Comfy bed, large and clean room. Have common areas like shared kitchen at the residence. The residence is located next to the main block of the hotel. You have to walk outside for ~2min to travel to the main block if you would like to enjoy the hot spring / play at the game room / exchange for new towels. Hot spring is nice, with indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor one is with stunning sea view. There are snooker, table tennis, and other games in the game room for all guests.

Viaggiare vicino alla stazione JR e alla stazione di autobus a buon fine ai punti scenici. Solo alcuni per l'estero non taceno telefonare e parlare in alto nella zona della cabina. Spero che la squadra di servizio possa ricordare prima di entrare. Rimarrà in questo hotel quando viaggia a Wakayama. Grazie

La posizione è buona. È proprio sulla costa. Puoi guardare il mare dalla posizione all'aperto dell'hotel e ascoltare il suono delle onde di notte. È abbastanza rilassante. Lascia che Ctrip ti informi sull'orario di arrivo alla stazione di Katai. Quando arriva il momento, l'auto è già in attesa alla stazione. Se l'hotel non lo include, puoi anche chiedere a Ctrip di aiutarti a prenotare con l'hotel. Si consiglia vivamente di effettuare una prenotazione. Altrimenti, questo villaggio di pescatori non anche un minimarket. I negozi circostanti chiudono molto presto, il che è più costoso di Kotohira e Himi. La cena è 4400. Il pesce è abbastanza da mangiare. Sono molto pieno. Il gelato nel piccolo negozio che viene fornito con il hotel è delizioso. Ne ho mangiati tre. Si consiglia comunque di soggiornare qui, la prossima volta rimarrete qualche giorno in più durante le vostre vacanze, così vi rilasserete

The location is just fine for seeing museums, it’s just for eating options (including supermarkets) that it’s a bit out of the way. Microwave and vending machines on the ground floor. It’s a good value and glad I picked this for my 3 night stay.
I didn’t try the breakfast since it looked like it might be fully booked from the sign but I might have been misunderstanding what it was saying.

The location is great especially if you have JR pass, just a couple min from JR Wakayama st. Room is quite spacious well equipped. Breakfast is really good. We had difficulties with the aircon), there's no english signs, but below is the description, so we managed to cool the room). Front desk clerks were nice and helpful. Also, there's drink service at the lobby so you can refresh yourself with cold tea or lemon water before going outside.

È un hotel molto popolare con una piscina a sfioro con vista sull'Oceano Pacifico, un pediluvio, una sorgente termale al B1♨️ e una vasca all'aperto con vista mare. I letti nelle camere in stile giapponese vengono preparati in anticipo la sera e la trapunta scivola fuori dal copripiumino 😂 Si consiglia di pernottare e consumare due pasti. L'hotel offre un buffet interno, che non è costoso, ha una piccola varietà ed è sufficiente per mangiare. L'hotel offre anche il suo ramen, che richiede una coda e gli orari di apertura non sono fissi. Il pane è delizioso. Si consiglia di assicurarsi di scegliere il numero di persone al momento della prenotazione e di pagare il prezzo in hotel. Si basa sulla tariffa giornaliera della camera. A Osaka, Tokyo e Kyoto, il prezzo per bambino è solo di oltre 200 yuan, ma qui è parecchio di più 😂

UUtente ospite木造棟…どんなんか？と不安に思ってましたが外見は隣のボロい木造の建物（笑）ミシミシ音がする階段や廊下、避難器具設置場所と部屋の上にプレートがあり泊まる部屋を一度通り過ぎました（笑）
ドアはオートロックでは無く自分で鍵を閉めるタイプ。ドアを開けると内側に入るドアで何か靴やらスリッパの居場所ご微妙で直ぐ右にトイレが有りましたが奥に靴を置くとトイレの出入りが不便で手前に靴を置くと出入りが不便で（笑）
狭い一間を挟んで部屋に入ると、広い！角部屋で明るく景色は良い！1番心配していた布団も10cm位のマットレスがかましてあったのでベッドとあまり遜色ない寝心地！
臭い等は特に気になりませんでした
窓の真下は海だったので釣り出来そう（笑）。
ツッコミドコロ満載で私はボロい建物写真に撮りたいとネタにして面白かったけどラグジュアリーさを求めるならあまりオススメしません。
私的には意外とアリでした☺

