MariaLuis Hotel

The hotel is very good for the price we booked it. Also, upon reaching they informed us that they had upgraded our room which was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were clean, nice, and cozy. They had all the basic things and also a balcony. Little small to keep the entire luggage. So we kept some of our luggage in the luggage room on the ground floor. The hotel had a lift and also staircases along with it. The complementary breakfast is also good. The only little discomfort is with the car parking if you take your car. The place to park is very small and congested. But this can be ignored as people are very nice. Especially Lana. Lana is a gem of a person. She helped us a lot. We had to cancel our booking once because of some mishappening. It was entirely up to her to cancel or not cancel. She could have even refused but we are grateful that she allowed us to cancel understanding our circumstances. We would like to stay again at this hotel if we go to Tbilisi again.

I think highly of this hotel and think it is a great deal for the price and has so many positives: *its a very attractive hotel from the outside * it’s well cared for on the inside. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. *it is clean *its right across the street from the Trinity Cathedral. A truly spectacular location. *breakfast was adequate. * the staff was very nice. Negatives: *it is across the River from the Old Town. It’s not far at all but the return walk is grueling as it is uphill. If you have issues walking I wouldn’t recommend unless you plan on exclusively using taxis. *wifi was spotty at best. *desperately need new towels. The ones I had were one step up from sandpaper. *there are not a lot of restaurants within a couple blocks of hotel. Overall, I would recommend but beware of these issues.

when we arrived at the hotel at 2am to check in the Hotel refused to honor our booking agents confirmed reservation and made us let them cancel it , maybe to save paying a commission we cannot comment on that?. The hotel staff then refused to take a credit card and insisted CASH only ,we did not have enough cash so eventually they relented but made us pay a surcharge of 10% on our total bill to use a credit card ??. This hotel is very noisy at night many children running around early evening until 1.30am some nights the hotel night we have kids ourselves but until that late !! reception did nothing to stop it and the manager said the hotel is full so this noise until 1.30am is acceptable ? it was very clear that it was not that full, even if it was full this level of noise disturbance to that late at night is not acceptable. Strangely Food and cigarette ash was thrown down onto our balcony from the room above on several days,we showed the reception lady but she did not seem to care so that was that. draughty doors filled with tissues ?? would be ok in the hot summer but not in freezing winter The included breakfast is repetitive and mostly cold but generally ok. The Hotel accused us after nearly 5 weeks in residence of putting milk in a kettle and burning it?? even though we had full use of a micro wave plus the kettle in the room was already burnt when we moved into the room but we boiled it as usual to clean it and it was ok to use so did not complain , then 2 days before moving out they accused us by text of this? . To start with and As we had some business in tbilisi to take care which could have taken up to 12 weeks we checked in for an initial 5 weeks only plus as at that time it was difficult to leave and get another hotel immediately unfortunately I had used the hotel as an address for correspondence in tbilisi so we had to stay until its conclusion. we paid in full eventually by card (including the 10% credit card surcharge, yes we have filed a complaint with the booking agent and card our provider) , but if we had not used the hotel address and paid in full we would have changed hotels we no choice but to stay put feel ripped off and use ear plugs. Thankfully our business concluded much earlier than expected so we did not have to stay for up to 3 months just only the original 5 weeks we had paid for and we left ASAP. The House keeping and kitchen staff were all very nice, but that was all. Of course we still have all reservation confirmations documents etc from the original online booking agent and the hotel confirmation emails , plus I made the hotel provide a full itemized payment invoice showing their 10% credit card surcharge . Tried to sort things out with the hotel reception staff and manager but they were not even interested in talking about this 10% card charge etc and TBH a bit aggressive to me when I tried. TBH we hate leaving bad reviews god knows business is hard enough but feel we have been ripped of and

Hotel is excellent and just 5min walk away from Metro station. Our stay was comfortable and staff was very supportive. Rooms are good and spacious for family of 3. Breakfast was good and all basic items were there.

Гостинница чистая. Пешком летом далековато до метро. И 2 станции до центра. Лишний раз вечером с детьми не выйдешь Завтрак простой, детям не очень понравился. Взрослому нормально,если не избалован разнообразием. Рис с сосисками на завтрак...не всем подходит нормального кофе нет. Только растворимый чибо. Нет кофемашины. В лобби есть,но ни разу не предложили воспользоваться. Ночью около 12 кто-то ломился в номер Утром пожаловалась дежурной. Ответ шокировал...они не несут ответственность за это. Кошмар какой-то. Вид хороший только из некоторых номеров. У нас в конце был номер с видом в чужие окна и стены, Когда берете трансфер убедитесь,что багажник пустой и чистый За нами приехал бус с шинами в багажнике. И на грязные шины он собирался грузить чемоданы. Пришлось в салон ставить. Вроде чисто, еда есть, но осадок очень неприятный остался. Не было ощущения безопасности. Думаю,что есть гостинницы в центре, они удобнее. Удобно для паломников , т.к собор рядом.

В свою первую поездку в Тбилиси я решила остановиться в отеле МарияЛуис. И после пятидневного пребывания там, в первую очередь, обещала себе впредь останавливаться только тут. Я даже готова возвращаться в Тбилиси из раза в раз только ради того, чтоб увидеться с этими прекрасными людьми, принимающими тебя как за своего родственника, которого очень сильно ждали и наконец дождались. Такого трепетного, доброго отношения к постояльцам я не видела ни в одной стране мира, а куда меня только не заносило. Я бронировала обычный номер Стандарт. А при заселении администратор Илона (отдельная любовь к ней, передаю тебе огромный привет) предложила заселиться (без доп оплаты) в номер Люкс с видом на собор Святой Троицы. Номер был чистый (каждый день уборка), большой, стильный, минималистичный, с балконом, с видом на Кафедральный собор. Также администратор Илона предложила на следующий день посетить бесплатную двухчасовую экскурсию, организованную их гидом Гогой. Экскурсия была Супер. Завтраки были включены. Еда была очень вкусная, разнообразная: каждый день свежие овощи, разные сыры, колбасы, каши, хачапури, яйца, приготовленные по-разному, салаты, десерты и многое другое. Я наедалась очень сытно, до вечера можно было о еде не думать совершенно. День отъезда был очень трогательным. Буду вспоминать с большим трепетом и любовью ко всем членам семьи МарияЛуис. Во-первых, владелец отеля Александр предложил оставить вещи в отеле, продлить бесплатно пребывание в номере. А перед выездом в аэропорт накрыли стол, по душам разговаривали со всей его семьей, очень сдружились. Прошло полтора месяца, а я все с большой любовью вспоминаю этот вечер. А после сам Александр, владелец отеля, довез меня на машине до остановки с чемоданами и рюкзаками, проводил до автобуса. Прекрасный отель, чудесные люди, работающие в отеле и вызывающие море улыбок и чувство безопасности, с которыми ты расстаешься друзьями и к которым хочется вернуться снова. Ощущение, будто я приехала к родственникам, которые тебя давно ждали и вот наконец дождались. Спасибо вам за все! Скорее мечтаю вернуться к вам. По моей рекомендации уже несколько друзей запланировали поездку в Грузию и сказали, что останутся только в вашем отеле. P.S. каждый раз, когда слушаю песню "На грани" Janaga, Sevak, вспоминаю ВАС:)
