Hotel in zona 8EAST, Vancouver

I found the accommodations to be suitable for a group of four, offering a comfortable space despite being slightly rundown. However, the hotel's excellent location made up for any shortcomings in the room. Overall, my experience was positive, thanks to the convenience of the location and the comfort of the room for our group.

Il paradosso è stato finora la migliore esperienza di ospite e servizio che abbiamo avuto negli anni, dalla ricezione, dal servizio in camera al valletto. Sono amichevoli, estremamente utili, ci sono dettagli che non penserete mai a pavimenti riscaldati nel bagno, aria floreale filtrata nel lavandino. Proprio nel centro della città, tutto è a piedi, le camere sono assolutamente un'oasi nel centro di una metropolitana.

First of all, very clean! We loved our stay at this hotel. It is a very well-serviced hotel with nice and trained staff. The room was very comfortable, and the access to the club was so super convenient. The view of the city is just stunning. Will definitely stay here again when I come to Vancouver again. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

Ho soggiornato qui per il mio viaggio di lavoro. La posizione è perfetta, vicino a tutto, inclusa la stazione dello skytrain e le principali linee di autobus. Il servizio è stato molto gentile e hanno accolto la mia richiesta di check-out posticipato. La camera era pulita, ha macchina per il caffè e un piccolo frigorifero. Anche il ristorante in loco era buono. Nel complesso un'esperienza molto positiva!

Mio marito e io siamo rimasti una notte al Burnaby per assistere a una cena vicino a noi, abbiamo controllato la nostra stanza e il riscaldamento era già a 68 e sembrava che funzionasse bene. Poco dopo che siamo arrivati in camera, una persona di manutenzione ha colpito la porta per vedere come funzionava il riscaldamento, che avrebbe dovuto farci entrare per quello che sarebbe successo dopo. Un po’ più tardi, l’unità ha iniziato a sputare l’aria più fredda. Potrei aggiungere che l'unità non si è mai riattaccato e si è mai accertato. Ho girato l'unità fino a circa 72 per vedere se ciò avrebbe fatto una differenza, ma non l'ha fatto. Ci siamo contattati sul desktop e entro 5 minuti, la manutenzione è venuta a controllare. Ci è stato detto che il riscaldamento doveva rimanere a 68, non più alto o non funzionava. Non ho mai sentito dire di una cosa del genere. Alta temperatura a Vancouver era a metà di 40 anni, cadere nei 30 di notte. A questo punto, era 5:30 e dovevamo uscire dalla porta per l'evento di cena al 6PM. Vorrei che avremmo chiesto una stanza diversa, perché quando siamo tornati era sicuramente più freddo nella stanza. Siamo stati tutti stanchi e abbiamo dovuto lasciare l'hotel prima di mattina, quindi abbiamo deciso di “sbarazzarlo”. Ho cercato di fare un'altra camicia e non c'era nessuna. Mi sono fatto dormire per un totale di 2 ore nel mio cappotto. Non era una comoda esperienza. Con generosità, darò questa proprietà 2 stelle, perché la stanza stessa era pulita e il letto era comodo. Il cameriere del desk ci ha concesso un sconto del 50% per il nostro disagio, che era il migliore che poteva fare, ma quando ho contattato il loro QC è stato offerto un sconto del 50% per un futuro soggiorno. Non credo che li accolgo su questa offerta, ma comunque grazie.

非常贊，非常大。就是民間別墅，然後一樓隔出幾個房間用於租賃，有廚房，有大洗衣機大烘乾機。從香港來的，600塊在香港衹能住個疙瘩房，這邊就能住大house，扎心了。交通門口就是bus，但是小貴，15塊一趟，然後再做火車去市中心，得30一趟。食物周圍也有一些，但都比香港貴一點，要6、70一餐，不過後來開會時跟本地人聊，才知道這邊這倆年物價漲了60%，所以現在才感覺比香港還貴。

Il nostro soggiorno era solo per una notte prima di prendere un volo internazionale. L'hotel era un luogo fantastico per un buon riposo prima di viaggiare. Il personale era estremamente amichevole e professionale. La stanza era pulita, moderna e confortevole con un bagno incredibile. Ci sono molti ristoranti vicino e il mercato notturno locale e il centro commerciale sono a piedi. L'aeroporto è a soli 5 minuti di auto dalle porte frontali. Si consiglia molto di questo hotel se avete bisogno di un posto per soggiornare prima di viaggiare.

