Hotel in zona Gooderham Building, Toronto

La posizione è perfetta, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Union e vicino alla piattaforma di traghetto a Toronto Island. La nave costa solo 8.70 CAD per un viaggio in giro per 20 minuti. E 'un bel posto per visitare, specialmente coloro che godono della natura. Abbiamo prenotato una stanza davanti al lago, che è molto raccomandato. E 'una vera foto presa dalla finestra al mattino. Il servizio in camera è bello e il buffet colazione con molte variezze di cibo. Beautiful new lobby, heated pool with amazing city view, gym was okay. Upgraded my room to 26th floor with lovely view of CN tower! No bottled water or coffee/tea in rooms. They sent up a kettle but no mugs or teas bags so a bit pointless. Room service didn’t have any vegetarian options. Very Comfortable bed and big TV, but only cable channels, would be nice to provide Netflix or other streaming apps.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Delta Downtown Toronto! We were treated like favoured guests, our every request was handled with professionalism and real concern for our happiness with the quality of our stay, and every staff member was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. The room was spotless and gorgeously appointed; even the bathroom was stunning with a fantastic view of the city. Our only sad point was that the pool closed the weekend we stayed there, for what I presume was emergency maintenance, which was disappointing. I would stay with Delta again for sure; fantastic hotel chain!

La posizione di questo hotel è invincibile, facilmente accessibile dall'aeroporto internazionale di Toronto Pearson da UP Express e dalla metropolitana. E ha molti ristoranti vicino. The location of the hotel is near downtown and the BMO stadium. There were races in the stadium during our stay and we had serious traffic jams for our two evenings. The facilities in the room is relatively old. Though it has a kitchen, it provides no pans, saucepans and kettle and literally, not a functioning one. There is a coffee machine, refrigerator and iron. The ice-making function of the refrigerator is the best part of the hotel. The view of the room is not desirable, as it faces the electrical cable of the hydro electrical plant. The breakfast is fine, while the services were nice.

L'hotel è carino e la camera in cui ho alloggiato era bellissima con una bella vista. Il personale è per lo più eccezionale, tranne una persona alla reception che ha mostrato un atteggiamento spiacevole nei miei confronti, ma tutti gli altri, dal concierge al personale del ristorante, alle adorabili cameriere, erano gentili e professionali. Gli orari del ristorante sono un po' strani, quindi è una buona idea informarsi in anticipo se avete intenzione di pranzare lì, a volte chiude a mezzogiorno. Strano. Oltre a questo, è una bella esperienza.

I’m a big fan of the Canopy brand in general, but I have a hard time loving this particular Canopy. It seems like it’s designed more to look great than to be great. For example, the electric controls next to the bed are unnecessarily complicated— there’s about 9 buttons to control different lights and shades and things, and it isn’t easily usable. You have to hunt through all of them and try to remember the difference between the sconce light and the halo. It’s needlessly complex and that makes it harder to use. There is also a motion-activated night light under the bed, so if you get up in the middle of the night, it shines a light for you, which isn’t great if your partner if sleeping or even if you yourself want to try to go back to sleep. The night light is hyper sensitive, so it activates even if you just lay in bed and dangle your leg down. And there’s no way to disable it. If you don’t want lights going off every time you get out of bed, you have to shove a pillow under the bed to block the motion sensor or cover up the light. I love the filtered water/ice stations (one of my favorite parts about canopy hotels!) but the ones I used here seemed a lot more temperamental than others. You have to hold your water bottle at exactly the perfect angle before water will dispense, but since there’s no instructions, you have to poke around til you figure it out. There’s no little shelf in the shower stall, so if you bring your own toiletries, you have to either put them on the shower floor or balance them on top of the wall-mounted toiletry bottles. I also didn’t love that there’s no door on the bathroom and only frosted glass around the toilet cubicle. The bed was great — very comfy — and the blackout shades were an excellent touch. Very convenient location, close to the subway. And the decor is beautiful, very sleek and bright. It just all feels like it was designed without any context of how a guest will actually interact with all these things.

Non credo che sia un hotel a quattro stelle. La stanza è pulita, ma l'hotel è piuttosto vecchio. Due delle cinque luci nella stanza erano rotte. La stanza che la reception ha organizzato per me era una stanza d'angolo vicino al scale. L'isolamento acustico era scarso. Ho guardato la TV nella porta accanto, al piano di sopra Quando si spostano le cose su e giù, si sente il rumore delle porte che si aprono e si chiudono su e giù per le scale e sono stato svegliato direttamente due volte. Le prestazioni di isolamento delle finestre dal pavimento al soffitto non sono molto buone, e il vento freddo entra a raffiche, e fa ancora abbastanza freddo anche con le tende tirate. La spina è solo sul lato sinistro del letto, ed è stato sospeso anche il servizio in camera 24 ore su 24 (non so se sia per l'epidemia). Insomma, il rapporto prezzo/prestazioni non è alto, a questo prezzo ci sono ancora hotel con servizi e strutture migliori di questo in Cina.
