While it’s located a bit far away from the CBD (~15 mins walk, with slope), the amenities were sufficient, just like a small apartment. Quiet environment, good for resting and sleep. Easy access to a supermarket nearby. The bed was a bit too soft for me. Housekeeping every day. However, there were lots of ants around the bathtub and a spider hanging on the ceiling of the bathroom in an early morning! I informed the reception staff to remark and clean my bathroom asap when they are open (the front desk not open for 24 hours but receptionist reachable by room intercom call). They have dealt with the issue for me and responded quickly. The staff there were helpful and friendly. They helped me to book a local taxi to the airport at early morning (cheaper than uber).

Il servizio è stato fantastico, e il servizio è stato fantastico. Mia figlia le ha fatto male il piede nella piscina e le hanno mandato un po'di nota e un bar di cioccolato che le ha fatto il giorno, sopra e oltre. La nostra unica denuncia era che il buffet di colazione era piuttosto medio e che Hobart era una città così vivace e ricco di cibo bellissimo che hanno bisogno di sfruttare. Tutto era bene e una selezione decente, ma la sezione calda era piuttosto povera e le salsicce erano come un cartone. I bambini amavano i cereali e i frutti offerti, quindi era un bonus.

Il personale è amichevole, disposto ad aiutare, ha bisogno di soggiornare,  parcheggio AUD20 per notte, situato al retro della cattedrale opposta, l'auto è al otto piano limitata per prenotare un appuntamento in anticipo, e il tempo indefinito è libero di entrare e uscire.Il bagno è un po'sufficiente, ma il grado di pulizia globale è buono, il prezzo è ragionevole 👍

La stanza non è grande, la posizione è buona. La porta è la porta del mare. Ci sono parchi e spiagge intorno a piedi. L'igiene è buona. Il servizio è buono. La stanza è leggermente semplice e la parola accanto può sentire la qualità del sonno in un hotel a auto, e la porta della stanza può parcheggiare

連泊でしたが、予約の際、同じ部屋が空いていなかったため一度チェックアウトをしなければならず、ツアーに参加予定だったため荷物を預かっていただけるか問い合わせたところ、快く引き受けてくれ助かりました。ツアーから戻り再度チェックインしたところ、預けた荷物は新しい部屋に運んでいてくれていました。前日泊まったゲストルームではなく一般の部屋だったため、部屋はコンパクトでしたが、バスルームは広々としていて娘と2人でも全く問題なく過ごせました。ありがとうございました、

My favorite hotel in Hobart: quick check-in, free luggage storage, a pool with a stunning view. It's a 10-minute walk to the city center. There's also a nice food court, which gets busy in the evenings, but I didn't get to try it. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Room provides everything you need. Big space, comfy bed, towels, shower kit, fridge and microwave. Owner is very helpful with late check-in. Peaceful neighbourhood and located not far from shopping/food areas.

KKanchana KhamtaIf you have an early morning flight departing from Hobart Airport and do not have a car (for example, if you have already returned your rental car), I do not recommend staying at this hotel. Even though it is close to the airport, you may face serious transportation issues like the one I experienced.
The hotel is located about 1.8 km from Hobart Airport. By car or taxi, it takes around 5 minutes. However, if you walk, Google Maps shows it takes approximately 25–30 minutes.
On 13 December 2025 at around 5:00 PM, I asked the front desk staff to help me pre-book a taxi with 13CABS for the next morning, using my Australian local number from my eSIM. After the booking was completed, I received an SMS confirming my 13CABS request, including the pickup date and time, as well as a tracking link.
On the morning of 14 December, I checked out very early at 5:45 AM. At that time, the front desk was closed, so I returned the key card at the counter. I then opened the tracking link from the SMS to check the taxi’s location. I could see a car on the map, but it appeared to be quite far away. I decided to wait.
As the pickup time approached, I went outside to wait at the drop-off area, but no taxi arrived. I checked the tracking link again and found that the car was no longer coming.
At 5:54 AM, I received another SMS from 13CABS saying:
“Hi this is 13 CABS. We are sorry for the delay, we hope to have a vehicle to 1 Holyman, CAMBRIDGE shortly. Do you still require a taxi? Please reply Y/N.”
I replied “Y” immediately. After waiting another five minutes with no further updates, I started to feel very anxious.
At that point, I met a couple from Hong Kong who were experiencing the same issue—the taxi they had pre-booked also did not arrive.
I then called the after-hours reception number provided by the hotel. The staff member was very helpful and advised me to contact 13CABS directly to make a new booking.
When I called 13CABS, the operator made a new booking for me and sent another SMS confirmation. However, after waiting for quite a while, there was still no taxi. I asked the Hong Kong couple, and they told me their taxi was supposedly on the way.
About five minutes later, a taxi finally stopped at the drop-off area. The couple checked with the driver—it was not their booked taxi. I then asked the driver, and it was not booked under my name either. However, the driver explained that he was waiting in the airport queue and had received a call from head office instructing him to pick up passengers from Mantra Hobart Airport and take them to Hobart Airport.
In the end, both the Hong Kong couple and I shared that taxi. The driver charged me AUD 21 and charged the couple AUD 21 as well.
In conclusion, staying here is risky if you have an early morning flight, even though the hotel is close to the airport. You may encounter serious issues arranging transportation in the early hours and risk missing your flight.
That morning, while I was waiting at the drop-off area, I also saw a man walking from the hotel toward the airport, pulling his suitcase. Unfortunately, it was raining at the time, and the weather was cold, making the situation even worse.

MmintylauStayed 5 nights in the hotel. It’s a standard hotel room size. We booked Mountain View room, can see some part of the water. It’s not too near about city center, will take some time to walk to Salamanca Market. If you have a car instead, it’d be great as there is free car park. It’s a nice hotel with great service. And ****** is next to it, can play during your stay.

UUtente ospiteFrom entering the hotel, we were greeted by 2 lovely receptionists. They were professional and very friendly. The check in was very quick and easy and on our way to our room in no time. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. The Bathroom was adequately stocked with fluffy clean towels and toiletries and hair dryer available.
The hotel is within walking distance to the shopping mall and the $10 fee for parking, saved us from having to pay for parking in the city. Very convenient. A very nice stay. Thank you.

WWong Hin Wah DennisA wooden family cabin was selected in this booking. The space inside was large and actually like a warm house with full furniture. Three beds inside and sufficient for a 4 member family. The breakfast was excellent instead a conventional buffet. I will recommend at least two night stay as it is just near the national park for trail walking.

YYao LungThe room photos on Trip.com were taken when the room was brand new. It clearly is no longer the case now - some staining on the curtains and soft furniture and marks on walls. Overall, for the price, it's still acceptable.
Check-in is done at the bar like most similar types of accommodation above a pub.
Bedding is exceptionally comfortable - special mention of the supremely comfortable mattress and pillows. 5-star bed.
Water pressure in the shower is weak - 60% of what I would have liked.
Bottled water and milk in the fridge is a nice touch. Crockery and cutlery provided in the kitchen.
You will have to lug your luggage up 1 flight of stairs as there's no lift.

YYuchenL'hotel è molto bello, la posizione è anche grande. Tuttavia la stanza si sente molto stufa, il balcone è chiuso solo una piccola finestra è lasciata aperta e la finestra dello schermo è incredibilmente polvere, non credo mai stato pulito. Anche la custodia è molto poco professionale, e lei è entrata senza nemmeno colpire la porta alle 9:00 mentre noi dormono, solo dire ”ciao” quando la porta è stata aperta.
