Симпатичный хотел с очень удобным и вайбовым расположением. Есть общая кухня со всем необходимым (плита, холодильник, микроволновка, раковина, посуда, столовые приборы, столы и барные стулья). Общие зоны душевых и туалетов чистые, шампунь и гель для тела в свободном доступе. Осталась в полном восторге от раковин, где сразу и мыло, и вода, и сушка. За дополнительную плату можно воспользоваться здешней прачечной (постирать и высушить белье). Из минусов: - Этажом выше находится караоке, и да, его слышно. - Есть разделение на мужскую и женскую половины, но стоит понимать, что сотрудники по этому признаку не делятся, по крайней мере, пару раз видела мужчину, который возился с корзинами. - Ячейки для багажа явно не предназначены для чемоданов.

Questo hotel JR è uno dei più unici in assoluto, in quanto ha un onsen sul tetto (19-21F). Viene fornito con un supplemento di 150 yen a persona a notte quando si soggiorna qui. Il 21F è un onsen all'aperto separato per genere! È stata una sorpresa, perché non ci aspettavamo che fosse così bello con il clima attuale. Il parcheggio costa 1000 yen a notte con il parcheggio sul lato del centro commerciale ed è collegato alla reception dell'hotel tramite un ascensore. La posizione è superba anche per chi non guida, in quanto si trova a 1 minuto a piedi dalla stazione JR Oita. Abbiamo utilizzato l'onsen per tutte le notti in cui abbiamo soggiornato. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

The Hotel is a great choice for travelers — it’s very close to Beppu Station, just a short walk away. Within four minutes, there’s a local public onsen nearby, and the front desk can provide single-use body wash and shampoo upon request, which is really thoughtful. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, and the front desk staff are extremely helpful, always ready to assist with any needs or questions. A comfortable and convenient place to stay if you’re exploring Beppu!

Le camere sono un po' piccole, ma nella norma per gli hotel giapponesi. La posizione è ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Beppu e con molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Adoro il fatto che questo hotel abbia una piscina sul tetto con una vista mozzafiato su Beppu (anche se la piscina è molto bassa). Ci siamo fatti un bel bagno nell'onsen dell'hotel, ma il mio compagno ha detto che era un po' sporco nella sezione maschile. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto usufruire dell'alcol a volontà per 1000 yen a causa del poco tempo a disposizione, ma sarebbe perfetto per gli amanti dell'alcol! Lo consiglio vivamente e ci tornerò! Personale gentile, pulito e accogliente!

The private onsen attached to my room was a highlight, allowing me to unwind in soothing hot springs while taking in the picturesque views. What truly sets Kannawaen apart is the attention to detail and personalized service. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect, making me feel truly cared for throughout my stay. If you’re looking for a luxurious, tranquil getaway with impeccable service and a true Japanese experience, I highly recommend Kannawaen Sanso Ryokan. It’s a place we would love to visit again. Sono venuto qui con mia sorella per due notti. Il nuovo ambiente è molto buono, pulito e pulito. Siamo stati organizzati per il secondo piano di giardino.La stanza è molto spaziosa. L'aria fredda è molto fredda nella stanza, siamo ancora freddi a 27 gradi direttamente. Ci sono massaggi nella nostra stanza, e usiamo molto bene.Aprire la porta davanti al lato destro, che è il caldo all'aperto.Molto vicino. Il capo e la cameriera sono molto gentili. Se torno in un altro posto, vivrò qui. La nostra esperienza è molto buona.

Shoes off when entering the hotel might not be the norm but it’s a pleasant and new experience for me. Staffs at this hotel are very friendly and excellent. Onsen is good, with indoor & outdoor and some private ones available on a FCFS basis. There were complimentary amenities provided on the onsen floor too. Night time ice cream after dipping in the onsen felt good. Location is good, near to the station with plenty of shops and restaurants around in walking distance. Base room may be a bit small though, and also the no house-keeping might be a throw-off for some. But overall a pleasant experience.

Very nice modern style ryokan nestled in the hills of Beppu. Rooms are very nice and big, with our private onsen bathroom. We opted for the dinner and breakfast, and they were both pretty good and tasty.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and the experience was mixed — there are some nice touches, but also noticeable shortcomings. **Room:** The room was spacious but clearly outdated; furniture and interior look worn. The ventilation works, yet it still feels quite stuffy inside. It would be great if the hotel improved air-conditioning or installed mosquito screens: the sea view is beautiful, but opening the window isn’t an option because of too many insects. **Facilities & Service:** The only real extras are massage service and a shared onsen. There’s no gym, pool, or other activities — the hotel is designed for quiet relaxation. A shuttle service is available, which is convenient, but if you miss it, getting to the hotel on your own can be quite difficult. During this stay the hotel was quite busy, and it often took a long time to catch the elevator to our floor. **Dining:** Breakfast and dinner can be pre-booked; the food was tasty and varied. The bar offers a pleasant atmosphere with a decent drink selection, and in the evening the lobby lounge opens with alcoholic drinks and light snacks — a nice way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. **Location:** The property faces Beppu Bay, yet the seaside feeling is limited — there are few walking areas nearby, and due to insects it’s hard to enjoy the open air. **Overall:** A good option for a calm, onsen-style getaway with decent food and polite staff, but when the hotel is crowded, the lack of facilities and outdated rooms become more noticeable. With some modernization and better infrastructure, this could be an excellent resort.

Affidabile per il JR Beppu, la ricezione è automatizzata con l'aiuto di un personale amichevole. L'impianto di Onsen è un po' vecchio ma utilizzabile.  I ristoranti sono a pochi passi da marcia. La spiaggia non è troppo lontana.
