it was my second visit to this hotel. (first visit was 2017)
the hotel is very close to Xiamen Gaoqi airport and have small private beach. Hotel staffs are friendly.
Breakfast of restaurant in 2nd floor is nice, but 1st floor is not recommended
but for my room, room full of smells of cigarette.....
the shower water is too hot, not able to set warm. Toilet water flush is too weak.

我是來參加廈門馬拉松訂的這家酒店，一個人，想將就一下，這個酒店也比較便宜200多塊錢，也沒什麼期待，畢竟價格擺在這裏。説説我的感受，以幫助後來人，同時也為店方改善服務提供參考，達到雙贏的效果。
一、好的方面
1.衞生、硬件都不錯。房間內乾淨整潔，該有的設施都有，基本按照現代酒店的標準配置的。
2.因為馬拉松，該酒店住了不少跑馬的，酒店給送了一盒牛奶，一個香蕉。很人性化。
3.位置不錯。雖沒地鐵，但有萬達，吃喝方便。
二、不好的方面
1.最大的短板是電梯噪音。該大樓共31層，所以使用的是高速電梯，再加上樓的結構可能有問題，導致晚上大部分房間都能聽到電梯運行的聲音，夜深人靜時更明顯。
2.四號晚上，我給前台打電話説給換個房間，電梯運行聲音比較大。前台竟説沒有房間了，我看了一下攜程，上面還有房……後來我再次電話前台，説攜程顯示有房，給我換一個吧，前台説剛打掃出來一個……後來讓我看了兩個房間，我選擇了一個樓層高的，但夜深人靜時，電梯的運行聲還是挺明顯。當然電梯的問題，不是酒店的錯，電梯本身的功率和大樓結構導致的，但顧客提出要求不能這樣推諉
3.房間隔音不行。隔壁、樓上、樓道的聲音都可以聽見。很多房客回來晚，關門聲音挺大的。當然這個看運氣了，房客素質高，作息時間差不多，那就影響較小，否則還是挺吵的。
總之，200多元的價格，也衹能這樣。
總之，該酒店適合找個私密空間隨便住住，想要安靜的美美的睡覺，不太適合。當然，對噪音不在意、無所謂，也可以選擇。

Will recommend to stay here if you need to catch morning flight. Hotel provide free shuttle bus to airport. Room is comfort and spacious. hygiene level is good as well. this hotel have 2 buildings, this listing is for the building with a western restaurant. Another recommendation is to upgrade the dryer. Took a little too long to dry clothes.

La posizione non è vicino a SM City, come il nome indicato. Tuttavia, ci sono molti piatti di cibo vicino a prezzi locali. La stanza è abbastanza comoda e il servizio di ricezione è buono. WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too.
The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay.
The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself.
Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open.
The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc.
In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

One of the standout features of my stay was the complimentary laundry service. This thoughtful amenity made my trip even more convenient, allowing me to refresh my wardrobe without any hassle. It’s a fantastic perk, especially for travelers who are on the go or attending conferences.
Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast offered at the hotel. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, providing a delightful start to each day.
I also appreciated the gym facilities, which were practical and useful for maintaining my fitness routine while traveling. It had everything I needed for a good workout, making it easy to stay active during my stay.
Another unique aspect of the Mercure Hotel is the innovative use of robots to deliver food orders from ** (Meituan) directly to your room. This modern touch added a fun and convenient element to my experience, making it easy to enjoy delicious meals without leaving my room.
Lastly, the hotel features a designated space for pick-ups and drop-offs, which was incredibly convenient for my travel arrangements. It made coming and going a breeze, allowing me to focus on my activities without any stress. there are mall nearby within 2KM and it’s so cheap and convenient to just didi anywhere from here. FYI during winter most hotels in china does not have air conditioning, here offer both air conditioning and heater, which is a must for me.
Overall, I highly recommend the Mercure Hotel for anyone visiting Xiamen. The combination of a clean, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, practical gym, innovative delivery service, and excellent amenities like free laundry makes it a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

PPaNicLa posizione è ottimale e la vista dalla camera verso l'isola e in generale la baia è impagabile Il personale generalmente non parla inglese ma non è un grosso ptoblema (eventualmente si usa traduttore). La colazione a buffet è ottima da tutti i pdv e per tutti i gusti ed è servita in uno spazio molto piacevole.
La camera spaziosissima tutto molto comodo. Arredo datato ma dignitoso, molto classico.
Punti negativi: appena si entra in hotel si sente odore di fumo e da tenere presenti che solo alcune camere / piani sono non fumatori. In generale l'odore di umidità/muffa in stanza non è per nulla piacevole, migliora leggermente quando si spegne a/c ma essendo il clima caldissimo e umidissimo è difficile resistere. La moquette è un'altra caratteristica da consuderare come punto negativo soprattutto se si è allergici o sensibili.

