Grecia: hotel con internet nella provincia di Egeo Meridionale

Hotel delizioso, molto centrale a Fira. Abbiamo soggiornato sul lato hotel di Antonia e ci è piaciuto l'arredamento della camera. Abbiamo apprezzato il fatto che avessero delle persiane all'esterno per aiutare a tenere il rumore e la luce della camera. La camera era ben arredata con molte luci e ci è piaciuto l'arredamento. Il letto e i cuscini erano molto comodi e abbiamo apprezzato il fatto che ci fosse una postazione per caffè/tè e un minifrigo in camera. La camera era abbastanza grande per noi due e c'era un bel balconcino esterno con un tavolino e due sedie. La doccia del bagno aveva un'ottima pressione e molta acqua calda. Il letto aveva solo un lenzuolo ma c'era un piumone e la temperatura era facile da controllare. C'erano delle pantofole disponibili in camera che erano buone per il pavimento freddo del bagno. Le camere dell'hotel hanno delle smart TV facili da collegare per Disney+ o Netflix, ma devi installare un'applicazione se vuoi fare lo screencast. L'hotel ha delle belle aree comuni dove passare il tempo, tra cui due aree piscina e uno spazio vicino alla reception. Le piscine erano chiuse quando siamo arrivati ​​a marzo, ma faceva anche un po' freddo, quindi non ci è importato. Dovrebbero essere pulite e pronte per l'estate. Abbiamo apprezzato molto lo spazio vicino alla reception, dove ci sono molti posti a sedere e panchine per sedersi e passare del tempo con gli altri ospiti o, nel nostro caso, con il resto della famiglia. Ogni volta che ti trovi nell'area comune, il personale si offre di prepararti un caffè o un tè, il che è stato molto gentile da parte loro. Il personale è sincero e accogliente. Una volta che abbiamo fatto il check-in, ci hanno chiesto se avevamo tempo o se volevamo andare direttamente nelle nostre stanze. Abbiamo detto che avremmo avuto tempo e hanno tirato fuori una mappa di Santorini e hanno segnato i posti che potevamo visitare durante il nostro soggiorno. L'hotel offre anche un buon tour dell'isola per 40 euro a persona che include 7 fermate tra cui Oia, una spiaggia di sabbia rossa, una spiaggia di sabbia nera e il monastero. Eravamo in 5 nel nostro gruppo e abbiamo fatto il nostro tour utilizzando una compagnia di autonoleggio nelle vicinanze, ma prenderemmo in considerazione il tour dell'hotel se fossimo solo una coppia. Il personale dell'hotel è stato disponibile e reattivo anche prima del nostro arrivo: ci hanno assistito con un errore di prenotazione che avevo fatto e lo abbiamo risolto rapidamente al telefono e con una breve e-mail. Il trasporto da/per l'hotel dall'aeroporto è facile perché c'è una stazione degli autobus nelle vicinanze e costa 2 euro a persona e la stazione degli autobus è a circa 5 minuti a piedi dall'hotel. L'autobus non passava molto spesso durante il nostro soggiorno a Santorini e se questo è il caso durante il tuo soggiorno puoi prenotare il servizio navetta dell'hotel: hanno un grande e comodo furgone e fanno pagare 7 euro a persona. L'alternativa è un taxi e sei alla volontà dell'autista per i circa 10 minuti di viaggio e potresti farti pagare 40-50 da quello che sentiamo. L'hotel non offre colazione o servizio in camera, ma ci sono molti buoni ristoranti nelle vicinanze. L'hotel ne ha consigliati alcuni che erano a cinque minuti a piedi dall'hotel e quello che abbiamo provato era delizioso. C'è un negozio di alimentari a circa 100 m dall'hotel che ha praticamente tutto e c'è una panetteria vicino alla piazza principale di Fira. I souvenir possono essere acquistati anche a Fira Main Square e probabilmente hanno i prezzi migliori che abbiamo visto a Santorini per i souvenir! Nel complesso, è stato un soggiorno fantastico e poiché siamo rimasti a marzo abbiamo ottenuto un prezzo fantastico. La camera che avevamo era bella, tranquilla e comoda durante il nostro soggiorno.

