酒店非常漂亮，距離海克利爾城堡35分鐘車程。很有歷史感。設施也很好，除了沒有空調，房間有點悶，但這是沒有辦法的事情。酒店旁邊就是廣袤的莊園，草坪、鮮花、樹木都很漂亮，早餐也非常美味。希望有機會再來

Difficult to sleep because the pillows were too bulky and incompressible and the room was too hot.  I turned the radiator to minimum but it took hours to  cool ( I could have opened the window.)

Breakfast at the weekend doesn't start until 8.00am. We were playing a Pickleball Tournament on their Acrylic tennis courts and needed to digest our food before running around! The hot items weren't all out which was irritating. Bacon, sausages and eggs were missing. As soon as the eggs arrived they were gone because everyone was queuing. If it says breakfast starts at 8.00, then it should all be available on time! Pools are great, (one specifically for children and one for adults. Sporting facility was excellent. Free parking for hotel guests. Bedroom was very clean and had everything one needed. No air con, but fan in cupboard. Magnifying mirror, iron & board, hairdryer. I had to stay at the hotel to continue playing my tournament, but wanted to have a last swim to ease my muscles before driving home in a terrible heatwave. They said check out had been at 11.00am and I would have to pay £10! I thought that was rather steep so declined. There was hardly anyone in the pool and a small kind gesture after paying for 2 nights would have lifted my spirits and given a better impression. The pool was also only open from 8.00am. Far too late if people want a swim before breakfast. Dogs seem to be allowed at the hotel in the bedrooms. 4 yapping dogs in one room is a bit much. Awful for the cleaners and I put the TV on to mask the noise! Drinks and food quite expensive. Great Indian in the village! It was great though being able to stay at the actual venue for the tournament. Cheaper through Trip com than the Tournament offer rate!

I had a great time at the Hotel and Spa - all of the facilities were clean and appealing. I loved the art deco feel and the spa was amazing - spacious and well maintained. All staff members that I encountered were pleasant and helpful. Great location for train station and town. My only suggestion would be to make the bar more appealing, perhaps subtle showing of some sports or entertainment - with so many other local pubs and bars there was nothing to keep me in the hotel bar.

Abbiamo soggiornato in hotel a molte occasioni, ma questa volta abbiamo chiesto una speciale stanza per il nostro soggiorno una settimana in anticipo, che è stato confermato durante una conversazione telefonica, solo per essere informato all'arrivo che non era disponibile. Molto deluso

It was a great experience for us as a family, I have to booked 2 rooms to accommodate the family of four, everything was absolutely fantastic. Kids enjoyed the food. It was 9/10 stars for all, except that it took us so long to wait for the room that was interconnected with the other room. I was told at first that it was interconnected but then when we went in there it wasn’t. huge thanks to Ms. Nadia from the front desk who was there to help us and got everything sorted for 10 minutes. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly 😊 we will definitely be back again.

A repeat visit to Norton Park Spa Hotel. I really enjoy the peaceful location with beautiful grounds where you can walk through woodland or sit on a swing gazing out at the lake. The spa is perfectly acceptable - no idea why some have left bad reviews. Great sauna and steam room, plus real ice pile and strong, cold (or hot) shower available close to these two facilities which is great extra. Pool is big enough to swim laps (not just a token effort) and there are couple of heated, tiled loungers pool side too. I treated myself to a treatment of back massage and full body exfoliation with oil application, which was absolutely wonderful. Relaxation room after the treatment was welcome touch. I have used spas across the world at top hotels and this was up there with the best. Restaurant is really high quality, certainly above my expectations of British hotel catering. The breakfast buffet has everything you could require - although it is self-service on the tea/coffee which I'd rather have served to table - plus you can order extras for free, like poached eggs and porridge, which are then cooked to order. There are also some pay-for extras if required. Dinner was even more fantastic - have eaten there four times in two stays and cannot fault.

Abbiamo avuto un ottimo tempo all'Old Thorns Hotel & Resort celebrando il weekend di compleanno della mia fidanzata. L'intero posto è bellissimo, la decorazione è stupenda, con belle immagini in tutto questo rendendolo sia domestico che lussuoso allo stesso tempo. Le strutture e la sala da bagno erano eccellenti, e il giovane al bar era particolarmente amichevole e ci ha fatto delle bevande grandi, le camere erano spaziali, le docce erano fantastiche, e il campo da golf era bellissimo e ben mantenuto. L'unica area che penso possa essere utile un po' di miglioramento è la selezione del colazione. Ci sono stati frutta, pane, yogurt, uova e gli oggetti di solito per un colazione inglese, ma dopo essere rimasti più di una notte, sarebbe stato bello avere più varietà come pancake o altre opzioni per il colazione per cambiare le cose un po'. Ho anche pagato un premio per il pacchetto di compleanno. Mentre non mi aspettavo niente di stravagante, si sentiva un po' ingannante per il prezzo di 15 sterline, essenzialmente contenendo palloni, un piccolo orso di tessuto, alcuni cioccolatini e una carta, che era esattamente quello che mostrava nelle foto. A parte questo, tutto era perfetto e abbiamo avuto un ottimo soggiorno.

L'hotel è in una posizione tranquilla e è un edificio molto bello. La stanza era pulita e piacevole, ma non era proprio quello che mi aspettavo. Grazie al viaggio ho pensato di aver prenotato una stanza dalla più piccola opzione, ma purtroppo non ho avuto! Il letto è stato annunciato anche come doppio standard, non è certamente nelle camere più piccole, è un doppio piccolo, e questo rende il sonno un po' scomodo per due. La stanza era anche molto calda, anche se abbiamo spentato il radiatore e avevamo la finestra aperta tutta la notte, ma penso che sia solo perché è un edificio più vecchio, risalgono al calore, ecc. La piscina ha davvero bisogno di TLC. E'molto sveglio e ci siamo sentiti davvero lasciare giù l'hotel.È vergognoso come è un bel posto - anche un rapido lick di pittura lo riporterebbe alla vita se il denaro non permette una manutenzione più grande. Il personale era molto amichevole, soprattutto i due che servivamo al ristorante per cena. Il cibo era buono, ma un po' troppo costoso, ma il servizio era pronto per questo. In tutto per un rapido fermo di notte era buono.
