Stayed at this hotel twice. In between visits they kindly looked after our bags whilst we went to St Moritz. A very charming European hotel with lots of space in the rooms. We stayed in a larger room which had a separate lounge room. Very well priced for Zurich where absolutely everything is expensive. The staff were amazing. Don’t take this comment lightly as they were all truly exceptional. I have never experienced this homely welcome anywhere else. It really makes your stay away from home so much better. Would definitely stay again and promote to others. Well done team at Alden you should be very proud of yourselves. Please never change

It seems clear to me that the quality of customer service in travel has greatly deteriorated in the last three years. I understand that service providers have trouble finding and retaining people and the ones they have often don’t seem to take pride in their work. Sadly, I’ve come to accept this as the “new normal.” Which is why our recent three-night stay at the Park Hyatt in Zurich was such a welcome surprise. Not only was our room clean and comfortable but the service we received, from start to finish, was efficient and personal. Just a few examples: We had a flight delay and airport transfer difficulty arriving to Zurich and did not get to the hotel until after 1:00. The gentleman working the front desk who checked us in, got us waters, helped with our bags and personally escorted us to our rooms. He was also working the next night when we returned to the hotel after dinner. He spotted us coming through the lobby and literally ran over from the front desk, greeted us by name and asked if our room was acceptable and if there was anything he could do for us. The housekeeping staff are a bunch of ninjas. You never saw their carts in the hall but we’d leave in the morning and when we returned in the afternoon the room was made up. Perfectly. We’d leave for dinner and when we returned the room was turned down. Perfectly. We had drinks the first night at the Onyx Bar. When we returned the next night, the bartender remembered both our names and our drinks. We interacted on several occasions with the daytime concierge. I wish I remembered his name. It wasn’t just that he was knowledgeable about Zurich and responded immediately to our requests. He acted like speaking to us was the absolute highlight of his day. I know these are all little things but they added up to a wonderful stay. Plus, the hotel couldn’t be more conveniently located. Staying at the Park was a luxury item for us but, let’s face it, traveling anywhere in Switzerland is a luxury item. I would return to the Park for their level of personal service in a minute.

Really original, loved the modern classic deco, the restaurant at the top, and the views. The suite lacks a desk, with plugs to charge devices in the living room. Very attentive hallporters and front desk. The location is perfect and it gives you a sense of being at your own apartment in Zurich in front of the lake. Delicious chocolate on arrival as a perfect swiss welcome. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. Thank you !

I have to start this review by saying thank you for all the lovely employee's all over Switzerland, that welcomed us with a smile and professionalism, we do appreciate it. Let's start with the hotel, we actually stayed the first night of our 3 nights in Zurich at another hotel, which we did not like, and decided to come to book the Mandarin, and we're glad we did, we even postponed our flight for one more night. Again, very welcoming staff, lovely rooms and suite's. Had a nice lunch at the restaurant. The location is superb.

A lovely location near restaurants and shops. The staff at this hotel were lovely and very helpful from the reception to housekeeping to the lady at breakfast. La posizione geografica dell'hotel è buona, proprio vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, ci sono molti hotel intorno. Ma le strutture della stanza sono davvero semplici. È possibile che la casa sia meno ampia. Non ci sono arredi dell'hotel, la rivestimento e lavanderia sono un po'. Fortunatamente ho portato io stesso, non ci sono champagne o lavanderia. Il piccolo bagno può stare in piedi per una persona, tutti capiscono.La colazione è tutta una colazione fredda.

The hotel was quite strange. Upon arrival there was no staff and we had to do self check in. We were a group of 5 people with 3 rooms. We were let into the hotel via the intercom. The computer at the desk required a booking reference or QR code. Our hotel had been booked through a travel agent and we hadn’t been provided with either. So instead we had to manually input each persons details into the computer. This took absolutely ages! After travelling for quite a long time this was the last thing we wanted to spend time doing! The rooms were fairly compact, especially the bathroom. The hotel seems to have spent a lot of money on branded items in the rooms including a yoga matt and other random things - it would be better to have more staff in my opinion! The beds were very comfy though and an actual double bed instead of two singles pushed together. There was also a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was very basic and seemed understaffed as a lot of things had run out. Again for check out there was no staff at the desk do we had to self check out via the emailed invoice - this didn’t work as we had to pay the city tax so I used the phone at the desk to do this. The location of the hotel is a bit out of the centre but is easily accessed (if you have luggage) using the number 7 tram at the main railway station otherwise it is walkable. Have given this 3 stars due to the lack of staff and it being so impersonal!