It's my 2nd time in Santorini and after doing some research, I decided to stay in this area of Imerovigli -- and I'm so so happy to have found this family hotel Annio. *LOCATION*: Imerovigli has much less tourists compared to Oia and Fira, yet still super easy to get to the bus or call a taxi. This hotel, just like many others in Santorini, is down the slope and down a private access only paths, so always some small walk and hike up and down (this is part of Santorini / Greek island experience!) *VIEW* (the BEST part: SUNSET ): super beautiful with the view into the Caldera / Aegean sea (SUNSET VIEW WITH NO OBSTRUCTION, can directly view sunset in the room/ terrace space, as my photos attached here show all the 180 degree view you get to see, directly on your door step! *HOTEL DECOR*: it is a traditional Greek style '' CAVE HOUSE ” which is something you won't have anywhere else outside of Greece, so I don't see the point of staying in those modern style hotel (my personal opinion) The BATHTUB on the terrace which is dedicated to our room's use, is such a wonderful arrangement, we were enjoying the sunset and sunrise while being inside the tub, it's fantastic if you like to take some IG photos! lol! *KITCHENETTE/ Tips about BREAKFAST*: actually this hotel doesn't own a central kitchen but the room is equipped well with kitchenette too in case you wish to prepare food yourself. For us -- with an easy walk up, we took our own breakfast pastries/ coffees as takeaway and enjoyed directly on our private terrace which has a 180 degree view of the caldera with no obstruction! What a way to enjoy our breakfast!! (again, great for photos too!!) *REAL SANTORINIAN, A FAMILY BUSINESS HOTEL* : on our last day, we asked Georgia to help us with some photos around her beautiful Cave House hotel space, she was telling us about the history of the island, about the hotel business, about her family, it was one of the most memorable moments of the trip in Santorini I must say. I was a bit shocked to learn also during the stay, their grandfather was an important architect for the community -- not only built the hotel by himself way back in the days, but he was also the architect who built a close-by blue dom church and bell tower! These guys are real Santorini locals, 100% authentic and I am sooooo happy to have found them! *TIPS about taxi service*: we came to Santorini by flight and Georgia offered to send a taxi to pick us up from the airport, it was a must for us as we arrived in the evening. We checked afterwards, they did not over-charge us at all which is good to know -- it's with standard rates across the island (fixed prices for various routes e.g. airport to Imerovigli one price, Oia to Fira another price, etc. no meter) So in case of doubt, you save a lot of time and effort by just going with Annio hotel's taxi booking and they are very honest about this. OVERALL: I don't normally write such long comments about hotels, but this one, with the stunning sunset view, the little pebbles-lined private paths, the Greek architecture, the family history story, ... this hotel ANNIO really touched our hearts and I know they somehow don't get a lot of reviews and they don't have the time and effort to invest into search algorithm, so I just hope that this comment will help them and help you all travellers/ honeymooners to get to discover this little authentic Santorinian gem! Without a second thought I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Unfortunately, our stay at Argo Boutique Hotel was quite disappointing, especially considering that it is advertised as a 4-star hotel. There were some positive aspects: the bed was comfortable, the breakfast had a reasonable variety of options, and we appreciated the two complimentary bottles of water provided on the first day. However, several issues significantly affected our stay. The bathroom sink was blocked, which is not something we would expect from a 4-star hotel. Our room had a balcony directly facing the hotel and the street. Because of the lack of privacy and the high level of exposure, keeping the windows open was uncomfortable for most of the time we were in the room. In my opinion, this type of room should only be allocated when there are no other rooms available. This was not our situation, as we had booked several months in advance and it did not appear to be one of the last rooms available. The soundproofing was also very poor. We could hear a lot of noise from the neighbouring rooms and the corridors, including conversations and, particularly, doors constantly slamming. When guests in the rooms next to us closed their doors, the noise was loud enough to wake us up. This was especially frustrating during the night and early in the morning, and significantly affected the quality of our sleep. The internet was another significant issue. There was essentially no Wi-Fi connection in the room and, unfortunately, even using mobile data was not a viable alternative, as 5G/mobile coverage was also extremely poor inside the room. The Wi-Fi was also frequently unavailable in the breakfast area. For a hotel of this category, this was particularly disappointing. The payment process was also not quite what we expected. When making the reservation, we selected “Pay at the property” and intended to pay the full amount in cash at check-in. However, we were first required to pay 50% in advance, and the hotel subsequently continued attempting to charge the remaining balance to the card before our arrival. We eventually paid the outstanding amount in cash upon arrival, as originally intended. Had I not blocked the card from being charged, the payment would have gone through. This was frustrating, particularly given that the reservation had been made with the “Pay at the property” option. The breakfast was varied enough in terms of choice, but the quality was rather average and the selection did not change much from day to day. For example, the fruit was the same every day, which becomes quite limiting when staying for several days. The breakfast area is also very small and not particularly well organised for the number of guests, making it feel crowded at busy times. We only used the pool once, as it is in a shaded area by the end of the day. We did not use the spa, as this requires an additional payment. Overall, although there were some positives, I don’t feel that our experience reflected the standard I would expect from a 4-star hotel — at least not in the room we were given. Considering the price, the fact that we had booked several months in advance, and the hotel’s category, we expected considerably more.

