JJakub MikolajObsługa co prawda nie mówi po angielsku, ale dało się dogadać przy użyciu translatora. Użycie pralki kosztuje dodatkowe 500 JPY, ale wtedy w cenie są środki do prania. Całkiem ładny onsen, który rezerwuje się na 45 minut, pełni on również rolę prysznica, więc jeśli chcesz się wykąpać to i tak musisz go zarezerwować. Nam udało się to zrobić mailowo, za co jesteśmy wdzięczni, gdyż przyjechaliśmy dopiero po godzinie 19. Nie polecam natomiast śniadania - jest dość drogie, a do tego nie ma go zbyt dużo, ok. 1-2h po śniadaniu byliśmy już głodni.

CcometdebrisI stayed at Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace for 5 nights booking though Trip.com. Be warned that problems may occur when booking through travel websites such as this one. I booked a standard room with no meals. What I did not know however, was that this reservation did not include any room cleaning services for the entire stay, no taking of garbage or towel replacement, no bed making, nothing at all. When I contacted the travel website to show my disappointment, they immediately contacted the hotel requesting a full refund. I did not expect a full refund for my entire stay. What I did expect, was for someone to acknowledge the fact that this important piece of information should have been indicated someone on the online reservation confirmation. Neither the travel site nor the hotel would acknowledge this.
The travel site replied with a response from the hotel, saying that I was a regular guest and knew about this “regulation”. It’s true, I have visited Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace on several occasions when housekeeping services were not included. However, this was clearly indicated on the reservation, and I stayed during the COVID STATE OF EMERGENCY, when it was standard practice for many hotels to exclude cleaning services. My recent stay was at the beginning of August, WHEN THE STATE OF EMERGENCY AND COVID RESTRICTIONS HAD BEEN LIFTED. It is no longer standard practice to exclude cleaning services at hotels in Japan.
The hotel stated that I visited the front desk every day to get towels and never mentioned the need to clean the room. This is untrue. I only came to the front dest 2 times during my stay, and this is because room cleaning staff entered my room on 2 occasions, so I was expecting them to clean or take out the trash, but they did nothing and left. I expected them to return, however, they never did. The bottom line is the hotel is responsible for communicating their services to customers, especially after covid restrictions have been lifted. Blaming guests for their lack of communication is completely unprofessional.
Now in regards to the hotel itself, I have stayed here on several occasions, I find it to be perfect, mainly because of the location and modest room size. The hotel is conveniently located near Lake Ippeki (Ippekiko) and there is plenty of nature and a few trails in the area. You can step out the door and be on a simple hiking trail within minutes. It’s a very quiet area and very good for children and families. Though the hotel is dated, the rooms are all quite large and include a living room, kitchen with cooking supplies and dishes (but no forks or spoons), a large bath, and both Western and Japanese style bedrooms. Some may be discouraged by the age of the hotel (it’s quite old and could use some renovation), but if you don’t mind that, then I would highly recommend staying here. One point that I need to mention is in regards to the bedrooms. The hotel has replaced their blackout curtains with super thin curtains which allow sunlight to easily shine through. We were woken up at 5:00 am every morning because of the bright sunlight in our room. If you’re a light sleeper, please take note. I wish management would consider this. Also, it’s highly recommended that guests come by car, public transportation is very inconvenient in the area.
Overall, Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace is a very convenient place for a reasonable price. I will definitely be staying here again in the future, but hope that they act with a little more professionalism and consider the fact that the covid state of emergency ended long ago.

TThibault_tokyoVue mer splendide, grande piscine et personnel aimable. Nous sommes désormais en dehors de la pleine saison, donc après 17h tout est fermé. Le bar de la piscine est déjà totalement fermé, ce qui est dommage au mois d’août).
Les chambres sont un peu vieillottes mais le lit est confortable. La chambre « vue montagne » donne surtout sur le parking.
Point faible : une organisation qui met en stress permanent pour avoir une place — longues files dès 6h30 au petit-déjeuner, affluence au dîner, transats « réservés » à la piscine alors que les personnes n’y sont pas, forte affluence au onsen… Pas toujours reposant !

Il naso interno con il tanuki è eccellente, e l'esterno (aperto solo la mattina) - non per descrivere la parola, storia favolosa. All'alba, seduto in una fonte calda sotto il sacro e il cipriote quando il vapore ... è riempito
La stanza è spaziosa, con l'odore di una bella canna tornante. Le strutture della stanza, c'era un balcone. Puoi mettere un sedimento nella hall gratuitamente, anche il caffè. Dopo l'Onsen puoi prendere un ghiaccio di frutta gratuitamente

devo andare a punti di vista solo per vedere Fujisan. Il bagno è ben segregato e la camera è super grande e spaziosa che posso aprire i bagagli liberamente. Il bagno pubblico gratuito è sorprendente con diverse opzioni per il cibo e la sauna. La posizione è buona, proprio accanto alla partenza premium Gotemba, quindi il shopping è molto conveniente. Ma se non si guida, potrebbe essere difficile per voi ottenere cibo alla notte .. Il più vicino 7-11 è piuttosto un passo come la sua posizione profonda all'interno della partenza premium Gotemba.

UUtente ospiteHotel New Akao is a huge hotel. It was built quite many many years ago, we stayed at the older wing, so the room tends to be oldish, but well maintained and super clean. For the price we paid, one would expect 5 star facilities, at least a gym for morning workouts, but they did not have that. However, the meals (Dinner & breakfast) provided with the price is fantastic and wide spread. I guess its a onsen hotel so people tend to go there just for the hotel onsen which is great and nice. We do love the big buffet spread of meals. The room is old, if you prefer the rustic feel. There are no convenient store nearby so when it comes to hunger, you only have vending machine beer. We actually expected to have free flow of snacks and beer but it is only limited to very off peak timing when most people are out for their day trips. Again, we feel that the hefty price tag should at least provide that free beer, drinks and snacks all day and all night. Overall, we still love the experience staying in the hotel. A word of advice - avoid peak seasons like New Year, you will expect to queue up for meals :)

KKen911TTA nice hotel with excellent hotel staff. Hotel room is quite large for Japanese standards. Rooms are clean and quiet. Hotel is about 5 or so minutes walk from the train station. I was able to lug around two large luggages to and from the station and hotel. Not to far of a walk.
Would stay with again, but they were fully booked. Oh well, next time i will spend a little longer in Shizuoka.

UUtente ospiteNon sono rimasto in quei hotel. Ho avuto delle cose urgenti. Ma la mia famiglia l'ha goduto, grande stanza per una famiglia di quattro giochi e sala da giochi. Alla zoo. Non molto lontano dalla stazione, ma al monte, quindi per le famiglie con bambini e nessuna macchina può essere un po' difficile da raggiungere. Onsen non è grande, nessun bagno all'aperto. Ma ancora molto buon posto per rimanere
