Sono stato in questo hotel per lavoro per circa 3–4 giorni e il soggiorno è stato davvero piacevole. La struttura è molto pulita e la stanza confortevole, perfetta per riposare dopo una giornata impegnativa.
Il personale è estremamente attento ai dettagli: una mattina sono uscito indossando delle scarpe di pelle e, al mio rientro, ho trovato un biglietto in cui mi informavano di aver lasciato in camera delle salviette apposite per pulirle. Un gesto semplice ma di grande cortesia, che dimostra la cura e la sensibilità dello staff.
Consiglio assolutamente questo hotel. E sicuramente ci ritornerò.

The hotel entrance is a bit hidden in a small alleyway and you need to walk up to the third floor via stairway. The location is very convenient near the pedestrian shopping street. Plenty of great food options nearby. The metro is a short walk away. The staff is very helpful and generous. The room is clean and modern with a large projector screen for watching movies. I would recommend this place for solo travelers

Prima di andare, puoi chiamare 🤳🏻 per assicurarsi che sia la stanza di zuppa privata a sud e a nord. Alcuni stanze sono in buona privacy. È possibile vedere di sotto al piano di sopra.
L'hotel è molto nuovo, l'atteggiamento del servizio della ricetta è buono, la signorina sorella guiderà alla scala.La stanza è molto spaziosa, non ha un odore distintivo, il frigorifero prepara l'acqua minerale e altre bevande gratis; prepara anche la carta elettrica da solo, non preoccuparsi che le persone non si rompono il condizionamento della stanza; La piastra di funzionamento della piscina di zuppa nel cortile è anche molto semplice, adattando la temperatura dell'acqua in base alle esigenze; il servizio di soggiorno con il bagno gratis (due pezzi di yogurt, mel e pepe di pecora); la TV in camera può anche collegare il commutatore è molto felice; L'esperienza è dettagliata ovunque, mi sento bene ♨️
Il tempo di viaggio è molto breve, quindi non ho mai avuto modo di sperimentare la piscina pubblica e il centro di intrattenimento caldo all'aperto. Ho sentito che ci sono cinema, palla da tavolo, gara d'albergo, spa, bagno, ecc.Le famiglie con i bambini possono anche correre direttamente, e ci sono aree in cui i bambini possono sperimentare.

La stanza è molto buona, le strutture sono complete, pulite e luminose, buona igiene, posizione eccellente, trasporto conveniente, la stanza è visibile al centro turistico, 20 metri dalla stazione di autobus e aeroporti, sotto la piazza commerciale di Wanda e la strada di cibo, meno di cinque minuti da Hu Jiao Xiang. Il piccolo fratello della reception dell'hotel è molto attento e il servizio è attento. Si consiglia molto di sentirlo!Piu'Yiqi vivrà qui.

Molto buon hotel, tranne che con l'interruttore di TV a finestra senza controllo vocale, altre strutture sono molto complete. La pulizia è pulita e l'ambiente è bello, che alcune strade sono incoerenti con l'hotel. L'atteggiamento del servizio è buono, soprattutto vale la pena ricordare che la colazione è particolarmente ricco, ci sono cibo cinese e cibo occidentale, il ristorante cinese dell'hotel ha un sapore autentico di ”vecchia strada”, ha piccoli piatti adatto per il cibo dei popoli e un rapporto di prezzo molto alto.Il parcheggio sotterraneo è anche conveniente.L'esperienza di soggiorno è buona.

Abbiamo soggiornato all'East Lake Hotel, Tingtao 2#, per tre notti in agosto 2025, è stato grande, molto raccomandato ! L'Hotel East Lake è noto per la sua bella scena, come si aspettava, la vista era assolutamente stupenda, ma ciò che era meglio della vista è il miglior servizio clienti. La signora Yu ci ha dato le sue informazioni di contatto WeChat, in modo da poter raggiungere facilmente. La signora Yu era professionale e cortese, andò sopra e oltre per assicurarsi che il nostro soggiorno fosse perfetto, qualsiasi preoccupazione/problema che avevamo, l'ha gestita rapidamente, anche aiutando con il lavanderia! Abbiamo soggiornato in altri hotel a Cinque stelle a Wuhan, Pechino e Shanghai, ma nessun altro hotel ha fornito questo livello di servizio. Infine, il loro buffet di colazione è stato il migliore dei 6 hotel che abbiamo soggiornato per questa visita. Il mio preferito è stato il porridge di vino di riso dolce e le ricette dolce.

It has the most amazing location; it is very close to the subway and a large mall for your needs. The service is great they were welcoming and nice and very helpful.
Overall, the room were clean and neat, the surrounding is quiet for resting. Their breakfast was good, it has Wuhan traditional noodles.