PPinkozxcIt wasn't the most pleasant experience considering that the males n females had to share toilets and that some other rooms had private toilets n bath instead. And also the fact that the walls are super thin hence whomever is connected to your room if their loud or they don't like your voice volume than you might get kicked to the curb. It's a very frustrating experience for sure since it tests one's patience n ability to let go. It's training for the customers n monks alike. I met a Japanese friend here whom shared with me how rude the monks and the staff were to one another n I think that shows the quality of this place however we were pretty lucky as there was a male who spoke mandarin n a male who spoke English both quite well in this place n though the mandarin speaker was quite condescending towards the other monks, the English speaker was really nice n patient overall. He helped me out a lot since we couldn't communicate with the others n seemed to be the only customers that spoke English whom booked this place by ourselves, the others around seemed to have a guide n were usually in groups.
It's a unique experience n I recommend just staying for one night or going to the other temples. I went for the ajikan meditation at eko in temple n the service n cleanliness was on another level for sure. The food here was also really simple. Also a must see are the tomb area n the walk to kobold daishi temple. As a sensitive person, I felt the overwhelming love n presence and the cleanse of my heart of this amazing soul over there. To me, that was worth it. Remember to clean yourself with the water out front before going in.... and of course to the amazing fateful friendship that occurred for us with the jap-********* couple we met. It was the next fav of mine after the time spent in nara visitor center. That was truly magickal n how I wished we stayed longer there. But all was good cause the way I planned this trip made it so that we would have this fateful encounter to the end of our trip.

•I don't see the point in just choosing a room here. Be sure to get a superior Japanese-style room with an open air bath or even a bungalow, and definitely one with a sea view. Then you're guaranteed a complete experience.
•The hotel welcomes guests barefoot or in socks on tatami mats, a very pleasant and authentic experience.
•VIEWS!! Gorgeous panoramic views of the ocean.
•This is a traditional ryokan, so tattoos are not allowed, BUT I was immediately given tape to cover up the tattoos on my arms, and everything was fine.
•Delicious food, lots of delicious food! The breakfasts are especially amazing.
•The hotel offers a lot of complimentary drinks, and the after-onsen area has free ice cream and cold water. They serve local ramen from 10-11 PM also complementary.
•All the onsen are very clean and cool. Especially the male and female one, built into a cliff right on the ocean shore, has a view. By the way, they provide special clothing, so if you're shy, don't worry.
•There were no stink bugs. It's important to understand that this is nature, and insects are normal.
Cons: •Despite the fact that many foreigners stay here, there's almost no English navigation and the staff speaks very little English.
•There are only two private onsen, and the ryokan is huge; it was easiest to get the key to the private ones in the evening.
•The main dishes at the kaiseki dinner were surprisingly disappointing (dry rice and tasteless noodles), although the other dishes were very good.
•The onsen are closed from 10:00 to 15:00, so there's nothing to do during these 5 hours, especially if the weather is bad 😭
•The ryokan doesn't offer food other than breakfast and dinner and don’t have a restaurant, so if it rains or a typhoon, you'll have to go outside the hotel to find food.
Conclusion: If this is your first ryokan, it's probably better to choose a more tourist-oriented one.
If you want to fully immerse yourself in onsen culture and be captivated by the ocean, this is a great choice ☺️

Si dice che si trattasse di un progetto di ristrutturazione esterna.
Questa è una sistemazione termale ordinata.
L'onsen era nella media ma il riso era molto buono!
Vorrei anche ringraziare lo staff per essere stato attento a me come straniero in visita da solo per la prima volta.

