Hotel in zona Ussishkin Playground, Tel Aviv

We stayed at this amazing hotel for 2 nights (16th & 17th May 2023) after leaving our cruise which had travelled from Miami USA and ended in Haifa, Israel. We travelled by train from Haifa to Tel Aviv then got a taxi outside the train station directly to the Shalom Hotel & Relax at Atlas Boutique Hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 11am and were greeted at the entrance door by Yufus? Jusuf? (apologies if i spelt your name wrong) who lead us through towards the hotel reception desk. We were the first of a group from our ship who were due to stay at this hotel (booked by our travel agent) We were a group of 4 friends/2 couples. Within minutes of our arrival we were offered drink refreshments. The 2 ladies chose cappuccino and the 2 guys opted for a beer. These were quickly brought to us plus a plate of fresh baked croissants (told all were complimentary) Our receptionist (who we quickly found out had used to live in UK - Tottenham/London) was lovely, friendly and explained that although we were early as check-in isn’t usually until afternoon she would do her best to allocate us a room asap. We asked what the rooms where like as we hadn’t chosen them (our travel agent had included the 2 night in Tel Aviv in our cruise&stay package) We were informed our agent had booked the whole group into the hotels smallest/cheapest rooms, all with side views… but assured all were clean, comfortable and had all the amenities as the Front back facing rooms. We enquired about upgrading rooms and we were fortunate that we were able to negotiate/purchase an upgrade to 2 beautiful superior spa rooms (with hot-tub) on 4th floor, with sea views, facing the front of this hotel. These rooms were outstanding. Fabulous rainfall shower in bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space, really comfortable super-king size bed, minibar filled with complimentary soft drinks, a coffee/tea machine plus armchair, footstool and the fabulous hot-tub on a raised platform near the window. Also in our room was a complimentary gift of chocolates which was a lovely gesture by this hotel. A great way to spend the final days of our cruise & stay holiday. 👍👍👍👍👍 On the floor above us was a sun terrace equipped with daybed loungers, hammock, rocker chairs and table & chairs, plus gazebo and plenty of extra large sun umbrellas as/when shade was needed. The view from this terrace enabled us to see the sea and enjoy the fabulous sun sets each evening of our stay. This hotel offers it’s guests a fantastic complimentary snacks & drinks “happy hours” from 4pm till 6pm each evening in the ground-floor dining/lounge area. They provided tea, coffee, white wine, fruit juices, a selection of spirits plus an buffet of crisps, nuts, crackers, cheese, hot snacks selection, plus mini desserts of mousse, fruit and/or trifle. The buffet was constantly replenished by the kitchen staff and guests were free to help themselves to whatever was on offer during this time. Napkins, cutlery, crockery and glasses etc were av

viaggio per lavoro. sono già stata in questo hotel nel novembre 2019 e lo avevo già trovato molto deludente. unica nota positiva la posizione. il mio agente per comodità mi ha chiesto di tornare qui. non è un hotel bensì un affittacamere. non ha nessun tipo di servizio. il frigo bar vuoto, se chiedi dell'acqua ti rispondono di andare al supermercato di fianco all'hotel. il ristorante che c'è non è dell'hotel e non fa servizio in camera. per la colazione bisogna andare in una bakery di fianco all'hotel che ti porta un menu senza dirti cosa è compreso e cosa no nella tariffa già pagata all'hotel e ti ritrovi pure a pagare 9 euro per una spremuta - senza aver mangiato nulla. la reception inesistente. si sussegue personale incapace messo li solo per registrate i documenti. l'hotel dice di offrire reception 24/7. sono partita alle 3 di mattina in reception non c'era nessuno - ho poi visto che il receptionist era seduto dentro la bakery di fianco a fumare - ho aspettato più di 40 minuti per un taxi e sono arrivata tardissimo in aeroporto (e chi conosce ben gurion sa do cosa parlo) . il receptionist aveva lasciato sul desk un numero da chiamare in caso di necessità a cui non ha risposto mai nessuno. La camera: sporca, piena di polvere odore ci griglia e fritto ovunque che sale dal ristorante. In una parola un disastro. il tutto alla modica cifra di mi pare 170 euro a notte. vero tel aviv è cara ma allo stesso prezzo la scelta è ampia. NB per via del covid bisogna fare 24 ore di quarantene in hotel. e ti arrangi con il cibo e con l'acqua perchè la reception si limita a dire ”scarica wolt (che se non hai un numero israeliano non puoi usare) e ordina una delivery”

Have to write in sheer excitement about my current stay @the Herrods TLV, Came to TLV to enjoy the DocAviv Film Festival, and resplendent summer. How was it? Remarkable and extraordinary in every way, right from the outset. I was stoked! Friday the Hotel was packed full, so when I arrived on Saturday, was delighted to realize I received an upgrade. Well the view on the eighteenth floor is sensational, and the warm sea-breeze welcoming and soft. The room was pristine and brimming with new energy, if not a bit too minimal for its uninterrupted white expanses. Have to address compliments to all members of staff, for excellent service and personal attention. How wonderful a relief for solo travelers! Special thanks go to the entire, wonderful Front Office team, to the Front Desk Manager Adi, and especially to Daniel Manager of Guest Relations, for following up on my stay, and whether I was pleased with all aspects of my stay. Also, special thanks go to the F&B MAnagement, and Breakfast Hall team, for preparing and setting up an excellent, holesome, and varied breakfast, in a great ambience. Thank you also to Miri, at the bar, for your appreciated attention, presence, and caring attitude. In short - of-course would love to come back to more such calming and sensational experiences. What a great find! We received a free room upgrade, a complimentary welcome drink, and an abundant breakfast all a block from the beach. Clean room, comfortable bed and a fun vibe. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The hotel is clearly meant for young people but I was happy to trade room space for a better price than the standard Tel Aviv hotels. Also a fun vibe in the lobby.

