This hotel is amazing! I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting cappadocia. The staff was kind and helpful especially in booking our transfers and giving us recommendations for where to eat. The rooms itself was well kept and gave you a movie like feel. Would definitely come to stay again here. Thanks again to Metin and Eray and the rest of the staff for a wonderful stay!

Hotel di grotta meraviglioso, buon servizio, buon colazione
Anche se è a Gerjup, penso che il prezzo sia molto superiore a Gramey (se si affitta un veicolo di trasporto)
Vivo anche a Gramey per una notte, Gramey è nel seminterrato, le condizioni sono molto pessime, ma più costose.

2 küçük çocuğum ve eşimle gittik. Öncelikle temizliği çok güzeldi, herşey temiz hijyenik. Özellikle o güzel personellerin ilgisi güleryüzü çok memnun kaldık. Çocuklarla rahat ettiğimiz bir konaklama oldu. Kahvaltısı çok güzel ve çeşitliydi. Çok çok teşekkür ederiz, iyi ki sizi tercih etmişiz.

La posizione di questo stesso, le periferie della città, e anche la crescita. Di tutto ciò, posso notare il personale - molto gentile e cercare di aiutare con qualsiasi altra persona non vincolata. La ventilazione non funziona affatto se si fa una doccia, siate consapevoli che l'umidità resterà tutto il giorno e tutte le cose che avete non si asciugano, compresa una tovagliola. Ci sono anche anziani, nella stanza è meglio non prendere niente dal cibo con voi

Hakan was especially helpful giving us reccomendations and discounts for local restaurants and advice for bookings as well as a good chat. Couldn't reccomend enough

ギョレメよりもウチヒサルの方が高地にあるので、景色が全体的に綺麗で個人的にオススメです。(気球スポットまでもそれほど遠くない。)

UUtente anonimoOur two-night stay here was unfortunately disappointing. We were given a room on the ground floor which had several issues during our stay. Part of the cave ceiling fell shortly after we checked in and so there was stone debris strewn around the room and on top of one of our suitcases. Thankfully our suitcase was closed. We swiftly complained to reception who told us that these issues do happen as it is a cave and assigned the cleaner to clean the mess. We left to explore town for a few hours and came back fully expecting the mess to already be cleaned but it had not been. There is only one cleaner for the entire hotel and so, cleaning services are not as prompt as it can be but it was eventually sorted.
Cleanliness is another issue that we encountered. The room was dusty and the floors were quite dirty. Walking barefoot in our room was not an option. Dust covered some surfaces, particularly the hair dryer in the bathroom, that was not functioning. We would also periodically find fine rock debris on our items that we left on the bathroom counter.
Furthermore, while breakfast was delightful and there was a nice range of things to choose from, we were shocked at how the food was not served and covered properly. It was left exposed during the entire dining time and as it is summer now, flies were hovering constantly.
Amenities were also dissatisfying. The broken hairdryer aside, there were only three lamps in our cave room which had no windows. So as can be imagined, it was incredibly dark. On our last day, two of the lights went out and so we had to pack our luggages with the door wide open just so we could see. The air-conditioner was barely functioning so the room was sweltering in the morning. It was better at night but we had to sleep without the blankets in order to be comfortable. Lastly, the glass shower had no door and looked to have been broken.
That said, the staff members were kind and welcoming and tried their best to attend to our needs, albeit not always swiftly. We did take into consideration that this is a cave hotel and that infrastructural issues are to be expected. However, the hotel itself does not seem to be maintained well. I am sure there are plenty of cave hotels that do not have the issues listed. There is ongoing construction happening at the rooftop area though so that might be the cause? Furthermore, as it is a small hotel (I hesitate to even classify it as that - it feels more like a bed and breakfast), the staff itself is small and so, service can be slow.
All in all, it is a good option if you want to have an authentic cave experience that is not as expensive as the others and that is conveniently located in the town centre close to all the good eateries. Just make sure to adjust your expectations and to be prepared for issues to arise that though are minor, are too numerous to be overlooked.
Side note: do not get a taxi to the airport from the hotel. Quoted at 60 Euros while the taxi stand 5 mins away from the hotel can take you there for a little over 2000 Liras.