Ma era piuttosto fredda.Il bagno sembra incoraggiare un paio di docce con due teste da doccia e un sacco di spazio nel bagno.  La stanza non era troppo lontana dalla parte superiore della strada da camminare, così che andava e usciva facilmente.  Il jacuzzi all'aperto è il sole di giardino, la vista è stata solo memorizzata, abbiamo avuto il nostro colazione sul balcone e è stato solo grande.  Il personale è stato ancora una volta utile e cortese.

We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately left with a very bad impression due to the main receptionist's service . When we arrived, we waited for a while without receiving any greeting or acknowledgment from this receptionist, who was busy selling tours to other guests. After us, two more guests arrived. Still, there was no greeting from the front desk—the only person who showed any kindness was a quiet staff member who noticed I was thirsty and offered water to everyone. Soon after, another customer came in asking to hire a car, saying he didn't want to jump the queue. Instead of attending to us first, the receptionist immediately prioritized his car rental request. When it was finally our turn, the same receptionist gave us our key. The room was right by the front entrance with no views at all. However, as I went back to reception, I heard her telling two newly arrived guests, ”You will be able to see the sunrise from your room.” I asked if we could also have a room with a view. She was visibly reluctant and pointed out that she had given us a slightly bigger room, but eventually swapped our key. The new room had a much better perspective toward the pool, a distant blue-domed church, and sea views in the distance. On a positive note, the housekeeping staff was great throughout our stay, providing good housekeeping service and keeping everything very clean. The worst incident happened at breakfast. Santorini mornings are very cold and windy. The same receptionist ordered the same quiet staff member to open the large sliding door completely, letting in a freezing gust of wind. The quiet helper softly mentioned in Greek that guests were cold, but the receptionist refused and insisted on keeping it open. When my husband tried to push the door slightly closed to block the draft, the receptionist immediately snapped at him in a voice so loud and clear that all the other guests could hear, telling him, ”Don't close it.” However, 5 minutes later, she returned with the quiet helper to close it halfway—showing she knew all along that keeping it wide open was uncomfortable. Shortly after, another male receptionist spoke to the helper, and she closed the door almost completely, leaving only a tiny gap. I made sure to thank the quiet, considerate helper after breakfast for her kindness despite the situation. A hotel in hospitality should never treat guests with such rudeness and arrogance, and this woman should not be serving guests at the front desk. The location is also slightly farther from the town center than expected. Due to the poor service at reception, I would not recommend staying here.