L'appartamento era bello, avevamo uno studio, ogni singolo oggetto in cucina sembrava non essere mai stato usato, era immacolato e aveva tutto quello che doveva fare per cucinare un piccolo pasto per due. Il letto era molto comodo con una varietà di cuscinetti e il bagno aveva un grande bagno comodo. La zona era brillante che potevi camminare a Zurigo o prendere un autobus, tram o treno direttamente fuori dall'hotel. Ci sono anche Starbucks e supermercati con molto di tutto quello che avete bisogno. Oh e la ricezione odore davvero bello (sono spezzati)

We had a terrible experience on the second night of the stay: We went out for city tour in the morning and when we come back to the room in the afternoon, our room is like being robbed, 3 out of 4 suitcases are missing, the bathroom is only half way clean, balcony door left open, most clothes hanging in the wardrobe are missing. I called front office immediately and i have been told that housekeeping had found the door of wardrobe is broken and has a risk of falling, so for safety reason, therefore, they have transferred our suitcases to the new room. so here are the question: 1. Why there are only half of my belongings are being transferred to the new room? You either transferred all my belongings to the new room, but not just half of it, it is so scary when you back to your room which it is like a crime scene! 2. Is it normal for a luxury hotel to touch guest's personal belonging without permission of the guest? 3. If the hotel find it a safety issue inside the room, why do they still let the guest go into the room? That kind of put the guest in a dangerous environment that may get injured! 4. Have the hotel ever tried to contact the guest, by phone/email of such incident had happened in the room? or worst case, to stop me to get in to the room, when i passed by front desk before get back to the room? none of it had been done In short, this is not acceptable for any hotel, not talking about Ameron is a luxury brand, the hotel has poor risk management, this is my first time using this brand and I don't think there will be a second chance, terrible experience and even on the checked out date, no one care to ask how was my stay.

L'hotel era in una posizione molto grande, a pochi passi da casa mia moglie e volevo andare: la Chiesa di Odeon, Kronenhalle, il Lago e la Chiesa di Fraumunster. La stanza era spaziosa e il letto era grande secondo le norme europee. Mia moglie e io abbiamo goduto di un interessante arredamento intorno all'hotel, tra cui ritratti di cane e un bel cappello nella stanza. Per quanto fosse stato buono l'hotel, il direttore Jan era davvero fuori e entrambi abbiamo avuto molte conversazioni con lui. Non c'è dubbio che rimarremmo qui se avessimo mai passato attraverso Zurigo, cosa che spero facciamo.

Ci sorprendevamo di poter entrare al check-in di mattina, e quando c'era una piccola questione con la stanza non completamente pronta, si sono immediatamente spostati per ripararla e ci hanno curati al caffè e alla pasticceria mentre aspettavamo un po'. Il servizio era grande, e sono sicuro che se avessimo avuto qualche altro problema durante il nostro soggiorno, avrebbero risolto il problema al meglio della loro capacità. La camera Superior è grande con tutti i tipi di attrezzatura, ufficio e tavolo, utensili elettrici convenienti, mini frigo, caldaia elettrica e macchina Nespresso Vertuo. Le luci e le tende sono controllate da pannelli all'ingresso della camera e da ogni lato del letto.Il balcone è abbastanza grande per un tavolo e due sedie. Anche se alla fine di novembre il tempo non era buono per stare fuori, il balcone ha fornito una bella vista. Il nostro prezzo includeva il colazione, che era buono anche. Le tazze di carne, formaggio, pane e pasticceria d’uovo erano tutte deliziose. La posizione accanto alla casa dell'opera e al lago era a pochi passi dalla stazione ferroviaria più vicina e ancora a piedi a Zurigo HB.