UUtente ospiteLa posizione dell'hotel è ottima, proprio sulla strada pedonale Zhongshan Road, con comodi trasporti. Ma non so se è perché siamo al sud. Ci sono molti insetti nella stanza... All'inizio ho visto una piccola macchia nera sul lenzuolo, ho pensato che fosse qualcosa di sporco e ho dato una pacca it, ma ho scoperto che un piccolo insetto è stato ucciso... Ho visto un oggetto in movimento direttamente sul cuscino... È quasi estate, spero che riusciremo a risolvere il problema delle zanzare è abbastanza fastidioso.

EExpatThis hotel was priced above average considering the time of year and the neighboring hotels. I cannot say that my stay was very good here because of a few things. When I checked in the procedure for passport and everything was completed. They had to do the process again later that night. The water did go out while I stayed there but they fixed it within 20 minutes. The neighboring hotel and beach were doing construction, so I had lots of noise going on out my window early in the morning. The location is good because it’s close to the beach, however the dining advertised is at the hotel next to it. I did ask the Trip.com app to update the information for the hotel because the breakfast included was not what they would typically serve because they confirmed it depended on the number of guests. I could not eat the food that they offered me and they were not willing to adjust the price. trip.com offered me trip coins, however my overall stay here was disappointing because even the car gate was having delays. There were things such as maybe teabags or cotton swabs that I asked to have in the room, but none of those are offered. The view is very nice. The cleaning staff is very friendly. However their breakfast area was just an empty banquet room with empty shaving dishes and they had a family temporally making plates of whatever they decided. I definitely think this hotel needs to have some love and attention, especially considering that the neighboring hotels are upgrading their properties. I feel that the rates should’ve been lower considering all of the construction in the walkways behind the hotel. I honestly have no clue have dinner was available or not. I saw a total of three staff members there and then the family of three making the place of breakfast in the two days. The price of the hotel changed by 200 yuan in Trip.com in less than 12 hours on the day that I reserved. Only difference was that breakfast was not included.

RRam KondaIn primo luogo, siamo stati delusi perché ci hanno messo in una piccola stanza che non ci sembrava di meritare il prezzo che abbiamo pagato, ma il giorno dopo hanno messo in una bella stanza con un bagno separato e una zona doccia. C'erano grandi finestre e la vista era la strada tranquilla sotto e due piccole montagne a distanza. Non male! È stato il momento di iniziare a sentirsi comodi e rilassati nel nostro 4 notti di soggiorno qui. Il letto e le mutandine erano fermi e molto buoni per dormire. Buono per rilassarsi dopo un lungo giorno di viaggio o di lavoro. Ci era una piccola tavola da pranzo, così come un po'di spazio o di spazio per lavorare e mettere le altre cose. Il bagno è completamente automatizzato, quindi è stato molto confortevole da usare. D'altra parte, la posizione è lontana dal centro, quindi potrebbe costare un po' più se prendete spesso il didi. Inoltre, la tariffa del colazione era scarsa quando eravamo lì, probabilmente perché era ancora la stagione turistica. Non sono certo, ma per qualsiasi motivo, quando siamo arrivati al colazione alle 8:00, la maggior parte del cibo era andata; dovevamo aspettare circa 30 minuti per riempire alcune tasche con cibo mentre il resto era semplicemente vuoto. Se non ti piace il colazione locale, allora questo non è per te. In generale, è stato un piacevole soggiorno per noi.

La strada di cibo sul mare è molto conveniente per il viaggio in fondo alla strada. Il metro dell'autobus è molto vicino. Si consiglia di raccomandare il viaggio di ronzio sulla spiaggia. La stanza è comoda e spaziosa.L'igiene è pulita.Il servizio per i ragazzi della notte è buono.Vale la pena raccomandare.La prossima volta verrà.

La custodia era rapida e molto pulita. Siamo stati particolarmente impressionati da Stella e Gary per le loro eccellenti e accurate raccomandazioni di visibilità e cibo, ecc. Sempre pronti a prendere il loro tempo per spiegare dettagliatamente ogni domanda che abbiamo avuto. Ci hanno salvato molte ricerche e mal di testa, abbiamo avuto un piacevole e inoltrabile soggiorno a Xiamen! Kudos al vostro servizio!
L'hotel si trova in una posizione fantastica vicino alla strada di shopping di Zhong Shan Rd Pedestrian... molti ristoranti grandi e shopping molto piacevole esperienza sicura con molti guardie di sicurezza intorno. Mangia solo nei posti con menu di prezzo e negozio nei posti con prezzi fissi, non si sbaglia!

UUtente ospiteReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier?
Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish.
I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view.
Room was clean and nice. Slippers given.
Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them.
The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider.
The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night.
Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants.
The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently.
Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.