Excellent service, stunning views, very pretty hotel, highly recommended! The most handsome manager contacted us before our arrival to arrange a pick-up service. When we landed at the airport, George the driver was already waiting for us with a name sign — so convenient and stress-free. He drove us to the nearest drop-off point near McDonald's, and from there, handsome manager and Edward the porter was already there waiting for us. it was just a 5-minute walk to the hotel. Edward helped carry our luggage from the roadside all the way to the room, and did the same when we checked out. Such thoughtful service! During check in, handsome manager was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, taking the time to explain the nearby attractions and facilities in detail. It was clear that he genuinely cares about his guests. Our room was on the higher floor of the building, offering exceptional privacy. The space was absolutely beautiful — a two-level unit with a breathtaking view of the caldera and the volcano island. The hot tub was a highlight. The water was wonderfully warm, and since March was a bit chilly, soaking in the tub became the most relaxing part of each day. We spent hours in there, enjoying the panoramic volcano view — absolutely perfect. The unit itself was spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. The toiletries — shampoo, body lotion, and so on — were from a lovely brand with such a rich, elegant fragrance. As soon as we walked into the room, we were greeted by that beautiful scent. It felt fresh, special, and incredibly romantic. Breakfast was served with a sheet where you could tick your choices, and you could select different items each day — a lovely touch. The breakfast itself was generous and delicious. The hotel is run by a small, dedicated team. The same gentleman Mr Edward who helped carry our luggage also took care of breakfast, room maintenance,, and more. Everyone we met was always smiling, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Their hospitality made our stay truly special — honestly one of the very best experiences I've ever had. As for the stairs — yes, there are some steps to reach the hotel, but this is Santorini. If you're expecting a flat walk everywhere, this probably isn't the right island for you. In the context of Santorini, the stairs here are absolutely nothing to worry about. The location is actually very convenient — you can walk along the cliffside path or head down to the old port, and take the cable car back up, which is fun and easy. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Santorini.

Positives: We stayed in a Bungalow Family Room which was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a lovely outdoor area. It was quiet and peaceful. Towels were changed and bins emptied daily. The hotel is perfect for families with younger children (up to about 8 years old). We went with two boys (4 and 8), and they loved it. The two slides kept them entertained, and the beach bar was excellent—always cocktails and snacks available. There were plenty of sun loungers, especially on the beach, with no need to wake up early to reserve. That made the stay very relaxing. The entertainment team was great—friendly, not pushy, and always offering activities. They were amazing with children, and the mini disco was the best we’ve seen so far, with all the staff putting their heart into it. Evening entertainment suited all ages, and we especially enjoyed the beach party. Negatives: While most of the staff were lovely and smiley, the reception team was disappointing (except the lady who did our check in efficiently on the evening we arrived and explained everything). On several occasions when I asked questions, they seemed abrupt and in a hurry, even when no one else was waiting. The biggest drawback was the food. It really needs improvement and is the main reason for the lower rating. Most meats were dry, with little variety. Even simple dishes like Greek salad were below standard. The buffet was very pork-heavy, which made it difficult for us on some days since we don’t usually eat pork. Desserts were the worst part, mostly inedible, just cream and jelly-like options. The wine was also very low quality. Another issue was cleanliness of the public bathrooms, especially those near the pool. They were not well maintained, and I even saw a cockroach in one of them. Our room also had these tiny worm like snakes (apparently harmless and called ”blind snakes”) We first thought it was one that lost her way but we ended up finding one or two everyday and getting them out. We did ask someone to come and sort it out, but they told us they were harmless and didn't do anything other than getting them out. We love the sustainability concept and appreciate that they grow their own vegetables, but unfortunately, we didn’t see this reflected in the meals. It made us wonder if it might be a bit of a waste of time and money, since the menu didn’t seem to highlight those fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. As a whole, we felt everything about the hotel except the food was great but on this basis, we wouldn't come again.

Everything is just fine and perfect—the hotel, the location, everything is just perfect. The people are so nice, but there was one thing missing. We had a problem with the AC, and we asked for their help twice (we needed to turn it off, and it wouldn't turn off, so we asked them). They came, checked, and then left, and they never came back or did anything. It was a little disappointing. Other than that, nothing—everything was on point.

This hotel is special. So great. I strongly recommend the room with exclusive balcony. It was so nice, the view is splendid, you can see panorama view only with your company. The breakfast at the room is also great. Staffs are so kind, facility is perfect.
