A wonderful stay at this superb 5 Star hotel in the heart of the beautiful city of Utrecht. The wonderful Koen van der Berg and the team are the epitome of excellent customer services and high standards. This is my 4th visit and it won’t be my last. From the well appointed rooms and beautiful grounds to the excellent facilities, this has to be one of my favourite hotels. The Michelin Star Karel 5 Restaurant is simply sublime and an experience not to be missed. A culinary masterpiece awaits that scintillates the tastebuds and reveals delightful experiences in every bite. Chef Leon & his team bring theatre to the table. The passion and knowledge of the team ensures diners are captivated from the start of the performance. The star of the show is the ingredients and how they have been elevated into works of art and brought to life with classic, delicate finishes. I enjoyed every dish that was served on the meat & fish free set menu. Each one championing to be my favourite, only to push me into a quandary to decide which was the most memorable. A truly exceptional experience that embodies passion and excellence.

Quality of Housekeeping is not up to the mark. I have accute dust allergy , I started sneezing when I had placed my stuff in the room and also saw hair in the bathroom. It’s inside the mall and commute was great. Also had seen the common elevator had foul smell before getting inside the hotel. So be aware of public and floating population issues. Breakfast was good. Rooms are smaller for standard size.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel con amici. L'hotel è situato nella zona di cammino del centro città con molte opzioni di shopping e cena. Le camere sono di buona dimensione ma necessitano di rinnovazione perché odore di umidità. Il parcheggio non è disponibile in hotel, poiché è un'area limitata, ma offre parcheggio in un garage che è 10-15 a piedi. Il desk front è amichevole e risponde a qualsiasi assistenza necessaria. Non sono certo che ci sia una migliore alternativa, ma questa è ancora una scelta accettabile.

È un ostello, ma con tutte le comodità del caso. Viene fornito tutto, incluso asciugamano. In bagno sono presenti saponi di ogni tipo e c'è anche l'asciugacapelli. Ci sono diversi bagni e diverse docce, in uno stato di pulizia generalmente più che sufficiente (anche se le docce puzzano un po'). Si soggiorna in una vecchia chiesa all'interno di dei Pod (cubicoli) che si possono ”chiudere” con una tendina, garantendo quindi un minimo di privacy. All'interno del Pod c'è una scatola di ventilazione che però non basta, di notte, a tendina chiusa l'aria nel Pod si fa rovente. Ci saranno oltre 50 Pod e purtroppo gli armadietti emettono un suono acuto ogni volta che vengono bloccati e sbloccati. C'è quindi una sorta di beep beep costante. Il suono andrebbe levato, c'è già un'indicazione luminosa che indica lo stato dell'armadietto. 50€ per un ostello sono tanti. Per curiosità ho ricontrollato se all'ultimo minuto ci fosse qualche offerta ed i prezzi erano saliti addirittura ad oltre 70€, decisamente troppo per un loculo.

In primo luogo, l'hotel è in un centro commerciale, e non c'è indicazione di quali porte sono aperte dopo il centro commerciale chiude e che non sono. Google Maps non è a conoscenza di questo, quindi se si basa su questo o un servizio simile per riportarvi all'hotel, siate a conoscenza che non funzionerà, e i dipendenti non vi forniranno informazioni utili su questo a meno che non lo chiedi. Per il record, finalmente sono riuscito a entrare via Catharinje Esplanade. Secondo, forse è perché ho visitato in vacanza, ma non c'era nessun servizio di front desk o camera tardi alla notte, che sarebbe del tutto bene se la comunicazione fosse fornita. Ma non c'era alcuna indicazione che il servizio in camera presuntamente 24 ore non fosse in realtà 24 ore. Di nuovo, certamente non ingannare i dipendenti una notte di notte. Ma *gestione* deve fare un lavoro molto meglio comunicando quali servizi sono o non sono disponibili e quando. Non promettete qualcosa che i vostri dipendenti non possono fornire. Se la gestione si limitasse a fissare aspettative realistiche e fornisse informazioni un po' più utili, sarebbe un bel hotel.

Questo hotel è anche molto buono. È proprio sotto la stazione ferroviaria centrale di Utler. Da finestra a giù è l'orbita del treno. Alla stazione di entrata è per quattro o cinque minuti. C'è una grande città commerciale sopra. Ecco un grande parcheggio biciclette 🅿️ sotto è la stazione metropolitana, L'automobile è molto costoso, il trasporto pubblico è conveniente e si sente sicuro nel terreno prospero. Le strutture sono molto nuove, è la sensazione di progettazione dell'hotel, ci sono piscina superiore e palestra, e la sauna è davvero molto buona. Due tipi di persone possono scegliere. Molti giovani amanti o coppie vengono qui in vacanza. La piscina è 5 coppie di amanti, e mi sono lasciato con alcuni bambini. Molte chiese e edifici vecchi nelle vicinanze, anche le università, molti piccoli bar intorno a mangiare e bere, sono molto più economici di quelli della stazione ferroviaria.Non è il tempo per andare in città vecchia, molti locali mangiano e bevono lì. Un punto che non mi piace molto è che l'ora di partenza è un po'prima alle 11:15. Non sei ancora entrata in partenza alle 11:15. La reception deve essere presa con l'ascensore. Questo è un po'arrabbiato, e tornerai in pochi minuti. Il colazione è anche prezioso, comprare 19 euro al mattino provvisoriamente, comprare 16 euro al momento dell'alloggio, e pagare un'imposta locale di circa 4 euro per l'alloggio.

