Hotel in zona Macquarie Square, Sydney

Soggiorno in questo hotel ogni volta che devo visitare Sydney. È vicino ai trasporti, un modo semplice ed economico per visitare il CBD. Avere una reception aperta 24 ore su 24 è utile poiché spesso arrivo dopo il lavoro e può essere molto tardi/presto. Anche la colazione è un vantaggio (una colazione calda completa) è migliorata di recente, si sono verificati problemi post COVID ma ora è tornato all'eccellente standard precedente. Le camere sono pulite e abbastanza grandi. L'unico inconveniente è il parcheggio a pagamento, ma di solito riusciamo a trovare parcheggio in strada non troppo lontano.

I had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). L'hotel è molto vicino alla maggior parte delle cose come il centro commerciale Westfield, Sydney Tower, appena a 1.7km distante fr Central stn (bus e treni), a 15 minuti a piedi a Darling Harbour per nominare alcuni. Il tuo servizio bfast con opzioni vegetariane. La stanza è spaziosa. Il personale dell'hotel è amichevole e utile.

I had such a good stay there. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were particularly excellent - every person was incredibly kind and friendly. Binay was really lovely and helpful and Jandro, the manager was wonderful and always had an incredibly welcoming smile. I wasn’t expecting such a good experience considering how cheap it was, right in the heart of the city, but the hotel ticks all the boxes. I would definitely recommend this, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

We stayed for two nights at the end of May. Our room was quiet & clean even if in need of a refurbish, which presumably, going by the building works going on, is in progress. The building works didn't impinge on our stay at all. Our breakfast (which was included in our room rate), was surprisingly good. The area it was served in was very clean and bright. We found all the staff to be pleasant. Being able to checkin & checkout on line made things move quicker, especially the checkout. The cost of accommodation in the city is very high so we were pleased that Song Hotel was a bit more affordable to us.

L'hotel è situato in una posizione centrale, rendendo più facile per me esplorare le attrazioni vicine sia a piedi che in trasporto pubblico. La stazione ferroviaria, le fermate degli autobus e le fermate della metropolitana sono a 5-10 minuti a piedi. La stanza era molto pulita, aveva anche le strutture per lavare i miei tazze e le piastre grazie al bagno di lavastoviglie (in aggiunta al bagno di lavastoviglie), e aveva anche un forno a microonde nella stanza, che era utile. Una buona fornitura e una varietà di tè oltre al caffè istantaneo. Il servizio in camera per il cibo era anche grande. Ha avuto uno dei più rapidi e lisci check-in e check-out di recente. In generale, molto felice con i servizi.

La posizione di Mercure è molto vicina alla Stazione Centrale, che è molto adatta per famiglie come noi con anziani e bambini. Ci ha suggerito di sottoscriverci come membro, per poter parcheggiare a un tasso di sconto di $45 al giorno (il primo sembra essere $49). Ci sono piscina e fitness sul quattordicesimo piano. Durante il nostro soggiorno, abbiamo chiamato la ricezione per i servizi. Il personale è venuto in camera per fornire servizi. Inoltre, forse abbiamo soggiornato durante il periodo di Natale, c'era un disegno. Il mio bambino era molto felice di vincere un'auto a distanza giocattolo, che ha aggiunto più gioia. Ci siamo divertiti con il nostro soggiorno. Il personale dell'hotel che abbiamo incontrato lì è molto bello e utile. Se andiamo a Sydney di nuovo, considereremo Mercure di nuovo! 🙂🙂

Avevo visitato la settimana della moda australiana e cercavo un posto dove stare a piacere. Non cercavo un alloggio di tipo studente Adina era la più vicina a Cariageworks e mi sorprendeva davvero. Non ho mai avuto nessuno che portasse i miei bagagli nella mia stanza in Australia! Ho offerto un consiglio e non accettavano. La stanza era immacolata, mi sentivo come la prima persona a usarla. Ho trovato la stanza molto tranquilla, anche se ha guardato la piscina. Ho detto che non bevo acqua fuori dal tappeto e quando sono tornato c'erano tre tin di acqua ancora sul tavolo della cucina. Non posso valutare Adina abbastanza. Congratulazioni, sarò di nuovo!

Nightcap at Chester Hill Hotel demonstrates excellent reviews from numerous hotel guests. Upon our visit to the pub and entertainment floor at the ground level, the room's interior design was relatively unique and posh. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and well-trained, and they informed us accordingly about the covid restrictions. We want to give special thanks for an excellent demonstration of Ms. Yasmine's Hospitality. Thank you to Ms. Yasmin, who has been helpful and guided us with direction and amenities and gave us a warm welcome, and guaranteed our expectations and concern had been met. Her extraordinary and multinational people skills must be highlighted and recognized -it was a wonderful visit. For all travelers, we are recommended the Night Cap at Chester Hill hotel.