SShalinda WIf you don’t speak the local language, I do not recommend staying at this hotel. It was incredibly difficult getting both on, and off the mountain “scenic area”. Some hotels in Trip reached out to us in advance to help coordinate transportation, this one does not. Your only way to contact the hotel is by calling, which isn’t feasible if you don’t speak the language. The hotel website showed that parking was available, so I thought we would be able to get there by DiDi, as long as I paid the fee to get the car into the park. This was not the case. We did see private vehicles, but I’m not sure what goes into that, but I believe 4 wheel drive is one requirement. So with our luggage, he dropped us off at the base of the mountain. It took a little while to get to the ticket office, you have to walk up several stairs and through a cobblestone market to get there, so we got nice and sweaty and uncomfortable. From there, you take a bus (ours had no underside luggage stowage) about halfway up to another stop. We had to awkwardly hold our luggage in the aisle of a full bus, while going up-hill and doing switch-backs. Everyone gets off about halfway-way up, at a station with several different buses. We asked for help and someone pointed us to the correct one. From the final bus stop up top, it was a short walk to the hotel. We figured going down would be much smoother, but after getting off the first bus, we accidentally got on the wrong one and started going back up. Overall, took us about 2.5 hours from the airport to the hotel, then just over three hours from hotel to the HSR station.
Minor descriptions for the room were inaccurate. Ours was listed as on floor 3 or 4, it was actually basement level. The hotel is in the edge of the mountain, so it still had a scenic view. The window in our room was dirty (I expected more for what we were paying). The hand soap in the bathroom was in a re-used bottle and was watered down. Listed amenities said sauna and massage room, there are neither here (nor was there an offer of other local places to go when I asked).
The breakfast food was amazing, including a hot, fresh bar with a chef making eggs and noodles. I wasn’t able to partake in the noodles one day because of the language barrier. Hotel staff was more hesitant than other places we’ve stayed in using translation tools and I felt like too much of an inconvenience in using them to ask for noodles. There is bottled water in the rooms, you can ask for more for free (they friended me via WeChat on Check-In and is largely how we communicated). There is free tea and snacks in the afternoon, the hotel was quiet so we were able to take up one of two seats that had an amazing view outside. The staff working the tea time was great and super courteous. You can hike to South Crag Palace and Nanyan Palace by foot, both are absolutely stunning.
In summary, if we were to visit the area again, I would stay at a hotel at the bottom of the mountain (not in the scenic area) and use the day exploring/getting lost on the bus. While the view was great, it simply wasn’t worth the high price and the difficulty in getting there for non-locals. If I knew a hotel in the scenic area would reach out to me in advance to assist, then I would go for it. But unfortunately, with the way Trip.com works right now, hotels have to initiate that, guests cannot. I don’t recommend this hotel for non-native speakers.

KKaz T.Had a lovely stay at Yicheng. From entry the front desk team welcomed us warmly and provided hot coffee/team as we were checking in. Room was great and the beds were comfortable. We booked a family room and the room was spacious enough even we had 6 luggages as we are travelling for a month. Breakfast was also good with fair choices and we had a lovely lady looking after us for the few days we stayed. The hotel was fairly close to the shopping centres but still a 10 to 15 minute walk but overall we had a great stay.

UUtente ospiteThe Hotel is located in a Building that consists of 5 hotels, and it takes the top several floors, which makes a really nice view of the city. Room is clean and the bed is really comfortable. Really like the memory foam pillow and have a really good sleep. The staffs are really nice and helpful. Recommended Hotel and will stay there again if I visit Wuahn in the future.

Just noted a few things: The AC on the room was not working well, it was too warm we had to transfer to a new room. Then the new room we transferred to was smaller. AC was ok. The problem though was the sheets have old and musty smell and the tub drain was broken. Quite an experience for a Continental Club/VIP suite. Oh by the way, no bidet 😆

Overall, the service was excellent. Staff members were attentive and quick to address any concerns. A special shoutout to COCO who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. She was proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed, making our experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, Manager APRIL deserves high praise for all the wonderful arrangements she made for our visit.
Conclusion:**
Somerset Hotel is a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the city. With its friendly staff, great amenities, and prime location, we would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, yet convenient getaway. We’ll definitely consider returning in the future!

I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings.
First impressions
- Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to.
- Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps.
Room and comfort
- The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board.
- Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch “budget-first” like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosure—but nothing deal-breaking.
- Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didn’t notice any telltale corners being overlooked. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess.

- Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. They stood by for recommendations on dining and local spots without turning the conversation into a sales pitch. When I asked for directions or a printout of an itinerary, they were efficient and patient.

It's flawless and by far the best hotel i have stayed in China and in my life.
Firstly, when i stepped in, the front desk lady (小慧）was so friendly and patient to bribg me through the check in process smoothly and professionally. She patiently explained all the details and services available such as free meal services delivered by robot to room, free airport shuttle, breakfast timing and free laundry services.
Secondly, when stepped into the room, the room was so modern, sparkling clean and hi-tech. There was no foul smeel and smoking smell. Fruits (banana and madarain oranges) and some snacks were provided for free. The curtain can be open or close eith a press of the button beside the bed. The warm pressure and temperature are just right and functioning well almost instantaneously. The toilet bowl is also high tech and equipped with sensor and remote control that can heat up your cold butt in cold winter and wash your butt after your business.
Thirdly, there's a cute little robot that can accurately deliver meals to your roon! So cool!
Lastly, the breakfast buffet was sumptuous and amazing. Also the best i have had staying in China. Many varieties from small xakes, pastries, dim sum, vegetables, noodles, rice, salad, tea leaves, coffee, fruits, yogurt, juices, porridge and etc. The dining ambience is also relaxing and nice although it will be perfect if smoking is disallowed there.
Finally i also wish to extend my thank to the other frontdesk ladies who were on duty onthe night of 2 Jan 2024 and 3 Jan morning as they were also super friendly, polite and attended to my queries well. I offered a small tips of 10 yuan but they turned down as they insisted they are not supposed to accept tips. I am sad but still they are doing their job professionally and i am impressed.
