Very nice Japanese style room overlooking the river and the tree filled riverbank hill. It was very private. Breakfast and dinner was served at the table and was excellent. Much variety of fish, chicken, pork, tofu, and vegetables. The overall atmosphere was very elegant and relaxed. The ryokan is located right on one of the bus stops for easy access from the train station. It is a short 10 minute walk to the main area of town. There are several onsen pools. Some rotate between men and women at different hours. Very clean with good amenities. Overall a very memorable stay.

Stayed at Comfort Hotel Maebashi for a short trip. The room was warm and cozy, though a bit small — similar to most hotels in Japan. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the toilet felt more spacious compared to other hotels. Overall, a comfortable stay with everything you need. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Questo è un posto favoloso per un'autentica vacanza giapponese. La posizione è splendida. L'area termale esterna è pulita e sembra un set cinematografico. I pasti inclusi sono abbondanti e deliziosi. La nostra camera si affacciava sul fiume ed era fantastica. Pavimenti in tatami e finestre con zanzariere shoji. Questo è un luogo antico e storico e non soddisfa gli standard occidentali. Si dorme su futon sul pavimento. È disponibile solo cibo giapponese. Ma è un posto meraviglioso dove trascorrere un po' di tempo.

We had a very good overall experience at this onsen hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we enjoyed our stay very much. We especially appreciated having an English-speaking staff member available — it made communication much easier and helped us feel more comfortable during our visit.

A relax and nice view in Kusatsu. The hotel is located a bit far from bus terminal. However, there is a free shuttle bus service which connected with bus service. I strongly encourage the private onsen package where we can taste three different type of onsen in the hotel. My platinum ring changed colour, may be due to the acidity of onsen water😂. The dinner and breakfast inspired and it is good for family trip with a number of accessible service for elderly with physically limitations.

Attenzione alla camera dell'hotel non c'è camera da letto privata Se vuoi pagare la tassa alla sala pubblica C'è un po' di odore in camera Ma la stanza è bella per il lago di nome residenziale  La sala interna dell'hotel è molto comoda ma anche molto crudele

Le camere pulite, il personale utile e una viva accogliente hanno reso un soggiorno memorabile.

great location that’s nearby almost all the main spots. however if you arrive late at night and there’s no more space to park your car, you have to drive a little further out and park at a carpark. they will give you a coupon for the carpark. the private onsen was way too hot to use unfortunately. like there’s no way a sane person will be able to use without scaring yourself /:
