I really liked the Comfort Hotel. Great location, easy access from maebashi train station and quick walk to shopping areas. The room was just what we needed with helpful amenities. Staff are lovely and helpful. Would recommend for a short stay.

This hotel is very convenient. Nearby a lot of shopping mall. Opposite hotel got parking. 1000yen for 24 hour and can pay by card. Got drinks at lobby and free breakfast. Check in via kiosk

Ok, la posizione vicino alla stazione è buona.C'è una lavatrice all'hotel, quindi è una buona cosa per le persone che viaggiano a lungo.Alcuni possono pensare che il negozio sia un po' lontano, ma penso sia molto conveniente, perché è ancora meno di dieci minuti.

Great location really close to the Kasatsu bus station. Friendly staff although some of them are not fluent in English, they always try to provide the best service. We also had dinner and breakfast at the hotel which were both top quality. One thing that was slightly disappoint is that we were assigned to a table with no view in the restaurant for both meals. So couldn’t enjoy the snowy view as we would wanted to during our meals.

Their consideration for the 2nd day stay meals were different and gave us delicious sets to eat. Right next to the magnificent view of the famous Ikaho onsen stone stairs with sweet filling desserts.

Hotel eccellente per i viaggiatori. Locketti di magazzinaggio in una posizione facile da raggiungere quando arrivate presto o quando si verifica e vuole continuare a esplorare la città. Le camere sono pulite. Le letti sono comodi. Il colazione è eccellente con una vasta gamma di piatti da scegliere. Le signore del colazione fanno davvero un ottimo lavoro!

應該算是伊香保最好住的酒店，四百多年歷史，但不覺得舊，幾個湯都很棒，服務人員專業周到，大堂的小機器人超級可愛。19層去往石階進出口的通道里有一家小餐廳，三個包間，每晚8-11點半營業，煎餃和拉麪都好吃。這個地方的人友善好客，烏冬面是地方特產，每家都好吃；黑船屋的祖傳石鍋咖喱飯特別美味；Sara’s Terrace Arraiya 的套餐很家常；Lungo自家烘培的咖啡最好喝，配一串年糕糰子太香了！階梯旁的抹茶店已經很網紅，但店員好熱心啊，見我摔倒了立刻拿急救箱跑出來給我處理傷口，感動！附近的原美術館也很值得一去，在一個有很多羊的牧場裏。

Fantastico
JJoeTmStayed for 2 nights in early Dec 2024. Booked the mountain view twin room with cypress bath which comes with both dinner and breakfast.
The ryokan styled hotel is located diagonally opposite from the shibukawa bus stop and about 5 mins walk (turn right from the hotel) to the Ikaho stone steps around the mid section of the steps.
The hotel is old ryokan style but well maintained and does not see much wear and tear. The lobby which is on the 3rd floor (ground level) is big. No shoes allowed in the hotel, guests have to deposit their shoes at the entrance. Staff were all friendly and polite though not all can speak well in English. They do go much more to make you feel at home. Yutaka is provided at the lobby.
My room which is located on the 4th floor corner is considered big. Old styled ryokan kind of design but with western bed. Though the room is laid with tatami on the floor but can still hear people walking if they area heavy or run. Corridor noise does filter in as well but muffled. Unblocked view of the mountain as the hotel sits on an elevated hill. I would recommend to stay with mountain view. The cypress bath can fit 2 person but takes a while to fill, I rather go to the public onsen. Besides the usual amenities, they even provide face wash, face moisturiser, etc in the room. Safe box is provided in the room as well. Wifi seems weak. No place in the bathroom however to hang your clothes or towel.
There is an indoor onsen on the first floor and an outdoor one on the 8th floor. The onsen are gender separated. They rotate the male and female onsen on the first floor though both has the same look and facilities. The onsen on the 8th floor has a nice view of the city but no shower facilities. There is a massage chair on the first floor as well.
Breakfast and dinner are served on the 2nd floor. I would not say that this is the best, but definitely delicious and sufficient.
Check in at 3 pm and check out at 10am which I find a bit too early. Hope they can consider to extend.
Overall I would recommend this place to stay if you are coming to ikaho.

JJaQwWe stayed in Naraya House for 1 night and it was perfect. The staffs were all very kind and helpful that I am truly grateful for all their assistance given throughout our stay. We had a suite, rm no.206, it was stunningly amazing! I only know I am booking a suite with a beautiful view of the yubatake and private onsen. I didn't know it's a gigantic duplex suite with the best view of the yubatake! The room door opens to a western style living and dining area that fits with a set of sofa for 6 and a dining table for 4 with 2 benches. To the left of this western style area is 2 double beds, a walk-in closet and a toilet. I could see Japanese syle beddings in a cupboard which I believe they would be made when the room is booked for more than 2 persons. Facing the sofa is a TV panel. Behind the TV is a Japanese style sitting area with a coffee table and a view of the yubatake. The view is picturesque. There you can also find a stairs going down to the suite's private onsen bath. It's actually on a balcony overlooking the yubatake, the same gorgeous view as in its Japanese style sitting area above, just without the windows, ie closer and clearer picture of the yubatake without reflections. But be aware ppl on the street can see u too, as you can see the windows r just next to 7.11 The meal provided was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the freshly made sushi. The salmon roe was just so fresh that they were actually shining like marbles. All the ingredients used are high quality. My kid, who is usually picky on food, was pleased with the menu. He already wanted to come back again. Next time, we will stay here for more nights in order to better experience the beauty of Kusatzu.

