Giappone: hotel con internet nella provincia di Prefettura di Fukushima

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The first great point is the proximity to the Fukushima Station. When I arrived, my check-in process was handled by the Manager, Matsuda-san. He was very friendly and warm. The room I stayed in was decently-sized, giving me enough room to walk around with a large suitcase and other bags on the floor. A suitcase stand and a small stool are provided. The beige wallpaper provided a nice contrast to the dark carpet. The controls for the room were absolutely fantastic - I could, for instance, adjust the brightness of the main light and the strength of the bathroom exhaust fan. The bathroom was slightly cramped, but I managed. An alarm clock is also provided for guests. The default blanket in the room was far too hot; even with the heating turned off, I felt like I was being roasted while I was in bed with the blanket covering me (and this was in winter!). I didn't like the default pillow either, it was too hard. On my last night, I requested a thinner blanket and softer pillow. Thankfully, the hotel was able to provide them, and I slept much better after using the new blanket and pillow. Funnily enough, the mattress was also quite hard, but it didn't give me any problems. The sound insulation was fantastic, and the cleaning staff were super quiet! I almost couldn't tell that they were outside my room doing their work! I also very likely had considerate Japanese guests on my floor, hence the peace. Nearby the hotel is S-Pal, where you can buy all sorts of prepared meals (if you're lucky, you can find a few vegan options). There's also a large pharmacy, and there are many convenience stores around. The main complaint I have is that the check-out time @ 10:00 is too early. I think 12:00 would be a better time. I did not have breakfast at the hotel, nor did I use any of the facilities, so I have no comment on those. I definitely recommend Hotel Route-Inn Grand Fukushima Ekimae to others, and I will definitely consider staying at Route-Inn hotels in other parts of Japan! Side Notes: (1) If you have large luggage and arrive at the Fukushima Station, you'll have to take the elevator at the west exit, and when you reach the ground floor you'll see another elevator about 20 metres in front of you (slightly to the left). This second elevator will take you to the underground passage, which you can use to get to the east side of the station, where Route-Inn Grand Fukushima is located. Do note that there is a rear entrance to the hotel (next to a public parking lot), and this will save you from walking to the front of the hotel with all your luggage. (2) Vegan options in Fukushima are unfortunately extremely limited, but you can find some vegan tofu bars and a few other items at 7-Eleven...but be sure to use Google Lens to translate the ingredients!

One of the best onsen hotel we stay. The river view from the room is soothing. The hotel is just beside the river with a mini waterfall.  They have private onsen which you could book for free one time for an each night   stay.  We enjoy our stay very much. Super relax. The breakfast and dinner are delicious too.

Overall a nice hotel, very close to the JR train station, just a couple of minutes walk away. The room size was very generous a lot bigger than others we’ve stayed at in Japan. The bathroom was also very spacious with a full size bath and powerful shower. The hotel provides nightwear and toiletries as well as coffee and laundry. Breakfast has a good variety of choices although can we quite busy as peak times and items do run out. I would recommend as a good convenient choice if travelling by train.

Visitata con la famiglia durante il picco estate luglio. I positivi: L'hotel era pulito e il check-in era disponibile in tempo. La stanza era pulita, ben isolata e piena di luce naturale. Sii pronta a pagare l'eccedenza per la maggior parte delle cose che potrebbe pensare di essere incluso.

Fun place for couples! The private bath was just as nice. Great experience to bath in the onsen with nature.

新しくオシャレ、部屋も清潔で綺麗、そして朝ごはんのブッフェがどれも最高に美味しかったです！福島ならではのイカ人参やクリームボックスもあったり、凝ったグリーンカレーも、全部本当に美味しかったです。 地下に大浴場がありましたがパウダールームも別であり、快適でした。また漫画やマッサージチェアのあるリラックスルームもありました。 注意としては、大きいお部屋の数が少ないので、3-4人で泊まる際は大きいお部屋が埋まりやすく、埋まっていたら2部屋に分かれて取る必要がある事。 そして隣の部屋や廊下の音はしなかったですが、ホテルの目の前が飲み屋さん？なので、夜中に酔っ払いの声が聞こえました。 そしてシンプルで素敵なお部屋ですが、お手洗いとお風呂は特にコンパクトです。 また是非泊まりたいです！

La stanza in stile giapponese ha un bellissimo ambiente, ordinato e pulito, e mi piace molto la posizione dello specchio per il trucco. La cena è fornita nell'alloggio, ho dimenticato di informare in anticipo l'hotel che la mia famiglia non mangia carne di manzo, ma il personale ha immediatamente aiutato a cambiarla con i frutti di mare e il servizio è stato comunque molto dedicato. Non ci sono state lamentele o insoddisfazioni mi sono sentito molto dispiaciuto per aver aumentato il carico di lavoro del personale. Anche se è una certa distanza dalla stazione JR, l'hotel dispone di un bus navetta, che può essere fornito previa registrazione con un giorno di anticipo.

The hotel is very good with great proximity to the ski  place. The room is clean and cosy with great views. And the onsen is very good that it had long opening hours, we can go after the ski to relax.  However, it would be better if the guest had a choice of whether the room can be made everyday or after we left. And it will be even better if more variety of restaurants/ cur-sine  can be provided rather than just buffet.

Ho controllato 10 minuti prima, ma la stanza era pronta per l'arrivo. Il personale era carino quando cercavano di comunicare con me, anche se non sono bravo in giapponese. La stanza era bella, ma quando stavo cercando un caso di orecchini, ho smesso sotto il letto, ho scoperto che era un po'polvere. Il colazione era di stile giapponese che costava solo 550 yen e era delizioso. Le ho chiesto di non pulire la mia stanza durante il mio soggiorno, così hanno appena messo una borsa di servizio alla porta per la seconda notte. Ho avuto anche l'opportunità di utilizzare i lavastoviglie e le macchine di asciugatura che funzionavano bene. L'hotel è vicino alla stazione Iwaki, così è stato facile prendere l'autobus e il treno. Mi è davvero piacere rimanere lì.

This getaway was exactly what I wanted. Traditional, immersive, comfortable, accomodating. The staff came and greeted us in the car park, the dinner and breakfast was amazing, delicious, adventurous. And the onsen on the roof was perfect! The staff thoroughly explained their processes. I spoke some japanese and they spoke only some english but they were very accomating with us and welcoming. I would highly recommend and its also not far from town either. It snowed a little the night we stayed and it was so magical! We had our own private onsen at our room but the others in the ryokan are even better and available to be private, just lock door when your using.