SSonia RaphaelWe booked 2 nights at the Hira Cave Hotel. Omar and Mehdi took care of all our requests during our stay! The property is beautiful, rooms are well maintained and the location is at the perfect vantage point to experience beautiful views (from their rooftop).
📱 They reached out to us before checking in to give us information about the hot air balloon booking, various other tours and helped us arrange an airport shuttle - this was all via whatsapp.
They even helped us organise a taxi late at night to go into town / as well as back to the hotel.
🛜 WiFi is good here! There were also no issues with connectivity with 4G/5G ✅
🚪 Initially we had booked the ‘Arch Room’(which has windows), but upon arrival in the evening, we were given the Deluxe Cave room (smaller & no windows). I believe it was an honest mistake, and once we pointed it out, Mehdi took us to see the other available rooms and we ended up choosing the Queen Room w/Jacuzzi. I really appreciate that he did this, and the problem was solved on the spot!
🛁 The Queen room is beautiful and spacious, and the bathroom is massive! It has a Jacuzzi that fits 2 people!
Water pressure in the shower is great, and basic amenities were provided in the bathroom.
🌬️ There is aircon in the room, however it wasn’t as cooling as we had hoped. There was also a glitch where it kept switching off after about 30 min and then showed us an error. So we had to keep turning it back on - which was a bit inconvenient 🤷🏻♀️.
The issue was brought up during checkout, and they said they will be looking into it. 👍🏼
🍽️ They have a breakfast terrace that is covered yet has a STUNNING panoramic view of the whole town of Göreme. They had a delicious spread of food which was freshly made, clean & healthy! They were also able to make scrambled eggs on request.
Overall, our experience here was great. We felt taken care of, and it’s safe to say we made a good choice staying here!

UUtente ospiteIl momento in cui entrate in hotel è un hotel fantastico. Il personale è amichevole e ci dà molte informazioni e consigli per prenotare anche tour/attività per noi. La stanza è sorprendente come vediamo sulle foto, la doccia è grande con stabile temperatura e pressione idrica. Abbiamo anche ordinato il bar a notte con una vista sorprendente! Bfast è uno dei migliori durante il mio viaggio in Turchia. La stanza è elegante, ma il wifi è piuttosto debole in alcune zone. L'hotel ha una propria auto e può offrire una gita se non sono occupati ( perché si trova carina sulla collina, se si viaggia con grandi valigie, chieda all'hotel se possono darvi una gita)

KKUMAR VASWANIQuesto è uno dei più fighi hotel che abbia mai visitato nella mia vita. Se ti piace l'architettura gotica e qualcosa di diverso stancato degli stessi vecchi hotel boutique, questo è un posto per visitare. La piscina sanguigna nel dungeon è sorprendente con serpenti e pietre sul tetto.Se siete in musica rock medievale gotico e ancora volete i lussi, questo è il luogo dove dovete venire a vedere.

UUtente anonimoPosizione perfetta nel pieno centro di Göreme. Abbiamo soggiornato 3 giorni e avendo affittato previamente una macchina non abbiamo usufruito delle escursioni che propone l'hotel.
Dalla terrazza comune si possono vedere le mongolfiere alle prime ore del mattino, e se si vuole avere una vista migliore, a soli 7 minuti a piedi si può raggiungere il ”sunset point”.

NNeol TooI had an incredible experience at Sultan Cave Suites during my recent stay. From the moment we landed, the hotel provided a free ride from the airport to the hotel, making our arrival smooth and stress-free. The staff went above and beyond, with a special shout-out to a wonderfully helpful team member who assisted me with my heavy luggage, proving that strength comes in all forms.
What truly impressed me was the staff's local knowledge. Despite being a petite individual, one staff member knew the area like the back of her hand. She not only recommended fantastic nearby markets and restaurants but also guided us to a hidden gem for a delightful breakfast experience.
Late check-in wasn't an issue at all. The staff graciously helped us order food during the night, ensuring we didn't go to bed hungry. The hotel's strategic location near the airport was incredibly convenient for our transit stay. The next morning, they provided a reasonably priced shuttle service to ensure we caught our flight on time, completing the seamless experience.
I also have to mention the delightful night staff member who was not only cute but also warm and friendly. Her willingness to share local insights added a personal touch to our stay.
In summary, Sultan Cave Suites is a gem for transit flight stays. I'm grateful for the exceptional service and will undoubtedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.