2.5 ⭐ Although location and style of the Stayokay Hostel is great, there are a lot improvements that need to be made. I booked a 2-Person Comfort Room for 4 nights. When I went to check-in, there was clearly some confusion when the staff requested for my passport for identification purposes as it took a long time to find my booking. Once we were given our key-cards to enter our room, we noticed that the room we were given was for 4 people. This room in particular was fully based inside the building, if you opened the curtain you would just see the hallway. Maybe it is just the style of the hostel, but this was not for me, I was expecting an outside view as I had paid extra for a 2-Person Comfort Room. To double check, I went down to reception to confirm if the room we had been given was actually intended for me and not for someone else for 4 people. I was confirmed that this was in fact my room. A few hours later, we had received a notice that there was signs that I had not actually paid for my room, I went to reception and provided them all the necessary documentation that I had in fact had a booking and fully paid in advance. Upon returning back to the hostel after a day of touring, I was stopped by a staff to speak to a manager. There had seem to be some mix-up which I was actually given another room for a person with the same surname as myself. Due to this situation, we were told that we were going to get given our actual intended room, but this would require us to stay over the room we had been given for the night, re-pack our belongings, check-out; and then re-check back into our room. Althought annoyed by the inconvenience now, I appreciate the staff was trying to remediate what they could do. Staying in the first room we had been given was difficult to sleep in. Although I expect their to be noise if your in a shared room, I did not realise the amount of noise I would hear outside of the room. There was a lot of kids running around screaming which made it difficult to sleep. It clearly shows that these rooms aren't very soundproof for external noise. The next day after we had checked-out, we returned back to the hostel to check-in to our new room. The new key-card we were given did not even work on our room and the elevator; this was also the same situation with the room next to us. At this point, my time at Stayokay was just becoming a nuisance now. Finally once we got access to our intended room, it was a clear better experience but there was two signs of uncleanliness I was very put off from. The ceiling and lights had a thick layer of dust, it was clear that the room had not been properly deep cleaned; when I informed the staff they said they would sort it when we get back. Upon returning to the room, they did attempt to remove the thick layer of dust from the ceiling but did not bother with the lamp shade (Refer to pictures). L'Hotel DeBlend si trova a due passi dal quartier generale di Douwe egberts in una zona semi-industriale della città, ma è stato molto tranquillo e molto conveniente. Il condizionamento dell'aria è una terribile inconvenienza, come sembra essere in ogni altro hotel europeo, tranne il cacciatore. Non si controlla la temperatura della camera, solo rende un po 'più freddo per un po 'più caldo. Non hai alcun controllo reale. L'abbiamo trovato un po' caldo a notte. E' un hotel principalmente autoservizio, ma le occasioni in cui abbiamo bisogno di assistenza umana, il personale era molto gentile e accogliente. La cucina è una caratteristica molto conveniente per chiunque soggiorni più di pochi giorni. Si consiglia fortemente 2L DeBlend.

Mei 2021 hier voor t laatst geslapen. Ik was toen der tijd heel positief. Nu inmiddels 2 jaar later weer eens geslapen daar. Het was oké. Het zullen hopelijk moment opnames geweest zijn waardoor ik nu gemengde gevoelens heb: de airco functioneerde niet wat in deze warm dagen slapen al zeer lastig maakt. En het was niet mogelijk ivm vroeg vertrek een ontbijt box mee te krijgen of om even snel om 0630 iets van het buffet te pakken. Ik werd wel als IHG member hartelijk ontvangen maar dit stapje extra zit er niet in. Daardoor gemengde gevoelens.

Si tratta di un ottimo hotel, moderno, pulito e con magnifico personale ma, da quanto ho potuto verificare è ideale per una toccata e fuga, cioè per persone di passaggio con soggiorni di uno o due giorni massimo (infatti durante la mia permanenza di 9 gg, ho visto avvicendarsi un numero notevole di persone diverse) In ogni caso ho scelto la struttura per mie necessità personali, dall'hotel si possono raggiungere tanti posti in pochi minuti sia a piedi (cosa importante) sia con treno o bus dove le fermate sono a pochi passi. A pochi passi si trova anche una Pizzeria italiana dove si mangia ottimamente

My family thoroughly enjoyed our 2-day stay at this hotel. The 3 person room was spacious and well equipped. We were very positively surprised by the beautiful canal that our room was facing. The view of the canal from the indoor pool was also idyllic and very relaxing. We loved the outdoor terrace and the family of ducks. Drawbacks: The glass door in the bathroom has no lock and provides little privacy. Better charging facilities for devices should be available in the rooms.
