Hotel on the beach - courteous reception staff. Rooms are clean. Some rooms do not have safe box - some rooms do not have min fridge. No gym no swimming pool no spa. Basically this is 3 to 3.5 star hotel. I do not know why classified as 4 star hotel. The breakfast is very good. The staff are very friendly and polite. Specially the lovely old lady. There is no salad on breakfast. The cold meat and cheese corner should contain more varieties. There is only one cheese item and for the cold meat only one ”ham” item.

It’s a rare and special occasion when you experience such extraordinary service, and while we’re often quick to share our frustrations, today I want to celebrate a positive experience. This week, I arrived at the Village Hotel Swansea around 8:30 in the evening, only to discover that I had mistakenly booked for the following week. Despite the late hour and what had clearly been a demanding day, Bex, at the front desk, demonstrated remarkable patience and professionalism. Upon realising my error, she immediately set out to help, even though there was no availability at the hotel that night. Bex took it upon herself to contact four nearby hotels, searching tirelessly for a place for me to stay. As a final effort, she reached out to Premier Inn—a venue not typically contacted in these situations—and through her warmth and professionalism, she secured their very last available room for me. If Bex happens to read this, I want her to know how deeply appreciative I am for her kindness, dedication, and genuine commitment to helping me during a challenging moment. She turned what could have been a stressful situation into a reminder of the power of compassionate service. This experience underscores the importance of acknowledging and sharing stories of exceptional service. When people go above and beyond, as Bex did, it truly deserves our gratitude and recognition. Thank you, Bex, for your outstanding support.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel molte volte, ma ora ha bisogno di un riparatore. Le aree sembrano tutte stanche, tra cui la camera da letto e il bagno. Abbiamo una camera superiore che guardava il lago, ma una finestra era completamente vaporizzata e bloccava alcune delle viste. Il bagno non fluscirebbe correttamente e i corridoi sono tutti scruffi. Il personale è molto amichevole e il colazione è eccellente. Molte scelte. Parcheggio facile Quindi molti punti buoni.

Easy location and plenty of parking. Staff were pleasant and room was clean. Air conditioning not advertised but a fan was provided when I asked on arrival. I had a room overlooking the car park which was a bit quieter than overlooking the main route into Swansea.

Siamo così grati all'intera squadra del Re Arthur per aver fatto tutto quello che sognavamo di essere.

The room, the service, the treats and of course, the hot tub on the balcony made for the best night ever!! The Welsh breakfast ...in bed, topped it all off.... The staff were amazing couldn't do enough for you, my husband had the best birthday treat! And the Welsh weather was beautiful ❤️

We stayed in the townhouse, lovely large room on the 2nd floor, really tastefully furnished, huge bathroom. The shower was amazing, love the 2 shower heads and bath was an added luxury. So rare to have such well appointed rooms, nespresso machine was a treat. Housekeeping staff were friendly and polite when I met them in corridors and the communal areas were so clean and well kept. We did make use of the hotel bar, ideal on a busy Friday night. Some noise travelled between the rooms/floors but nothing that affected our sleep or our enjoyment of our break away. A beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. Walking distance for Swansea arena events and lovely places to sit and people watch at the marina