La stanza era semplice e pulita. Il piano di livello in bagno potrebbe essere meglio marcato, ma ci siamo adattati. Una AC portatile era nella nostra stanza al check in che era buona, perché era necessaria. La chiave della camera fisica ha preso un po' di tempo per essere abituata (cioè non chiudere automaticamente), la casella via cavo è stata fissata in modo precario sul muro montato la TV e ci ha voluto un po' di tempo per ottenere tutto correttamente legato. Abbiamo avuto qualche piccolo inconveniente (siamo rimasti per diversi giorni e avremmo apprezzato un posto per appendere due asciugamani bagnati bagnati) ma non è niente di generoso. Il bar del snack del lobby è un incubo diabetico, ma ogni mattina ci sono anche banane.

Thank you for the opportunity to describe my Inn at the Quay experience. I was booked for a day procedure at Royal Columbian Hospital at 6:00AM on Saturday May 20. Because I was travelling from out of town and had to be driven home (as a requirement of the procedure) I elected to travel by train to Vancouver and then New Westminster on the day before, Friday. On Tuesday May 16 I booked a room at your hotel for the night of the night of Friday May 19 for $389.00 ex-taxes. My plan was to take a cab to the Hospital and then my daughter was then going to drive to town to pick me up and drive me home after the procedure on Saturday. After travelling to New Westminster I had time to kill because I called the Inn at the Quay to see if I could get an early check in but was told that you were very busy and that was not possible. The hospital recommends attending with only your care card for security reasons. For this reason I had my BC Care Card and the credit card I used to book the room in my cellular phone case. During my wanders I lost my phone. Fortunately I had a significant amount of cash so I got a cab immediately and attended at your hotel. I explained my situation to the clerk on the desk and she said that she could not check me in without the credit card I used to book the room. I asked her if you would charge that card with the room price if I had not shown up and she agreed that that was the case. When I asked if she could just charge the card and let me stay she said that the situation was different and was against your policy. I questioned her further and she summoned a person form the back office who agreed that the situation was completely different and actually said “Sorry, we can’t help you.” When I suggested cancelling the credit card transaction and paying in cash that suggestion was also turned down. Reason was lost on these two minions that are trained to be slavishly obedient to your rules and policies. I am sure that if you question these two they will agree that I was polite and courteous throughout our encounter. After several attempts at circumventing their indifference I felt that I should leave before I started to get mad. As a competent, attentive and businesslike hotelier I am sure you are aware of the saturation in your market on any given day. If you harken back to May 19 you will recall that all of the other hotels in New Westminster and as far as Port Coquitlam were completely booked. No matter, I was able to avail myself of a comfortable chair in the admitting lobby of the Royal Columbian Hospital from 4:00PM on Friday until 6:00AM the following morning. Except of course when I had to leave the admitting lobby while the janitors polished the floors. Because the Emergency Room lobby was full I was able to meet some of the interesting local street residents that were outside at 2:30AM. Potete dire subito come l'hotel è stato abbastanza nuovo! La nostra famiglia è rimasta per 2 notti e era molto confortevole. Non sicuramente ci fosse qualcosa che non ci piaceva. Solo un paio di punti: Ristorante opzione: Match Eating & Public House And The Buffet Abbiamo avuto una grande aspettativa del Buffet. Ah... così vergogna... Non vale la pena pagare così tanto. Fidati di me. Evitare il posto. Internet: La connessione è molto forte, ma ricordatevi che è una connessione pubblica non sicura. C'era qualcuno che cercava di accedere al mio email personale. Fortunatamente, ho avuto il mio account di posta elettronica sicura con due modi di autenticazione. Considerate... per proteggere voi stessi stabilendo la 2-way autentification... ecc. Infine, la piscina non era pronta ad essere aperta fino ad aprile.
