Malaysia: hotel con internet nella provincia di Penang

Ho prenotato un soggiorno di 3 notti, il check-in è stato piacevole e tempestivo. Una volta raggiunta la stanza, il water era intasato, il vetro del bagno era ammuffito. Il resto della stanza era ok ma c'era un odore di odore proveniente dalla moquette. La TV era come un modello obsoleto e la ricezione era orribile e poco chiara, cosa che non otteniamo al giorno d'oggi se non negli anni '80 o '90. La colazione era davvero semplice, dovresti saltarla e non sembra quella di un hotel. Ho fatto il check-out anticipato di un giorno e ho prenotato un altro hotel perché non mi sento bene.

L'hotel è in un'ottima posizione e si possono raggiungere a piedi le attrazioni vicine al centro storico. L'unica cosa che non mi ha soddisfatto è stato il rumore delle pulizie ogni mattina prima delle 6:00, i primi due giorni. Non sapevo se fosse il rumore proveniente dalla porta accanto o dalla stanza al piano di sopra. Il mio sonno ristoratore mattutino è stato bruscamente disturbato. La terza mattina sono andato alla reception per chiedere un cambio di camera, ma il cameriere mi ha detto di aspettare un attimo. Di conseguenza, sono andato dalla ragazza alla reception tre volte prima di ricevere la tessera della camera verso le 15:00. Inizialmente, la reception mi ha detto che dovevo tornare in camera a preparare le mie cose e che la nuova tessera sarebbe stata consegnata in camera entro dieci minuti. Ma dopo aver aspettato più di dieci minuti, nessuno me l'ha consegnata. Di conseguenza, sono corso alla reception per chiederla al cameriere. Dopo essermi rigirato per diverse volte, ero di cattivo umore. Per fortuna, dopo aver cambiato camera, ho finalmente dormito bene.

Hotel location very convenient. Walking distance to Cecil market, Kimberly street, chulia street. It will be good if the in-house TV is smart TV so that we can enjoy watching you tube or Netflix program Hotel provide drinks and popcorn snacks at the lobby Grab car and grab food delivery also easy

Pros : walking distance to heritage place. Easy to find food. Clean room and i guess newly renovated hotel. Cons : this room definitely not a cityview as described, abit disappointed feeling like being scammed. Can see the picture ive taken. Soundproofing very bad & i can hear clearly people Walk outside & bang the door.

The hotel looks a little old, but everything is really well maintained and clean. The facilities are great, especially the gym. It’s fully equipped with dumbbells, barbells and all kinds of machines for different workouts. There’s also a sauna, steam room and hot and cold jacuzzis, all in good working condition. The location is perfect, right along Gurney Drive. Get a sea view room if you can because the view is amazing whether it’s sunrise or sunset. It’s also super convenient with Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon just a short walk away, and plenty of food options nearby. Taking a Grab to town takes only about 10 minutes. Breakfast was really good too. There’s a wide mix of local and international dishes that change daily, plus an egg and roti canai station where you can order fresh. Service was okay, though the staff weren’t as warm as I expected from a five star hotel. Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a great location with solid facilities and food.

Such a wonderful stay, staff is super friendly and helpfull. Room amenities and facilities is excellent, got USB charger provided and this is super helpful in the room. The room condition is excellent with all the equipment working well. Water park is nice for a family with kids and spend time here is soo valuable with the sea is directly in front of the building. Room special gifted is really made my day for relaxing.

The check-in process was quick. The reception staff on duty were very friendly. The room was quite okay and clean. Facilities are minimalist. Daily rooms housekeeping are available. The location is quite close to Komtar.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Batu Ferringhi I booked my stay through Trip.com and the whole experience was effortless. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the staff member who attended to me was genuinely warm and accommodating. I was also given a late checkout, which made my stay even more relaxing. One thing I really enjoyed was the welcome cookie. It’s such a nice and thoughtful touch, especially when welcome drinks have become quite boring and predictable. The cookie felt unique and memorable. The lobby is spacious and inviting, with a beautiful view that immediately puts you in a good mood. My room was clean, comfortable and beautifully designed. Not long after I settled in, the hotel called to check if I needed anything. When I requested a toothbrush, they sent it up very quickly. The service throughout my stay felt attentive without being intrusive. Breakfast was excellent. There were plenty of choices and the staff were always nearby to help. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The gym is nice, well maintained and has a great view. The pool area is spacious, relaxing and perfect for winding down. Overall, I had a truly pleasant stay at DoubleTree Hilton Batu Ferringhi. Great service, great facilities and a very comfortable atmosphere. Hospitality and service were amazing. The staffs were friendly and very helpful, check in and check out process were smooth, need to pay deposit RM6 at receptionist. Room size was quite small but the bed was cozy enough, toilet was clean and the water pressure is good. Amenities & breakfast spread can really be improved. The pool was small but it has kids pool, overall stay was good. Located near to lots of eateries and shops. Around 10 mins to Queensbay mall.

The hotel is located about 10–15 minutes away from the town. The surrounding area is rather quiet, with no eateries nearby, but there’s a cozy café at the lobby. Check-in was smooth and efficient, each guest even received a drink voucher, which can be redeemed for coffee, tea, or orange juice. The room itself is very spacious and comfortable. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The shower area doesn’t have a door, so water tends to splash outside. The bathroom drainage is slightly clogged, and the bathroom door cannot be fully closed, which may feel a bit awkward if staying with friends. Lastly, the bed sheet had an unpleasant smell, which was quite disappointing. Overall, the stay was consider ok in terms of space and service, but cleanliness and bathroom maintenance could be better.
