This is a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Tulum downtown. It is centrally located with easy access to bars, shops and restaurants. Our room was spotless, large and comfortable with a good sized bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool. The pool area is small but spotlessly clean and surrounded by lovely plants and trees. There are only two things that spoil this hotel and both could be easily solved, reading the previous reviews it is surprising they have not been acted upon. Firstly, the breakfast is truly disappointing. The choices are very limited, weak, luke warm coffee and ‘juice’. The toast is worth a special mention as it’s the cheapest bread you could buy served with a small melted spoon of margarine- absolutely vile and inedible. The staff do not wish to interact with you at breakfast and the whole affair is the worst possible start to the day you can imagine. Avoid it and go elsewhere if you want to start your day full and happy 😊 Secondly, on arrival you are required to provide a card for a damages deposit. This includes STAINS to the SHEETS and TOWELS!!? Helloooooooo… someone said this is a hotel. How do you differentiate between normal stains and deliberate stains we asked innocently? Don’t even go there… we were terrified. Could this be the only hotel in the world to adopt this policy? For these two reasons we would not stay again but credit to the wonderful staff, spotlessly clean and well appointed rooms.. perhaps they can persuade the management to have a re think on their next team day 🤔 Other helpful stuff- We hired bikes to get to the beach as it is over an hour to walk in the heat, the bikes are very basic and the route is easy. However, it’s worth knowing that if you plan to spend time at the beach you will need to pay a cover charge at a beach bar for the beds and parasol. Over the week this adds up and you may want to consider staying at a beachfront location. We had rejected this idea initially as it was more expensive but adding in the extra costs and convenience it may be worth it. You also need to pay for access to the beach, it’s not much and you get a wrist band which you can reuse the next day. Sadly, the beach although still beautiful, is ruined by the sea**** that is washed up daily and forms huge mounds on the beach making it unsightly and turning the once clear waters into a murky brown. Staff are working hard to remove it but it is a losing battle and we did not enjoy our time here as much as Holbox for this reason. Neither would we return.

Amazing boutique hotel, perfectly located for visiting the Tulum ruins, and also easy to arrive with the mayab collective, just ask the driver to leave you at the super Aki and then cross the street. The internet, the facilities and the service is top notch. I wanna thank particularly Pietro, my best Italian friend, for making us feel home right away. I would visit again!

Il prezzo è un po'prezioso.La posizione è buona.La strada è conveniente per mangiare intorno.La stanza è grande.La vita notturna è ricca.È anche conveniente andare alla stazione.In futuro, a Cancún sceglierebbe di nuovo di soggiornare.

We opted for a large room with a king bed, and were lucky to get a room on the second floor. Very comfortable room, bed, everything. Good lighting, black out curtains, artwork, etc. The icing on the cake was the fabulous breakfast we got each day. A lot of places are kind of miserly about breakfast - not Mestizo Gallery. They serve both juice and a generous fruit plate, an entree of chilaquiles, eggs, pancakes or waffles - every one of them absolutely delicious - served with excellent coffee. WE also ate dinner here twice, and loved the food. It's not enough to prepare food well, you have to start with good ingredients, and the chef/cook here does.

This is in a beautiful location in the National Park. They have a gracious staff, very well kept grounds and it is quiet. If you’re looking for a place that doesn’t just feel natural but actually is, this is the place. If you’re looking for more of a party vibe, you won’t be happy here. You’ll have to take a taxi to the hotel zone for the clubs. The food is excellent and well priced. Not cheap, mind you, but MUCH less than other hotel restaurants in the hotel zone. Please note there isn’t air conditioning in the rooms. They have a lovely fan over the bed and we had no problem cooling off at nights.

