Malaysia: hotel con internet nella provincia di Penang

We went on a 3 days 2 nights business trip with family in Penang. This hotel is located at Gurney bay which is such a very good location. We personally familiar with the surrounding there so it is easy to find food and travel. The parking building can be accessed both from Gurney bay and Kelawai road which is very convenient. Free parking is available in the building. The parking space in front of the hotel charges 10 RM per entry. We got a connecting room which is so comfortable for us. The hotel staff were very nice also. Pros: The room is fully equipped with universal power outlets. Cons: The shower is located in bathtub. It is quite slippery and inconvenient. Overall, We had a very pleasant stay.

Ho prenotato un soggiorno di 3 notti, il check-in è stato piacevole e tempestivo. Una volta raggiunta la stanza, il water era intasato, il vetro del bagno era ammuffito. Il resto della stanza era ok ma c'era un odore di odore proveniente dalla moquette. La TV era come un modello obsoleto e la ricezione era orribile e poco chiara, cosa che non otteniamo al giorno d'oggi se non negli anni '80 o '90. La colazione era davvero semplice, dovresti saltarla e non sembra quella di un hotel. Ho fatto il check-out anticipato di un giorno e ho prenotato un altro hotel perché non mi sento bene.

The room is clean but toilet & bathroom are a little tight on space. Location for street food is excellent. Unfortunately the hotel doesn’t provide free shuttle to these spots. Although the staff tries to reach out to see if they can help make the stay better, the info about the free CAT bus to Cecil Street Market was erroneous.

Hotel location very convenient. Walking distance to Cecil market, Kimberly street, chulia street. It will be good if the in-house TV is smart TV so that we can enjoy watching you tube or Netflix program Hotel provide drinks and popcorn snacks at the lobby Grab car and grab food delivery also easy

Pros : walking distance to heritage place. Easy to find food. Clean room and i guess newly renovated hotel. Cons : this room definitely not a cityview as described, abit disappointed feeling like being scammed. Can see the picture ive taken. Soundproofing very bad & i can hear clearly people Walk outside & bang the door.

Shangri-La Golden Sands truly embodies relaxation, with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and a laid-back charm. The food is excellent, the beach is beautiful, and guests also enjoy the convenience of a complimentary shuttle service to downtown Georgetown via Jen Hotel.Kudos to them!

The hotel's room is very clean and comfortable, only the TV can't see movies. The hotel' buffet dinner is superb and delicious, I love it. I will come back to this hotel again when I travel to Penang.

Soggiorno conveniente e ragionevole. Sono forniti prodotti di prima necessità come spazzolino da denti e altri prodotti essenziali. Un asse da stiro è disponibile lungo il corridoio. Ottima posizione a Georgetown, tutto è raggiungibile a piedi. L'unico inconveniente è la scarsa connessione WiFi, gli altri servizi sono ottimi, soggiorno adatto per brevi soggiorni.

Room was small but clean, cozy and comfortable. The only thing to note is that the room isn’t very soundproof — we could hear people passing by the corridor and doors closing loudly at midnight many times. Parking was challenging. Great location to nearby attractions and shops. Overall great 👍🏻

L'addetto alla reception che ci ha accolto durante il check-in è stato memorabile in modo negativo. O era arrabbiata con noi che chiamavamo in anticipo e chiedevamo un check-in anticipato oppure ci trattava in modo abbastanza poco professionale in base alla nostra posizione sociale. È vero che la mia amica che era con me è figlia di un VIP che non sente il bisogno di vantarsi del suo status, ma anche lei è rimasta perplessa dal trattamento poco amichevole. A parte questo, la camera era di prim'ordine, ottima vista e per fortuna tutto il resto del personale è stato gentile con noi.
