Hotel a 3 stelle a Tukwila

The room we were assigned was in rough shape. The TV wasn't working, there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, and the mattress was old & uncomfortable. On top of all that, we could not connect to the internet and were told that the hotel's router would have to be reset, which in the time we had to check on it never occurred as far as I could tell.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for Thanksgiving night, as we went for Thursday and Friday to my daughter’s, who lives in Rainier Beach. We live about 22 miles north of Rainier Beach and I don’t like to drive in the dark, so we’ve tried various places close to my daughter’s. We’ve stayed previously at the Hyatt at The Landing, but the cost keeps going up! We tried an airbnb, but my husband, who is visually impaired, did not like it at all. This Residence Inn should have been great! I liked the “suite” - it was like having a little “home away from home”. A total kitchen, the refrigerator was cold; the freezer was frozen. My husband and I prefer to sleep in separate spaces, and he slept on the pull out couch bed. There was good separation of the “living room” area and where the bed was, which I was going to sleep in. We made up the pull out couch bed for my hubby and he jumped in and fell asleep. I got ready for bed and watched a bit of television on the large tv that created a divider between the bed and the “living room” area. I got sleepy and crawled between the sheets of the bed. I was wide awake within a few minutes. The bed was so uncomfortable! The longer I latex there trying to sleep, the worse my body hurt. My lower back and my hips were screaming at me. No matter how I tried to lay, my body was hurting. At home I sleep on memory foam, which keeps all my joints happy and prevents “pressure points”, but I really discovered what those pressure points were in the bed here this night. Finally, at about 1 AM, I checked my phone to see how long it would take us to get home - 33 minutes! No traffic, clear skies and roads! I woke my husband and a decision was made! We were home and I was asleep by 2 AM. I guess we will have to pay the price of the hotel with the better beds for Christmas. I am disappointed; I had really wanted to like the Residence Inn. Maybe because I am older I need a better bed than what was in our room here, but I won’t waste my money again. Take heed.

Positivi - la stanza era molto spaziosa e la proprietà era situata vicino a shopping e cena, così come l'aeroporto. Piscina e zona di seggio vicino alla griglia. Lavastoviglie aveva quattro lavastoviglie e asciugamani che accettavano le carte di credito come pagamento. Super utile! Negativi - La nostra stanza era proprio vicino alle tracce ferroviarie che avevano treni merci passando in tutte le ore. È certamente interrotto il nostro sonno. Ho trovato spider e crickets in una delle bagni. Il bagno era un design davvero stupido. La testa del doccia puntò alla porta, quindi dovevi spostarla verso il lato fino a quando l’acqua si avvicinava e potevi entrare, e non potevi spostarla indietro una volta entrato perché la porta del doccia non era chiusa. Il design più peggiore/ meno costoso che abbia mai visto! Non mi interessa il complimentare colazione. I pasti caldi (uova, patate, salsa) sono stati preparati con un flair sud-ovest così speziato per noi. Perché non servire una salsa semplice e avere salse calde disponibili per coloro che vogliono usarla? Non molto di una selezione di altri oggetti da scegliere.

My family stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend. The check in process was very smooth, and we thought our rooms were very nice. The hotel has an airport shuttle which we used when we arrived, but we had to return to the airport via taxi since we departed before it began running at 6am. Our booking included breakfast which was ordered off a small menu from the lobby bar. It was pretty good (breakfast quesadilla was a top option), but our last morning we had to leave early before they opened, and unfortunately the hotel was not able to offer us any type of breakfast for us to take along to the airport. The hotel does have a nice courtyard where we were able to hang out and have some drinks. Only a block from the hotel is the Southcenter Mall which has lots of restaurants to choose from along with the typical mall shopping experience.

La stanza originale che ci è stata data era il primo piano accanto alla piscina di ginnastica, quindi abbiamo chiesto un cambio. Il personale di contro Bryan non era né utile né gentile, fortunatamente il manager Nicole ci aiuta a ottenere un piano più alto, anche se è più piccolo. La stanza aveva però lasciato le cose da parte dell’ospite precedente, e noi ne abbiamo riportato alcune volte, solo il giorno dopo la sera, e poi le cose sono state pulite. Il tipo di servizio di navetta era molto gentile e utile.

Forse uno degli hotel che offrono servizi in camera durante il vostro soggiorno - così tanti non lo fanno più, anche se paghiamo molto di più - più il colazione è terribile con buona qualità di cibo - tranne per i fragole e le pine da bagno congelate - perché? Non ha senso - ma la birra è soddisfatta dei loro servizi

Bene, molto vicino all'aeroporto, c'è un negozio di Costco intorno a sé. Il servizio dell'hotel è anche buono. Chiedi se puoi aiutare a riscaldare il cibo, e il personale ha mandato direttamente una microonde nella nostra stanza
