Regno Unito: hotel con parcheggio nella provincia di Staffordshire

We stayed in the Keele Courtyard for 3 nights 27-30 December 2025, close enough to the village of Woore where our son hosted a large family gathering - 15 in all of which we are the parents of 3 and grandparents of 7. We found most aspects of the hotel to be very good - very helpful and obliging staff, a spacious and well-appointed room with a large very accessible bathroom. The generous bed was perhaps a little soft for our taste, with pillows that were too large/over-filled to be completely comfortable, again not to our taste, however we slept without too much 'distress'!! Our main disappointment was breakfast. We dined at 7.45am on our first morning as we had a 9am church service to attend and there were few others in the restaurant. The 'heated' plates were cold, and without exception, every cooked item (an acceptable selection available) in the chafers was tepid if not cold and greasy. The fried egg yolks were solid and unpalatable. The generic plain yoghurt was of thin consistency and tasteless. The unlabelled marmalade, (if that was what it was?!) had no flavour and might even have been apricot jam ... There were plenty of cereal, pastry, Danish, roll, fruit, cold cut options etc. and the fruit salad and compote were delicious! The bread for toasting was basic and there were no uncut options to enable a choice of thickness. There was a seeded loaf, already sliced, available near the pastries, etc. which made delicious toast but could perhaps have been available for individual guests to cut more thickly? The coffee from the machines was good, with a varied selection of choices. In order to have a cup of tea, it was necessary to 'dunk' a teabag in a mug - yes, very much what many tea- drinkers do in their daily lives, but surely the availability of small stainless steel tea pots near the hot water is not beyond the imagination of an organisation like Marriot? Tea tastes so much better if allowed to brew in a teapot before being poured into a cup or mug! Perhaps these comments will allow Marriot to review some of their Buffet Breakfast practises and improve the quality of the experience. May I conclude by saying that we have had worse and better - but are still looking for perfection ... ! Thank you for this opportunity to air my feelings. ************.

Really enjoyed my stay. The location was great and close to everywhere I needed to get to. The room was very clean and had a nice view. The car park was very close to the hotel, although it felt a bit isolated, so I was a little worried about parking there late at night. That said, everything was absolutely fine. The amenities were good overall. The staff at the front desk could have been a bit more welcoming and customer-focused. But they were helpful.

La stanza era piccola, ma aveva tutto ciò che doveva. La stanza era pulita e pulita.  L’unica cosa che ha lasciato questo viaggio è che l’aria condizionata non funziona e non funziona da mesi. Ho chiamato la ricezione prima di prenotare, e hanno detto come funzionava il con aereo, ma quando sono arrivato, hanno detto che ”può funzionare, in alcune camere”, ma non lavorava nel nostro.  Ma in generale, questo era un bel hotel confortevole. Prenotare ancora una volta l'aria condizionata funziona.

Ho soggiornato recentemente in questo hotel e, purtroppo, l'esperienza è scesa al di sotto delle aspettative. Sebbene fossero gentili quando si avvicinavano direttamente, c'era una notevole mancanza di iniziativa e a volte si sentiva che gli ospiti fossero lasciati a scoprire le cose da soli. La stanza stessa aveva diverse questioni che non dovevano essere ignorate. Il sedile del bagno non era adeguatamente montato, e sopra di ciò il flusso del bagno era incline e non funzionava così bene come dovrebbe. Queste sono le strutture di base che devono funzionare correttamente per un soggiorno confortevole, e il doccia aveva anche formato sul silicone, che è stato deludente e solleva preoccupazioni circa il livello di manutenzione e di pulizia. Un altro problema è stato il cuttery fornito nella stanza. Era sporco all'arrivo, che immediatamente ha creato dubbi circa le norme generali di igiene. Questo piccolo dettaglio, come questo, fa una grande differenza in quanto si sente affidabile e confortevole un ospite. Sebbene l'hotel abbia potenziale in termini di layout e di strutture, questi problemi hanno reso il soggiorno molto meno piacevole. Spero sinceramente che la gestione affronti queste preoccupazioni in modo che i futuri ospiti possano avere una molto migliore esperienza.

Location was brilliant. Staff were friendly at check in. We asked for a room with space around the bed due to medical reasons and were given this. Tea coffee and snacks in the film were great.

We booked to stay here as we had a daytime function nearby. We had a few hotels as options and chose here as it was a special occasion and this felt like a treat. We all arrived at different times to get changed before leaving and said we all felt like we were an inconvenience from the moment we arrived. The staff weren't friendly or very helpful. We arrived back from our function at 7.30pm and checked in, there was a change in staff but not a change in customer service. We asked if we could get food from the restaurant and was told we couldn't because of ”everything else going on” which we assume was a wedding nor could we order room service. We asked if we were allowed to go for a drink in the bar and they said we could if we ”could find a table”. We weren't informed of where breakfast was, the times or when check out was. We went out for food in the end, but be mindful there isn't anything particularly nearby so it was a challenge with taxis but we found somewhere to eat easy enough (and had a lovely time). The hotel itself is beautiful as are the grounds so we were really disappointed that the service didn't match it.

Great location, to walk everywhere. free safe parking. Food was quality, the shower in the room was amazing. Great stay thank you.

Ci piace davvero stare qui, se solo per una sola notte per rompere la serata da sud a nord ovest, prendendo il nostro viaggio di nuovo la mattina successiva. La nostra recente visita è stata la prima a utilizzare il nostro nuovo (per noi) EV, quindi il prelievo sul sito ha dimostrato ansia calmante e molto efficace - anche se prezioso! Grazie ancora a tutti interessati al nostro soggiorno, saremo di nuovo - è certo! Miglior, M&C

Un grande piccolo posto con una bella piscina. Una bella casa di nuoto. Una bella famiglia insieme in un alloggio molto pulito e ben attrezzato.

All'ispezione del personale di ricezione era più interessato a guardare il calcio e mi è stato detto di aspettare che guardassero il calcio!!! Non dormivo bene, perché l'hotel aveva una corda aperta sul polo della bandiera, disse al mattino che era aperta dal chiusura. L'hotel ha un incredibile patrimonio e la stanza condivide questo patrimonio, vorrei che il personale prenotasse tempo per il calcio e facesse controlli regolari sul sito ogni giorno.
