Ci sono piscina all'interno della camera d'acqua calda e spa e il nostro bambino molto felice, ma l'atteggiamento del personale è un po' meno gentile, tutti gli altri possono accettare la colazione e è delizioso

Service is excellent! I absolutely love the idea of shuttle bus service as it is slightly away from the central area. The front desk arranged my luggage to be placed in the room upon my arrival. The room itself is clean and tidy. They play harp, and give away free cotton candy in the afternoon. I made two seperate bookings and enjoyed both room style.

Nestled in superb locations, the hotel offers not only convenience but also serenity.The staff’s service was beyond impeccable, the room exuded cleanliness and order, and the overall ambiance created an idea setting for both relaxation and deep concentration.

Pleasant-appearing hotel. Staff generally friendly. However we were unable to get dinner in the main restaurant on the evening we arrived, because of some social event. Thankfully a member of the lobby staff kindly left us in town in his car, as a mitigating action, at his own expense. As a resident of a 5 star hotel I would expect to be able to get dinner in the main restaurant after travelling all day. With children in tow we were disappointed, but grateful to that member of staff. The social event seemed to be more important than servicing the needs of resident guests. The lobby was quite cold to sit and have bar food. The Japanese restaurant wanted to ensure that we were aware that it was costly, and got the impression that they didn’t want to serve us. I understand that these things happen, but not in a 5 star hotel. The experience made us feel a bit dismissed, definitely not what a 5 star hotel should be making guests feel like. Also, the bar shut to residents at 10.30 on the Saturday night. The option was to go to my room, order room service, and stay there, not sure if I would have been allowed downstairs with a room service drink? The lobby was busy with residents after the international rugby match, and so it seemed odd that everything was being closed up so early, and giving resident guests no option to have a drink in the lobby after 10.30pm. Is there a concern of anti-social behaviour with residents of a 5 star hotel?I don’t have great expectations but this put me off, and I have no interest in sitting in my room having a drink. It just didn’t feel right for a 5 star hotel, and if paying residents want a drink after 10.30 they should be able get it. Weekends away are precious and this didn’t feel like a 5 star experience I’m afraid. Also, a plumbing problem meant that the toilets on the ground floor were not working and the shower in our room had very little water pressure to have a shower. I understand that these things can happen, but I’m afraid it just fed in to the prior experiences listed above. Thanks

Hotel molto bello con una buona posizione e parcheggio gratuito. Tuttavia, due richieste di riparazione del frigo non sono state realizzate in nulla. Ogni mattina, alle 8:00, un carro girerebbe anche fuori dalla mia stanza, facendo un sacco di rumore e svegliandomi.

I stayed at Auckland Harbour Suites for five days. Overall, the hotel offered a good location and comfortable facilities. However, I experienced an incident that I feel is important to share for the awareness of future guests. On the third day of my stay, I noticed that my insulated winter pants (thermal trousers) were missing when I wanted to use them. My wife and I searched the entire room thoroughly, including under the bed sheets, but we could not locate the item. We reported the matter to the front desk, and they acknowledged the issue and informed us that they would look into it. I also mentioned that I was not accusing any staff member and that there was a possibility I might have misplaced it. Despite continuing our search later that night, the item was still not found. The winter pants are quite bulky, padded, and lined with thick beige synthetic fur, making them easy to recognise and unlikely to be overlooked. When we returned to our room the following day, we found that the winter pants had been placed on the dining table. I took photos as evidence. Upon inquiry, the front desk informed us that the item had been found under the bed sheet. I found this explanation difficult to believe, as the pants are large and easily recognizable. While I chose not to argue further, I strongly suspect that the item had been taken out of the room and later returned. While I cannot determine exactly what happened and prove this without further evidence such as CCTV footage, I believe this incident serves as a reminder for guests to take extra care and be mindful of their personal belongings during their stay. I hope the hotel management will take this matter seriously to prevent similar experiences for future guests and to ensure that similar situations do not occur in the future.

La stanza era molto vecchia, aveva una fuga nel tetto della camera da bagno che era evidentemente esistente da anni, perché aveva un grande patch sopra di essa che cadeva. Il pavimento era estremamente slipperoso e c'erano alcuni capelli neri in tutto il pavimento del bagno. Il servizio era amichevole, ma si è preso un po'di carico dall'aeroporto.

Service was excellent! The free shuttle to and from the airport is so convenient, and it's very helpful for us travellers. The accommodation itself was okay, quite old but necessities are there. Would definitely stay again!

We just had an unexpectedly delightful experience at the Waiheke Island Motel, so much so that we added another night because we simply couldn't get enough of the place! Our stay began with a minor hitch: arriving late in the evening to find our pre-booked studio room was locked. However, the way the night manager and the team handled this was truly remarkable. They quickly resolved the issue by giving us a significant, stress-free upgrade to a spacious whole house with four bedrooms instead of our original studio. This immediate, generous response demonstrated exceptional hospitality and turned a potential frustration into the highlight of our trip. The motel's location is ideal; it offers a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet it's in very close proximity to both the shops and the beach. We appreciated the on-site pool and the spa options, and the minute's walk down to the community Saturday market was a fantastic bonus. Our only piece of constructive feedback relates to the spa itself—unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which was a slight disappointment. Despite the minor issue with the spa, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodation, and prime location mean we had a fantastic trip. Crucially, the price was quite reasonably priced compared to other places on Waiheke, offering excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Waiheke Island Motel!
