La TV è grande e l'immagine è reale hd, non la solita lui TV ma non un segnale lui. La velocità di Internet è adeguata, potrei correre sul mio computer. I ristoranti sono a passeggiata, tra cui McDonalds, taco, Bennagins e Perkins (che ha un ottimo menu Senior). Il personale è amichevole. Molto meglio di quello che ho usato AirBB. E' un ottimo soggiorno.

Overall, this would be a good hotel property - not amazing - but good. However, the insanely bright flashing light of the smoke detector (compared to smoke detectors in dozens of other hotels rooms I've stayed in through years of work-related and recreational travel) requires a WARNING: Bring a sleep mask. Or you may want to pack some masking tape or duct tape to temporarily cover the bulb of the smoke detector (of course, without doing anything that would interfere with its operation). This may not be an issue if you are not a heavy sleeper or if you find flashing lights restful. Even sleeping in a position that faced away from the detector, the intense, flashing, green light (about every 10 seconds) lit up the ceiling, walls, and sides of the pillow. I've experienced issues with flashing smoke detector lights before - but none like this one. Who was the unqualified buffoon at Marriott who selected this model for a room intended for sleep?! Apart from this [significant, for me] flashing-light-in-room issue, the hotel was decent. It seemed safe and reasonably clean. The rate was reasonable. The front desk staff were professional and competent. Bedding was comfortable. The location is convenient for accessing nearby downtown Omaha. The setting is a little bland - in the middle of an area of parking lots and sports venues. You'll need a car to get to more interesting areas of Council Bluffs & Omaha for meals, etc. The soundproofing is not great. We could hear our neighbors TV clearly most evenings as well as noise in the hallways. The hotel provides coffee but does not offer tea - in the rooms or in the front lobby. I guess the same genius who saved money by buying a combo smoke detector/lighthouse decided that lowering service another notch in order to save $0.50 per guest (on tea) was a smart idea for a business in the hospitality industry. A final note on the smoke detector. The light bulb on this model illuminates both on the outside (like most models) but also (deviously!) within the inside of the plastic frame - and the frame has a big grating. So even if you put a small piece of tape or a band-aid on the exposed, outside part of the bulb, you will still get to see some flash from within the grating. With apologize to the reader if this review seems a bit obsessed with the smoke detector, but I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotel rooms and not experienced a flashing smoke detector light THIS intense before. My primary goal for my hotel room is sleep, and it boggles my mind that someone chose a model with a very bright flashing light for a hotel room. Come prepared.

My family (including a baby) were traveling west and stopped at the Holiday Inn in Des Moines along the way. The staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable and quiet. You could tell it was a bit older, but still very nice. We ordered from the restaurant, which was decent. I would not recommend it unless you wanted to stay close to the property for the evening. There are better options if you venture out a bit. I did experience an issue during my stay. Around 4 AM, while I was caring for my infant daughter I saw a mouse in our room. I went down to the front desk and alerted staff of the issue, and they informed me they encountered the issue on two other occasions primarily on the second and third floors. They offered to move us to another room, which we did. We were also offered free breakfast coupon, money off our bill, and additional rewards points. We did not receive the additional money off the bill or rewards points. After contacting the hotel about it, I did not receive a response. Overall, the hotel was quiet, comfortable and staff was friendly. However, I cannot recommend staying here until the rodent issue is handled.

The whole facility and the rooms smelled like a dirty diaper covered in baby powder. My room had old decorations from a previous party even in the coffee cups like they don’t even change out those. So much garbage u see the bed even instructions on how to put a bed frame together. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut it was like 1 inch gap that was still open. The shower had no water pressure and the tub was clogged, probably that diaper. My room had lightbulbs that were out and just a below standard of a room. The arcade had part carpet and part cement floor and just horrible lighting throughout. Not one of the workout machines worked in the fitness room, and that smell just lingered in there as well. But the worst part is the advertising on the website, those pictures are nothing at all compared to what the place looks like. They should a great place for a very crappy pool party and if you want to have 20 toddlers running up and down the hall while you’re trying to rest this is your place. Honestly just a joke!!!

