Enjoyed our 1 night stay. Room was clean, staff friendly. Did not eat but the food in the bar looked nice and was reasonably priced. Would happily stay again. View from our hotel room.

We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The staff members are exceptionally helpful and kind, making our anniversary truly memorable. Their genuine care and attention to detail towards guests exemplify exceptional hospitality. ❤️👍🏻 The front desk team, particularly Jimmy, was incredibly nice and charming.

Buon hotel, ma caotico durante il periodo di colazione.Il personale è ingrato ma in buoni spiriti Letto confortevole e pulito. Non troppo affettuoso su sapone liquido, ma è solo una opinione personale. In generale un buon soggiorno

La struttura è a buon mercato, ma le camere sono tranquille, il desk è amichevole e gentile, le camere sono abbastanza pulite e la velocità WI-FI è perfettamente accettabile. La camera disponeva di un letto senza fogli e una vasca da bagno, e il parcheggio dell'hotel è costretto a 10 sterline.

Great hotel and perfect for taking a cruise. They have a welcome cocktail and coffee in the morning both at the bar. For free. The rooms are small but not uncomfortably so. They have a kettle in the room with coffee, tea and milk. There is a huge shopping mall with a theater within a 2 minute walk

Ho vissuto in questo hotel per giorni, e in generale, la mia esperienza è molto piacevole.La posizione dell'hotel è molto conveniente, vicino al centro della città e ai punti di trasporto pubblico, quindi posso raggiungere facilmente ogni posto della città. Inoltre, ci sono molti ristoranti e negozi intorno all'hotel, che mi rende molto conveniente. La mia stanza è molto pulita e comoda, il letto è molto morbido e la testa è molto comoda.Le strutture della stanza sono anche complete, con TV, mini frigo e caffè, che mi fa sentire molto comodo.La camera da letto è anche molto pulita, fornisce tutti i requisiti, come lavatrice di capelli, guardia capelli e rivestimento. In generale, le strutture nella stanza sono molto buone, mi sento molto comodo e soddisfatto.

Helpful and polite staff. Very big double room. Spacious and comfortable and clean room. Easily accessible location of the hotel.

We reserved a harbour view room - this view also happened to include a not so nice view of an untidy utility/loading bay area! Room was old and needed binoculars to see the TV it was so small. After a visit to the pool, we came back to the room to no hot water and were told this was because all the other guests were using it! After waiting about an hour and several calls to the reception from our own phones as there was no phone in our room, finally went in person to sort it out and we were moved to another much nicer room where the hot water was working. This room was at the back of the hotel with no view. We had dinner in the Waterside restaurant, had to send the lamb steak back to the kitchen as it was undercooked. Overall it was an average hotel, not sure we'd stay here again especially on a special occasion. Photo is of the second room's view.

L'hotel è situato vicino alla strada ad alta velocità. Lo stile è semplice come un motel, circondato da McDonald's, caffè e un piccolo supermercato, e le strutture di vita sono complete.Anche se non c'è un senso di lusso, è pulito e confortevole, abbastanza da soddisfare le esigenze di una notte di riposo. Per gli ospiti di visita, è una scelta conveniente e pratica di alloggio.

Booked a room and called to request an extra bed. All agreed. At arrival, staff insist no extra bed and couldn't care less as I was told ”well there's nothing we can do”. Appalling service for such a big hotel.

L'hotel è in una buona posizione, vicino al terminal crociere e ai centri commerciali, quindi è molto comodo per mangiare, bere e divertirsi. Anche il servizio dell'hotel è molto premuroso e il personale è cordiale. Continuerò a considerare di soggiornare qui la prossima volta!

Decided to book this Novotel as a place to stay for a couple of nights in Southampton for some wedding celebrations. We have previously visited this hotel approx 22 years ago as we had our wedding held at this hotel. So we were familiar with the hotel location and surroundings as we frequently visited Southampton centre for many years over the past 22 years. The location is ideal if you are arriving by coach and train. The coach station is literally on the door step of this hotel , approx 500/600 metres away. The train station is also within walking distance too. You really are in the centre within walking distance of the main shopping centre , the West Quay .John Lewis entrance is only a 10 min walk from this hotel which takes you into the West Quay shopping centre. Novotel has a car park , which is shared with 2 other hotels at this location , including an Ibis hotel. There are plenty of spaces to park, however we arrived off season and I can imagine during the cruise season it can get busy. My only grievance with Novotel is, we booked through the Novotel website and it does say on there that parking is available however you have to pay £10 per night to park your car there. Upon arrival, you just speak with the checking in staff, provide them with your car registration number & they simply register it on their system and you pay them at the counter for your parking.So £20 on top of your hotel booking as we were staying for the 2 nights. We decided not to book any breakfast as on your doorstep is a McDonald’s…literally at the car park entrance….there is also an IKEA store 5 minutes walk from the hotel. You can see it from the hotel rooms.since the hotel is alongside the major road alongside the port, you can walk along there to IKEA and towards the pier.if you’re really lucky , you can admire one of the large cruise liners berthed up…we did , you could look at it from the hotel car park.There is also a TGI Fridays restaurant across the car park entrance at this location and a small retail park with a few shops like Poundland etc. The checking in process was seamless and we got the lift to our room which was one of the top floors. The room was pretty large ..we had a king size bed and a large double sofa bed open for our 2 teenage kids. The room had pretty well insulated windows with some really good blackout curtains. The tv was a decent size and the room also boasts a small fridge with some complimentary bottles of water. There is also a small safe which you can change the lock number on however I’m not sure how secure it can be as these budget safes are battery operated with a manual overide key., but they’re handy if you want to place some small items in there like your car keys etc. I wouldn’t be leaving anything particularly valuable in there or your passports if you’re staying here prior to your cruise….you’re better keeping them with you. The overall ambience of our room was warm welcoming relaxing and comforting which is what you want to

Che esperienza fantastica e magica!!! Abbiamo amato tutto! Abbiamo trovato questo posto per caso durante il nostro viaggio stradale e non mi aspettavo di rimanere in un luogo così speciale e storico. Anche il colazione era delizioso. Grazie!

Great hotel, recommend the activities, great for couple and friends. Tennis, Shooting disks and can fish in the nearby lake. The sushi restaurant was a bit slow getting out the food but other than that was great. The staff were friendly and took great care of us. The afternoon tea was amazing, and one of the staff recommended us the train station to get to London which was better than the car ride there.