UUtente ospiteExcellent stay! Hotel may be old but the facilities are up to date and clean. Service from staff is also generally good. 7mins walk to Sainokaiwara Park via the short cut. It’s a 15mins walk from Yubatake and you’ll need to walk up a slope to get to the hotel, may be strenuous for those with luggages. There’s a shuttle bus to and fro hotel to Yubatake every hourly, refer to photo. There’s even a shuttle bus to Takasaki train station, so ask the staff for details. Breakfast in hotel is excellent and very homely, overall enjoyed my stay here and will recommend friends to come!

UUtente ospiteQuesto è un posto favoloso per un'autentica vacanza giapponese. La posizione è splendida. L'area termale esterna è pulita e sembra un set cinematografico. I pasti inclusi sono abbondanti e deliziosi. La nostra camera si affacciava sul fiume ed era fantastica. Pavimenti in tatami e finestre con zanzariere shoji. Questo è un luogo antico e storico e non soddisfa gli standard occidentali. Si dorme su futon sul pavimento. È disponibile solo cibo giapponese. Ma è un posto meraviglioso dove trascorrere un po' di tempo.

WWON桑Se si desidera sperimentare un vero alloggio di stile tatami giapponese e camminare in yukata tradizionale, questa è una scelta grande. L'hotel è convenientemente situato vicino a tutte le fonti calde, e gli alloggi qui includono un ricchio pranzo e colazione. E 'molto consigliato per le famiglie o le coppie che viaggiano insieme. Lo consiglio molto!

UUtente ospiteOttimo onsen, posizione e cibo, c'è un grande supermercato a G/F e un 7-11 vicino. Basta camminare dal principale edificio all'allegato edificio per il pasto e onsen, un po' di sconvenienza per gli anziani con problemi di dolore alle gambe. E i distillatori di acqua al piano di nose sono fuori servizio, una macchina da caffè al salone non funziona neanche, mentre il mio soggiorno all'hotel.

There was a staff who rushed out to us and asked if we were going to stay at the Ryokan. Very helpful for lost travelers overwhelmed by the cold weather. Greeted us warmly when we arrived. Explained the important information to us as best as they could in English, which is perfectly fine.
Room was big. Decorated meticulously in the traditional Japanese style. Yukata and Obi provided added on to the immersive experience.
Dinner was exquisite. Dishes gave us a taste of what traditional Japanese cuisine was like. The food was sincere (didn’t feel like frozen / canned / ready made food), served and plated meticulously.
There were 2 onsens, indoor and outdoor. They were clean and spacious enough. Water (I believe) is from the hot spring nearby and was immensely therapeutic.
Ryokan was near the heart of the town and everything was within walking distance.
Kindly shuttled us to the bus terminal when we checked out (we didn’t have to wait for fixed timings) and carried our (heavy) luggage.
All in all, we enjoyed the one night stay very much and they set a high bar for Japanese hospitality.

I strongly encourage the private onsen package where we can taste three different type of onsen in the hotel.
My platinum ring changed colour, may be due to the acidity of onsen water😂.
The dinner and breakfast inspired and it is good for family trip with a number of accessible service for elderly with physically limitations.

UUtente ospiteQuesto è stato il mio primo e solo soggiorno in un ryokan, quindi non ho molto da confrontarlo. Ho scelto questo alloggio a causa dei gatti e buone recensioni sul cibo. I gatti erano davvero dolci e mi piaceva giocare con loro. Ho 2 gatti da me, quindi è stato davvero bello. Il cibo era così bello e delizioso - la zuppa di funghi a cena era fantastica. Mi è davvero piaciuto. Le camere da bagno private erano molto comode e aperte 24 ore. La posizione era molto vicina alla zona centrale e una passeggiata veloce per tutti i siti importanti, compresa la stazione degli autobus. L'unico commento che ho avuto è stato che la mattina qualcuno fumava e l'odore è arrivato ****** nel secondo piano, quindi forse dovremmo prestare maggiore attenzione per assicurarsi che il fumo rimanga fuori. L'ospite era così bello e dolce e ho usato Google Translate per chiedere domande. I macinati matcha sono così deliziosi ho comprato una scatola per portarmi.