UUtente ospiteWe stayed in this lovely family hotel for a night, we opted for room stay with dinner and breakfast. There's no shops or restaurant near by, so highly suggest to choose the stay with meals option, otherwise there's cooking facility within the room also, so I think it's possible to cook your own meal if necessary.
Location - the hotel is just round the corner of the famous Shirasaki Ocean Park, we even had a good view of the park from our room. There's parking space right in front of the hotel building, so it's very handy. We cycled to the Shirasaki Ocean Park then to the hotel, so it worked out perfect. There's a very steep slop going up to the hotel though, but it wasn't an issue for us as we pushed out bikes up.
Facilities - this is a family run hotel which believes was built a while ago, so can't compare it to all those new built hotels. The ”room” we stayed is more like a mini flat, it has a big kitchen, good sized bathroom with changing area, a separate toilet, a living room, bedroom and an extra ”sitting” area. The entire flat is in traditional Japanese style which we loved, and it has all facilities that made our stay comfortable. It also has coined washing machine and driers. We could even access to rooftop on the 4th floor to view the sunset. If you're looking for a quiet place to have quality time, then this is a good place to do so. There's also ”public bath” within the hotel, it's small but wasn't an issue for us. There's also shower and bath in the room also if you want some privacy.
Food - all food was cooked and prepared by the hotel owner, and she's a talented chef! Dinner was impressive, breakfast was standard.
The hotel owner is very friendly and lovely, it's definitely ”the place” to stay if you're visiting the area. We highly recommend it.

CCEL_LI was about to give bad reviews due to some poor check-in experience, but everything after check in is so good that compensates this journey.
First, the check-in process that brings me with bad experience: it is self-served and there is no any staff. By rights you should receive an instruction email with check-in PIN in advance, which I heard from other guests. However, I didn’t receive anything but Trip’s confirmation letter and I was unable to check in. And my sim card in Japan is just an internet card unable to make phone calls, which means I have no way to contact the hotel directly. My partner and I were desperately locked out of the hotel in the evening, after 7h hiking, with no other available hotel in the mountain. After waiting for over 1 hour, other guests helped us to enter the admin room where there is an ipad to call the hotel (why not make it available to guests without checking in?), and with the help of Trip’s agency, we finally checked in successfully.
Then here is the staying experience: so good that makes me almost forgive the poor check-in experience. Each room is a spacious individual house and ours has a garden for BBQ. The food is also self-served, with the cooking stuffs and ingredients in the fridge. It was unexpected that you need to cook yourself (I don’t think it was listed on room info when I booked it), but it’s not bad that Wagyu, chicken, and vegetables are served. The rooms are big and cozy, and you can do the laundry after hiking.
Everything is good about the hotel itself, just be aware of the self-checkin process and make sure you get the instructions before that.

Pagamos caro e tivemos que tomar o café da manhã no quarto, sem poder repetir super limitado a quantidade. O sonho que virou um pesadelo a comemoração de aniversário de 25 anos de casado com café da manhã com vista incrível foi por água abaixo, saí triste e revoltada! Não indico ! E por favor especifique esses detalhes aqui no aplicativo por gentileza! Minha nota para o hotel 2

GGeraldLim1Bellissimo Ryokan! La camera che ho soggiornato in aveva pavimenti tatami e letti occidentali. Le porte scivolano invece di aprire fuori come di solito. I bagni sono relativamente piccoli, ma la doccia aveva grande pressione idrica e temperatura! Non abbiamo fatto molto doccia perché... abbiamo fatto doccia al Onsen invece perché ci siamo trascorsi tempo! Il Onsen è tatuaggio-friendly come confermato dal controllo del personale, e l'acqua ha davvero avuto effetti di pulizia della pelle. Yukatas è disponibile in lobby per tutti gli ospiti, e il livello 2 ha un ristorante con microonde e macchina ghiaccio fuori per i pasti del konbini. Steep short hill up to the lobby, but if you drive then that's fine. Free to use outdoor BBQ area, but didn't have the chance to. Rooms were comfortable, sleep was good with minimal disturbance. Nota laterale: il mio sottovestimento è stato rubato al naso e non sono riuscito a trovarlo di nuovo, ma questo è un bel costo che valeva l'esperienza di Onsen. Se rimasi qui due notti, senza rimpianto, lo farei completamente di nuovo! Oh e la zona di Onsen ha numerosi cavi per immagazzinare i vostri beni, ma non i vostri gioielli!