Amazing hotel! Lovely family room with plenty of space and facilities, very comfortable beds, lovely sheets, pillows and duvets, peaceful at night, we had 3 great nights sleep in this hotel. Lovely bathroom with bath as well as separate shower. Luxurious toiletries. Beautiful shady garden where we had breakfast. Very helpful, accommodating staff. Excellent convenient location near tram stop, shopping mall, local restaurants, supermarket. Easy to get to station and central shopping district from here. Would highly recommend family room.

Questo deve essere il peggiore hotel che abbia mai soggiornato nella mia vita! Dall'inizio avrei dovuto sapere cosa era in avanti. Non c'è un ufficio di ricezione. Check in è al bar. Non c'è nessuna informazione pubblicata da nessuna parte e se si accede a un'ora normale, non troverai nessuno per aiutare. La signora che corre il posto non è da trovare da nessuna parte e gli ospiti sono lasciati a cercare per se stessi. Siamo stati li' per 4 notti e non abbiamo mai fatto pulire la nostra stanza, siamo usciti di carta da bagno e di asciugamani, e abbiamo dovuto cacciare la signora per ottenere più. La stanza era una merda sporca dal momento in cui siamo entrati. Smeraldi tazze di caffè, involucri e buste degli occupanti precedenti e abbiamo solo un pezzo di asciugamani. Il letto è in alto dalla porta del bagno, quindi se stai accanto al letto e qualcuno cammina fuori dal bagno, ti colpisce dalla porta ogni volta. L’ascensore non funzionava correttamente e fece un rumore terribile finché non avevamo paura di usarlo più; sicuramente, si fermò. La signora pulizia è stata lasciata per controllare le persone in casa, dal momento che il proprietario dormiva e non si presenta fino a tardi in pomeriggio. Il problema è che la signora pulizia parla solo spagnolo. Dovremmo aiutarla a comunicare con tre coppie separate che non potevano capirla. Non hanno mappe per aiutarti a raggiungere la città e non c'è nessuno da chiedere. In un nutshell...Non restare in questo hotel!!!! Non posso sottolinearlo abbastanza! Le foto sono ingannanti.

Sono stato qui solo per una notte, ma è stato bello. In un quartiere tranquillo molto sicuro. L'hotel utilizza il sistema di luce ecologicamente amichevole in Europa nelle camere; usa la tua carta chiave per tenere le luci in aria! Il cappuccino che mi ha fatto nel bar ”The Lobby” prima di andare a esplorare la città è forse il migliore che abbia mai goduto. Un'ottima introduzione e benvenuto per il mio viaggio. Le camere sono piccole ma accoglienti. L'ascensore potrebbe essere una sfida per coloro che hanno un sacco di bagagli.

Ho scelto questo hotel in posizione pratica per un weekend di relax e visita a parenti a Zurigo. Accessibilità con i mezzi pubblici molto buona. Registrazione rapida. Camera spaziosa e molto pulita. C'era però un problema con la finestra: quando la si apre la stessa cozza contro il controsoffitto, quindi o il controsoffitto è troppo basso o il battente della finestra troppo alta, così alla fine la si può aprire solo di pochi centimetri. È un difetto di costruzione che andrebbe corretto. Colazione eccellente. Terme e SPA molto belle e gradevoli, uno dei motivi che mi hanno spinto a scegliere proprio questo hotel. La Wine Library (dove è servita la colazione e che poi funge da bar e ristorante) è un'ambiente gradevole, i prodotti sono sicuramente di ottima qualità. Andrebbe aggiunta un'offerta di pasticceria, spuntini e simili adatti magari per accompagnare una tazza di the durante il pomeriggio. Ho infatti costatato che su questo fronte l'offerta era un po' scarsa (c'era solo la possibilità di ordinare piatti dal menu previsto per la cena, ho scelto uno dei tre dessert disponibili che comunque era molto buono).
