia cinesi che occidentali), erano freschi e ricchi. La governante Cora è stata particolarmente calorosa e premurosa. Ha chiesto in anticipo quali fossero le mie esigenze, ha organizzato una camera panoramica ai piani alti, ha offerto bevande speciali e ha fornito una descrizione dettagliata dei servizi dell'hotel e di alcune attrazioni di Nanchino. Inoltre, ha inviato promemoria tempestivi sui servizi dell'hotel in diversi momenti della giornata, permettendomi di godere appieno della gioia del viaggio e della sensazione di tornare a casa. Ringrazio l'InterContinental Hotel e Cora per il loro servizio a cinque stelle!

Staff was extremely helpful and service was prompt. They helped us to carry all our luggages up to the second floor and they were extremely warm while hosting. We booked a family room and the room was very big and very clean, although I felt that the shower/toilet could be brighter as the lights was a little dim, and hoped that it could be more clean. The outside rooms were great though. Heating worked fine and our trip was kept warm throughout. Loved the bathtub and it was most importantly clean. Overall loved our stay and hope to come back again next time.

Ottima posizione, proprio sulla Shilu Pedestrian Street, vicino alla stazione della metropolitana e alle fermate degli autobus. Anche Shāngtáng Street è vicinissima, è comodissimo tornarci a piedi dopo una passeggiata serale! Il servizio alla reception è stato eccellente, il personale è molto proattivo nell'aiutare a risolvere qualsiasi problema e ci hanno persino dato un piccolo regalo al momento del check-out.

A very good stay so far and it was made exceptional by two outstanding staff members. 刘玉 at Reception provided a wonderfully warm and offering excellent local tips. Her helpful attitude continued throughout my stay. 夏幸福 (Breakfast & Room Service) was incredibly attentive and cheerful. Her proactive and thoughtful service, whether in the dining room or delivering a meal, consistently enhanced my experience. They are truly the hotel's greatest asset. In fact, their excellent service is the reason I chose to extend my stay from an initial 3 nights to 10 nights, and perhaps even further.