Come dal titolo non siamo rimasti soddisfatti per diversi motivi,abbiamo pernottato 6 notti la camera come spazio poteva anche andar bene ma il bagno era esageratamente piccolo non c'era posto per nulla,l'estrattore oltre che rumoroso restava acceso giorno e notte e quando facevi la doccia dalla potenza che aveva ti veniva un freddo da battere i denti.Avendolo fatto presente ho chiesto che venisse staccato ma con mille scuse dissero che non potevano farlo,meno male che il manutentore con pezzo di cartone è dello scotch ha rimediato.passado alla colazione al buffet del mattino.altra triste delusione.l'ultima sera del nostro soggiorno a una signore della reception abbiamo chiesto di chiamarci un taxi e lei ci rispose che era inutile tanto non sarebbero venuti,invece appena siamo usciti i taxi erano lì in attesa di clienti he cercavano come noi di essere portati al ristorante.Non consiglio questo hotel a chi debba soggiornare più di una notte.

La testa del doccia si è rotta prima, anche il vicino aveva sesso e faceva molto forte, ma è solo divertente. La receptionista ha messo su la mia carta un $250 che durò più di un mese che era annoiante, non capisco perché lo hanno fatto, che ho già pagato per tutto. Ha anche chiesto al manager tutto il tempo, perche' forse solo un nuovo lavoratore.

Parto dalle cose positive (che purtroppo sono molto poche): - Le dimensioni della camera e del bagno (tutto nuovo e molto spazioso) - La colazione: non troppo industriale con dei prodotti tipici del territorio - Presenza di un centro commerciale nel palazzo di fronte Queste invece le cose negative: - Il servizio Il 1° giorno di vacanza alle 7.30 di mattina veniamo svegliati da un addetto del servizio di pulizia perché voleva rifare la camera (alle 7:30 di mattina?). Dopo meno di 1 ora è ritornato per fare la stessa richiesta... Ovviamente a quel punto mi sono adirato visto che eravamo stati svegliati due volte nel giro di 1 ora. Risultato? Torniamo la sera alle 18 e la camera era da rifare. Chiamiamo in reception, facendo presente la cosa, ci rispondono con sufficienza dicendo ”se volete mandiamo qualcuno” (se vogliamo? E' un hotel a 5 stelle o la pensione di nonna Maria?). Passano 30 minuti e non si vede nessuno, richiamiamo irritati e allora dopo 10 minuti vengono a rifarci la camera... Ovviamente una rassettata di massima, niente di ché. In realtà, la pulizia della camera è sempre stata ai minini termini, con batuffoli di polvere ovunque, pavimento del bagno macchiato per giorni, e così via... Decisamente insostenibile per un 5 stelle. Per ogni richiesta fatta alla reception c'erano dei tempi di attesa assurdi. Per avere un cucchiaio (si 1 cucchiaio e non un servito da 12) abbiamo aspettato più di mezz'ora dovendo chiamare 2 volte... - La ristorazione E' un hotel a 5 stelle senza ristorante... O meglio, c'è la cucina per la colazione ed eventualmente per il room service ma non fa servizio ristorante. Considerando che l'hotel è piuttosto lontano da tutto (una media di 30€ di taxi per il centro) il non avere il ristorante è risultato veramente un problema. Il menù del room service era decisamente ridotto a pochi piatti. - Piscina/Spa Una sola parola: imbarazzante! Struttura vecchia, malandata e con un livello igienico sotto la piscina comunale. Ambienti piccoli, troppo piccoli rispetto alle dimensioni dell'hotel. - Rumoroso Camera (1704) con tanti rumori sia interni che esterni. Lato interno si sentiva l'ascensore mentre dall'esterno si sentiva il rumore dell'ìmpianto di aereazione del centro commericiale del palazzo di fronte. - La posizione E' lontano da tutto (a parte Sarona market). Hanno un servizio di navetta ma ogni 2 ore per cui utile ma un pò complicato da sfruttare. Considerando quanto costano i taxi a Tel Aviv per spostarsi verso zone più ”interessanti” la spesa è decisamente ingente. Su questo sicuramente ho sbagliato io nella scelta dell'hotel perché ho sottovalutato la posizione che è sicuramente molto più orientata al business che al turismo. - Il sabato La gestione dello shabbat a mio avviso è stata deficitaria. Non si può dare per scontato che tutti conoscano le regole che guidano questa festività religiosa, per cui una maggiore comunicazione dell'hotel verso i propri clienti avrebbe aiutato a gestire al meglio la cosa.

Hotel perfetto e servizio eccellente

I loved the hotel and hotel location. It is very central and easy to commute from. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. I particularly wanted to highlight Igor and Halyna - who look after floor 8 and 4. They are amazing! So attentive, so friendly and so passionate and committed to their jobs. I have never met such dedicated people. They made me feel at home! I would come back just to be looked after by them
