The room was very nicely set up. We had a kitchenette to prepare food if we chose to. The only thing missing in the kitchen was a bottle opener. The hotel staff provided us with one. Everyone was friendly. We had an upper floor room which provided a wonderful view of the city. Very convenient location. To shopping and eating.

L'hôtel est vraiment fantastique, un peu vétuste car bâtiment historique, il manque une touche de modernité, c'est évident, mais il est bien entretenu et très joli. Une piscine dans la cour, entourée d'un jardin exotique, pour passer des heures de fainéantise allongé sur un transat avec une Margarita à la main. Les chambres spacieuses et la literie commode. Les oreillers pas très bons, j’avoue. Le Personnel vraiment attentif, super aimable, très gentils, ils méritent ma reconnaissance. La cuisine je ne recommande pas, en réalité c’est un désastre. J’ai commandé une entrée et un plat et ils m’ont tout amené au même temps. C’est une cuisine au microondes, le poulet sauce béchamel (il devait être un poulet nain), raide et sec, j’avais demandé sans sauce et ils ont mis une chose blanchâtre, liquide, avec des grumeaux, que je n’ai pas réussi à déterminer. La soupe d’haricots sans aucun intérêt, de la purée en boite diluée et réchauffée (au microondes aussi). Les Frites surgelées, évidement. Une petite serviette en papier, bas de gamme, juste pour moucher la trompe d’un moustique, contraste avec des nappes en tissu blanc sur les tables de la salle à manger.

Considerando la classificazione dell'hotel, mi aspettavo un miglior servizio. Non era un cattivo servizio ma non in coppia con altri hotel 4/5 stelle ho fatto visita in tutto il mondo. La stanza era pulita e confortevole, anche se l'interno è un po' obsoleti. Probabilmente scelgo di rimanere altrove la prossima volta per il prezzo.

We booked 2 nights here via AmX travel desk. We (kids) were disappointed to discover that the pool was closed down. We assume AmX were not informed. They had an agreement with a pool near by, but it looked pretty bad. We tried to leave after one night to WestIn down the road, which had much better amenities (at a slightly higher price point). We were told this was not possible without paying a penalty. The room was also dated; bathroom was very old and a/c in the room was ineffective. On a positive note, Markets restaurant was excellent (see separate review). Staff were also helpful.

I loved my hotel room. The hotel staff were friendly but the restaurant staff were not very friendly. The pool was nice but could be cleaner. Nice neighborhood with lots of food options nearby. Super close to airport. Don't take the hotel shuttle though. I paid for shuttle and they just called me an Uber! I could have saved 20 bucks.

The Holiday Inn is in a save neighborhood where you can find excellent restaurants, bars and cafes. Rooms are big and comfortable, clean and have a great service, but I was missing a fridge. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of dishes and even if a longer stay you will find different options every day. For me it was of the best buffets in my trip through Central America. The staff in the restaurant is very friendly and attentive and offer an excellent service. Besides generally an excellent service, I had a negative experience at the front desk where they had lost my laundry. Even after two days I didn´t receive it and one member of the staff even indicated that I never turned it in. I needed to ask for the manager to resolve the issue. Mr Fernando, the manager was very nice, and without his support I probably wouldn't have gotten my laundry before heading to the airport. Thank you very much again!

I've been a loyal customer, staying at this hotel on average twice a year for the past 25 years. Yes, that includes the period prior to the hotel being a Hilton. The last time I stayed I had an issue with the reception desk, but now it was worse. Turns out that I was ”upgraded” to a Jr. Suite, something I didn't want because most of the upgraded rooms face the loud highway. I explained that I preferred a garden facing room regardless of the upgrade, but they couldn't accommodate me because they had no availability of those rooms. So, I accepted the upgrade, but because the room wasn't ready, I left telling the front desk that I would be back later that night. I came back close to 9:00pm to find that indeed my room was facing the highway, but then the surprise...the room had no windows! Oh yes, there was glass where windows were supposed to be, but they were frosted or white. Needless to say, you couldn't see out and it felt like a cave! Well, it was late so I decide to go to sleep and deal with it in the morning. Morning came, I went to the front desk and told them how unhappy I was and that the room was unacceptable and that I wanted to leave given that they couldn't accommodate my request. Well, to my surprise they were going to charge me the penalty for checking out early. I explained that it was not my fault, that they should check with the manager. They then offered a room next to the elevator which I declined. Explaining that it was okay if they had no availability, and that I would just leave. No issue, those things happen and I would be back another time. I went back to the room to gather my bags came back to the front desk to check out and yes, the manager had said NO to my request to not charge the penalty so I had to pay the $25 plus tax. What a stupid move by the hotel, after 25 years, they had lost a client for $25. Amazing! Of course I will never stay at the hotel ever again and will do what I can to tell everyone my story.

L'hotel stesso è buono, ragionevolmente vicino all'aeroporto; questo è essenziale a causa del traffico terribile durante le ore di fretta in questa città sovraccarica. Ma non mangiare qui. Il loro ristorante sarà probabilmente noto come il peggiore Western Plus presto. I stayed two nights in this hotel with a small tour group. We’d just spent two nights in a small B&B in Copan Ruinas I enjoyed the contrast between the two. This is a high-rise with gym, refrigerator in the room, diligent housekeeping and reasonably-priced room service. I wasn’t feeling well the first morning and put out the Do Not Disturb sign. In the early afternoon when I was feeling better, they actually called and asked if I wanted housekeeping service! I did so they sent someone up. I got room service the night before-Shrimp taquitos a la diabla. They arrived piping hot and were very good. I didn’t check out the gym. Breakfast buffet was the largest and most varied of any on the trip so far. I felt bad that I’d missed the first day due to not feeling well! Restaurants of every type available in walking distance. Just watch the traffic if you’re on foot!

Quando gli ospiti si fermano, iniziano a pulire l'igiene.Lascia che gli ospiti si alzino il normale tempo di attesa quando si fermano. Per la mia prima stanza, fuori dalla finestra è un flusso d'aria in un giardino interno, non c'è bisogno di dire...Vai alla reception per cambiare la stanza, un'altra leadership femminile e entusiasmo sono molto meglio di un primo staff femminile, ma possono rimanere in attesa della preparazione della stanza. Il tempo per me è quasi otto a sera.Devo chiedere: un hotel a cinque stelle non pulisce la stanza dopo l'ora?Vuoi fare la pulizia prima che venga l'ospite?
