Regno Unito: hotel con piscina nella provincia di Hampshire

Excellent service from staff. Hotel atmosphere outside is amazing. Inside is classic but could do with a little cozyness

Poiché non sono auto guidato, la posizione dell'hotel è un po' lontana dalla stazione ferroviaria di Southampton. Solo un'ora di autobus dell'hotel ha un'ora. Un po'inconveniente, ma la decorazione dell'hotel è completamente conforme ai miei requisiti. È molto storico che l'architettura inglese ha una piscina, La colazione è molto dolce nello spazio vecchio inglese come nuovo giorno.

Superficie polverosa nella camera e nel bagno, bid rustico. Uso una sedia a rotelle e la stanza era abbastanza grande per negoziare intorno e la stanza bagnata era adeguata, ma c'era una cabina che andava in bagno e usciva dalla stanza che era una lotta per la mia sedia a rotelle e alcune delle altre porte lungo i corridoi hanno anche dei bump. Ho detto al dipartimento di fronte, così spero che lo ordinino per i prossimi ospiti. Abbiamo messo una carta sulla porta chiedendo colazione in camera circa 10.30pm la notte prima, ma non è stato raccolto. Tuttavia, hanno prontamente fornito colazione quando ho ordinato la ricezione e mi hanno scusato e mi ha informato che avrebbe segnalato questo. In generale, ci sono parti che sembravano un po' date e che hanno bisogno di un po' di più attenzione e di attenzione, come la ridecorazione. Non abbiamo visto l'intero edificio, ma spero che le camere di funzione per le nozze ecc siano di migliore qualità, forse qualcuno può verificare? Il letto era comodo e abbondante con le mutandine e gli asciugamani. Il colazione era bello. Il bagno era congelato quando entrammo, nessun radiatore, ma avevano un ventilatore elettrico Dyson che riscaldava la stanza dopo un po'. Io rimarrei qui, ma prima chiamerei per vedere se avevano ordinato il bagno prima.

We stayed for 1 night at this hotel. The room was lovely and staff were friendly. I requested a room with a bath which we got. However there was no plug in the bath so it wouldn’t fill up. The reception was helpful at getting us a new plug tho. We also used the swimming pool which was lovey and very clean. Overall a good experience.

Sebbene l'hotel sia un po' vecchio, l'hardware, i servizi igienico-sanitari e l'ambiente sono abbastanza buoni. Ma il servizio è davvero impotente, soprattutto i responsabili dei vari reparti. Fondamentalmente non ci tornerò mai più. Ho anche una nuova comprensione delle quattro stagioni.

Few niggles but fantastic stay overall especially the Spa service! Didn’t order food or try the restaurant so can’t comment on that. Toilet facilities fully equipped with essentials you might be missing, like toiletries for women, dry shampoo and deodorant. I’ve never seen this at any other hotel I’ve stayed in, so it’s a nice touch! Close to the station which is a bonus, a little walk to the city centre with plenty of places to eat.

Pleasant room. Only stayed for 8 hours in total, so did not use any of the hotel amenities. Decor is looking a little worn but far from outdated and dilapidated. Bedroom was a fair size and tidy. Tea/coffee supplies, bottled water, hairdryer, iron, soap/shampoo/shower gel. The only thing thing letting the stay down was the bed. The frame felt a little unstable and the mattress felt very ‘bouncy’ and cheap. I still managed to sleep ok but I have slept in much more comfortable beds at basic hotels. Overall, for the amount I paid, it was well worth the stay.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Fareham Solent. Fir this location a car would be ideal. There is a Shell Petrol Station not too far. All staff are friendly, always with a warm smiles. They offered me free parking. So if you do come by car don't forget to log vehicle registration details on the portal at the Front Desk (Check In). Breakfast was excellent choice of vegetarian or non vegetarian (healthy options available). Our room was on ground floor there was some draught coming through the window so I mentioned to the staff. Sadly the Jacuzzi was not working during our entire stay so (3 days). Lots of places to visit. I only gave 3 marks for amenities due to Jacuzzi not working. I highly recommend this hotel.