Abbiamo avuto un po' di problemi di comunicazione tra l'hotel e trip.com per quanto riguarda il pagamento, ma hanno risolto rapidamente e il personale è stato veloce per sistemare le cose per noi! Abbiamo apprezzato sia la vasca idromassaggio che la piscina ed entrambi erano esattamente ciò di cui avevamo bisogno!! L'hotel era abbastanza lontano dal centro per essere tranquillo ma abbastanza vicino da rendere tutto accessibile. La cosa più importante che mi ha colpito è stata la disponibilità del personale. Consiglio assolutamente.

The hotel in general and room layout in particular screams “old school.” Elevator inconveniently situated at rear of property. Newer slimline furniture shoehorned into a small room. The tiny bathroom accommodates 1 medium sized person. Small flat screen tv with no HD. Oddly shaped chaise lounge is perfect to lay your clothes on (only). Mattress sagged noticeably on any movement. Checkin process went smoothly and the lobby and hotel room were very clean. Well lit parking lot.

Mia moglie e io siamo arrivati alle 4:00. Abbiamo ricevuto il benvenuto immediatamente, e abbiamo dato una camera da letto re al primo piano, affrontando il parcheggio. La nostra stanza era pulita e profumata. Non è una stanza enorme, ma ha funzionato per noi. Il bagno e la doccia hanno funzionato bene. La doccia era davvero molto potente. C'è una microonde e un frigorifero. La TV ha funzionato bene, con molti canali da scegliere. Non ho sentito molto rumore dalle camere circostanti, né dalla strada. Il parcheggio è grande, e ben illuminato alla notte. L'hotel è una pietra che getta via da una delle entrate ai campi dello Stato dell'Iowa. E Grand Avenue si dirige verso il centro. E' un modo semplice da andare direttamente al centro e indietro. Si conduce direttamente dall'edificio del Capitolo di Stato. La zona di servizio del colazione è piccola, ma funziona. Hanno fatto biscotti e sepolture disponibili. Abbiamo avuto una bella visita, e il prezzo era abbastanza decente. Ci rimarremmo.

Questo è un'esame per il bagno all'interno del resort. Mio marito e io abbiamo avuto un paio di massaggi con i terapeuti di massaggio, Eleia e Stephie. Non posso dire abbastanza buone cose su di sé e sulle strutture. Elia e Stephie si sono assicurati di chiedere più di una volta, c'è un'area che vuoi che torniamo indietro? Chi non vuole essere chiesto, prima che tu torni indietro e prima che il massaggio sia finito, cosa posso fare per assicurarti che tu sia rilassato? Dopo il massaggio, ci fu nuovamente incoraggiato a sederci e a rilassarci, e si sarebbe tornato a vedere come ci sentivamo, e se avessimo qualche domanda sul massaggio. Il mio terapeuta del massaggio ha detto che ho un punto crudo sulle sue spalle e ha detto che la scatola di piede che aveva usato era stata messo in avanti, se potessi beneficiare di questo prodotto, senza pressioni per comprare, le strutture erano pulite e divertite da entrambi. Sai come restare sempre a Hilton perché sai quale livello di qualità si aspetta? Allora questo non è l'hotel per te. Il mio consiglio è continuare a guardare. I miei figli e io abbiamo prenotato qui, a Bettendorf, IA, lungo il fiume da Moline, IL a causa della piscina (l'Axis in Moline, IL, è l'opzione Hilton-no piscina), siamo rimasti al primo piano la prima notte. Vi dico che l'aroma di zolfo, uova rotte, odore di rifiuti che permea circa le 4 p.m. è quasi insopportabile, e ciò che è insopportabile è la perdita della porta esterna che permea ripetutamente. Abbiamo cambiato le camere la seconda notte per rimanere al secondo piano e abbiamo avuto grandi speranze che fosse un respiro di aria fresca. Purtroppo, l'A/C non ha funzionato attraverso il termostat sulla parete. Era super freddo o super stufa tutta la notte. Il letto è stato rotto e con il movimento più piccolo ha fatto un alto rumore, rumore screening. La tecnologia manca con zero USB o USB-C hub. Questo Hilton è un Inn di Quality, al meglio.
