Otto notti di soggiorno, grande posizione, autobus ogni quindici minuti a Sunderland e dello scudo meridionale, molti ristoranti vicino. Il prezzo per notte con colazione è ragionevole, l'hotel è data e funziona con il personale minimo, eravamo al terzo piano, l'ascensore è rotto / fuori servizio, la stanza era abbastanza pulita, ancora molta polvere che potrebbe essere facilmente rimosso con un buon pulito, bagno di colazione, tutto quello che puoi mangiare, piscina e sauna inclusi. Vorrei fermarmi di nuovo, sì, in un piano inferiore, o dimenticare di menzionare il personale è amichevole e più utile. Tre foto di pulizia e manutenzione semplici.

The Embassy Hotel in Gateshead is a good value hotel and we had breakfast included. The breakfast was continental style with Instant porridge, a little watery, fruit, coffee and fruit juice. You could have a Pan Chocolat or a cereal bar instead. It filled a gap and saved having to spend more. The room was good and we got a double bed and three quarter double. I slept very well and my wife liked the other bed too. The bathroom and shower worked well and you get shampoo and soap thrown in. TV is around 30 inches with Freeview type channels. There were two chairs on the room but only one bedside table. We used a chair for another one. It would have been useful to have a fan in the room as the rooms seem quite warm, even with the window open. There is a themostate on the wall but it's not clear if it does anything. In winter there is an electric heater. There are bi sockets near the bed, so be aware of that fir charging. You can buy snacks at reception should you rush and there is a pub restaurant next door, which opens after 11 am. . One good thing us that there gs plenty of free parking but it gets fuller in the evening, due to pub customers. We didn't have an issue and it's nice to find free parking as many hotels now charge for this. Sleep was great, shower was great too basic over a bath but responded well to temperature changes. Towels soft bit scratchy. We gave said three times and there are some good deals to be found it you need to be in the Newcastle Area. There is the Metro Centre about a mile down the road if you don't get breakfast with Ihea and McDonald's etc, so you won't starve. The hotel itself is in a very good location just a minute off the A1 if you're heading further into Northumberland or down South towards London direction. The staff are very helpful and we checked in without an issue. If you ordered, and received breakfast from another site, not Best Western, make sure you show them the invoice including breakfast. Next time I think I would go to ZUkea for breakfast as it's good to have but not worth paying extra for, unless you want a bacon bap.

I am a Marriot rewards member and have been for a number of years. Hotel is ideal location for what we wanted. Staff very welcoming and always were polite. My only issue was that whilst booking I always request a room away from lift. I was given a room directly at lift. Further issues were hot water did not work, telephone light continually flashing all night and no drinking water or fridge was in room. I highlighted this to reception and was told they were unaware of any of these issues. The following morning I again spoke to reception and this time I am very pleased to say that the receptionist, Meghan, took ownership of this. She searched rooms available and was able to re-allocate me to another room with no issues. Rest of our 4 day stay went without a hitch due to excellent service from Meghan. Last note, why is it less expensive to book through a 3rd party rather than direct with hotel?

Helpful friendly staff at reception Good location. The bathroom in my room had an unpleasant odour, smell, possibly the pipes from the toilets, was clean but the smell was very unpleasant. Bathroom needs ripping out & updating & new pipes for toilet. Not good for light sleepers like myself - can hear drunks outside & people outside at night. The train going past on the bridge is a lil noisy & the guests in other room made noise. Comfy bed & nice sized room & view. Hard working housekeepers who do an EXCELLENT job 💫💫💫 Good value for money.

Staff is nice, we were given room facing the river, so we can see the light of Millenium bridge. Hotel location is good and nice welcome drinks. Room and bed are nice Hotel wifi is fast. Thank you staffs of hotel Leonardo

La stanza 515 era assolutamente bella all'interno per rimanere fuori, ma i tappeti erano estremamente caldi nel bacino e i piatti non funzionavano correttamente come il bacino manteneva la pressione e non poteva spingere a liberare l'acqua, che include anche il bagno così sarà necessita di manutenzione così l'acqua corre bene e più si deve sostituire il piatto di bagno come camminato in un danneggiato, grande struttura’ ma la stanza deve essere un po 'più grande e si aspettava che una stanza non fosse in un angolo.

Ideal location right by the train station. Hotel room was lovely, beds comfortable, shower warm - large spacious room. Mini bar also. Hotel staff friendly breakfast was available at extra charge but did not have it. Would stay here again.

Recentemente sono rimasto in questo hotel e purtroppo la mia esperienza non è stata molto comoda. Il condizionamento dell’aria nella stanza era completamente inefficace e non rifriva affatto lo spazio; ma anche se la stanza era dotata di un piccolo fan, non era abbastanza vicino per due persone, soprattutto durante un’onda di calore. Il fan dell’estrattori del bagno non lavorava, il che significava che dopo aver fatto una doccia, la stanza si fece ancora più calda e più umida; poiché la finestra non poteva essere aperta, non c’era modo di ottenere aria fresca o ventilazione. Abbiamo finito per passare una notte molto incomoda e inquietante a causa del calore eccessivo. L'hotel non è particolarmente centrale, ma è relativamente vicino al centro della città. Un aspetto positivo è che offre parcheggio e colazione gratuito, che è certamente apprezzato. In generale, se il condizionamento d'aria fosse stato adeguatamente riparato, sarei lieta di considerare di rimanere qui in futuro.

Obviously a location closer to the beach would be ideal, but all the rest is great. Good rooms, good breakfast, and mostly amazing gym facilities (several large rooms, swimming pool as well)

The Hanson hotel is the perfect location for the university's and the town centre ,rooms could do with a good update ,food and staff were exceptional would advise to make a visit even if it's for a drink and something to eat