Questa è la mia seconda visita a Zendero , quindi ho avuto una certa aspettativa da prima. Le parti migliori per certo sono state la colazione stessa e il bellissimo cameriere che ha fornito un servizio grande e amichevole e il tetto con piscina è in grande forma e è ideale per un tempo rilassante. Oltre a queste evidenze, il check-in non era così amichevole, la stanza fornita era una delle peggiori dell'hotel che era triste l'hotel era quasi vuoto mi hanno dato una stanza sul pavimento con poca luce naturale e rumore dalla ricezione La stanza (precedentemente mi è stata data una stanza al secondo piano che era molto meglio)... e il check-out era anche inamici, andarono a controllare la mia stanza ma non chiedevano come il mio viaggio fosse meramente transazione. Un altro problema che ho con questa proprietà è da recensioni molto precedenti dove la gente dice che avevano rubato soldi dalla stanza o dalla stanza in sicurezza. Questo mi ha costretto a portare sempre qualcosa di prezioso, anche se fosse solo per il servizio di tetto o di colazione... mi sentivo un po' ansioso di lasciarlo lì. Spero che abbiano affrontato questo problema. In generale, è in una grande posizione e ha alcune buone strutture ma al di fuori del servizio colazione, il resto del «servizio» mancava.

We enjoy this hotel so much we have stayed every time we are in Tulum! The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, the jungle view is beautiful. We have stayed in many of the different rooms but our favorite is the one bedroom suite with balcony. The terrace suite is nice too, but the terrace isn’t covered so when it rains you lose that space. We love how accommodating and friendly the staff are. I think I lost something every day we were there last time (swimsuit coverup, sandals, car keys) and they were right there to make sure I was reunited with my items. The breakfast staff was great, they made sure you had everything you wanted and again, always a smile to great you. The bar staff was excellent also, we mainly ate at the downstairs bar and had our food delivered poolside. It didn’t take long for them to know our favorites! Make sure you take advantage of the 2 free drinks and the twentyish dollars in credit you get each night. The rooftop pool is reserved for adults, but during the day if no one is up there, they did allow our son to get in (he is 10). The rooftop pool is great, it is an infinitely edge looking out at the jungle. The downstairs pool feels more intimate. The housekeeping staff is also on point, we often only have housekeeping when we need it, a few days in to our stay usually, but the day we had it done everything was perfect upon our return, and the toys my son had bought were cutely arranged on his bed (which they also made up properly for us!). The location is great for nearby restaurants (which I found to be better than the ones on the beach) and renting a car or scooter. Take advantage of the lagoon snorkeling trip they offer as well, you have to rent the snorkel gear but the entrance fee and the transportation fee are included. In Tulum transportation so expensive!! We did not do the beach transportation but they do offer that. They also have a laundry facility! We brought detergent and quarters with us. If we were to come back to Tulum we would stay here again.

Oscar, antonio, gaspar, and Fernando at the bar were fabulous!!!!! Very funny, fast, entertaining and super nice! Definitely will be back!!!! And the drinks were delicious! Happy hour is a must! I recommend the passionfruit margarita!

La struttura si trova a circa 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Tulum, e 20-40 minuti in auto dalla spiaggia (dipende molto dal traffico, ma io ci sono stata nella prima settimana di gennaio, quindi in pieno picco turistico.) L'hotel è provvisto di piscina e di bar/ristorante dove è possibile fare colazione. La nostra stanza (king suite) era piuttosto grande, il bagno idem. Letto comodo, ma cuscini indecenti, quelli di dimensioni normali erano duri come sasssi e quelli più morbidi erano piccoli tipo cuscini da divano e riempiti con pezzetti di...qualcosa (gommapiuma? Stracci?). Due i punti dolenti: la insonorizzazione delle camere è inesistente, e le pulizie MOOOOLTO approssimative.... In 9 giorni, mai un cambio di lenzuola o una lavata al pavimento o ai sanitari. Il prezzo pagato non è esattamente economico per Tulum, quindi mi sarei aspettata qualcosa di più. Una nota di merito alla receptionist Melina, gentile e sempre sorridente. Suggerisco alla gestione di controllare meglio lo stato delle camere dopo il passaggio delle pulitrici.
