The location is at a very strategic location, just a few minutes drive away from Georgetown.
Cons:
- Floor is not that clean and can feel stickiness.
- The floor of the bathroom are also with abit of stains but acceptable.
- The unit’s soundproofing is not that good as you can listen to people talking outside at the corridor.
- Curtains are with holes
- Sofa is quite dirty
- There is not much sockets/plugs in the unit. (Can provide extension)
- Mirrors are at a very awkward place (bathrooms dont have mirrors / makeup table dont have mirrors)
Pros:
- Location very strategic
- Infinity pool is beautiful
- 2 story gym
- The unit comes with a washing machine, which is very useful for us
- Microwave was good too
- The tv comes with all sorts of entertainment like netflix/youtube
- Rooms come with airconds + fan.
Overall my family and I had a pleasant stay.

Ho prenotato un soggiorno di 3 notti, il check-in è stato piacevole e tempestivo. Una volta raggiunta la stanza, il water era intasato, il vetro del bagno era ammuffito. Il resto della stanza era ok ma c'era un odore di odore proveniente dalla moquette. La TV era come un modello obsoleto e la ricezione era orribile e poco chiara, cosa che non otteniamo al giorno d'oggi se non negli anni '80 o '90. La colazione era davvero semplice, dovresti saltarla e non sembra quella di un hotel. Ho fatto il check-out anticipato di un giorno e ho prenotato un altro hotel perché non mi sento bene.

We had two nights at this property. Hotel has free parking. Hotel is nice and staffs are very friendly. Room 1514 seaview was spacious and clean and located 30minutes walk to Gurvey hawker centre. The nearest supermarket is in Gurney Paragon and Gurvey Plaza about 20mins walk. There is Gurney Walk next to this hotel but no supermarket to buy fruits.
It was alright for us as we drove around and the view was my main attraction.

everything just nice, just I don’t know how to handle the TV although there got tv box available. There got sofa bed can fit 2 ppl, 1 room with double bed, 1 room with single bed (is really small room), 1 bathroom (no need worry about the water pressure), kitchen with water filter, kettle, microwave, fridge, cutleries. House just next to lift, the sound proof at living area not really good, can hear outside ppl walking, room window sound proof ok. The parking locate at 6th floor and quite hard to go up & down, we decide park road side after that.

The Millen is an elegant hotel, beautifully crafted to make us feel like we'd stepped into one of the HGTV designed homes! We'd booked a room with seaview on 6 July 3025, and were given a high floor. It was so great to wake up to the sun reflecting on the sea. The bathroom with 2 vanities was so big and spacious, and the bathtub was right beside the window with the magnificent view! The hotel incorporated modern technology to make our stay so user friendly - a tap of the room card in the lift sensor will bring us directly to our level (there are only 4 buttons to press to go to the public areas). The curtains in the room opened/closed with the touch of a button too. We enjoyed the breakfast main courses at the Lili. All the staff were friendly and helpful; they decorated our room for husband's birthday, and served us a slice of cake upon check-in (and welcome drinks at the reception). We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and relatives!

The check-in process was very slow despite the friendliness and service from the receptionist who was very polite and kind. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The food choices at breakfast were quite limited but worth it. And again, the service of the staff here was top-notch and very good, so well done and thank you to the hotel team for that.

UUtente ospiteL'ambiente dell'hotel è ottimo, anche la colazione è molto ricca, il mare è proprio fuori dall'hotel, bellissimo, abbiamo trascorso due giorni meravigliosi qui. Vale la pena sottolineare che la nostra camera è al secondo piano, molto vicina all'albero, e ci sono molti 🐒 che vengono a trovarci la mattina, sono molto carini!

Lascio questo recensione per tutti i potenziali ospiti non bianchi: c'è evidente discriminazione razziale nel servizio di concierge qui. I portatori aiutano gli ospiti bianchi solo per salutarli, aprire le porte e manipolare i bagagli, e la mia famiglia mi sentiva incomoda, quindi non posso più ignorare la loro esperienza. Mentre l'hotel è bellissimo e tutti i restanti membri del personale sono amichevoli e professionali, consiglio fortemente di standardizzare il vostro SOP o di sostituire la squadra di porta.

🏅Personale alla reception: ci hanno offerto un drink di benvenuto (succo d'uva freddo) all'arrivo. Erano solo le 10:00 passate, ma ci hanno permesso di fare il check-in anticipato! Ci hanno chiamato dopo poche ore per chiedere se la camera fosse a posto o se avessimo bisogno di qualcosa... un approccio molto proattivo. Il giorno dopo li ho chiamati per chiedere alcune cose di cui avevamo bisogno e hanno provveduto rapidamente, con l'aiuto del personale addetto alle pulizie. Sono stati anche molto disponibili con consigli su dove fare colazione. E sì, questo hotel offre un servizio navetta GRATUITO presso i locali più gettonati per la colazione. Basta prenotare la fascia oraria e l'orario.
Servizio addetto alle pulizie: la nostra camera è stata assegnata a Sattar e non ho nulla da ridire. Sono contento di come abbia fatto in modo che la nostra camera fosse fresca, rifornita e pulita ogni giorno. Ho fatto piccole richieste per avere qualcosa in più, e lui ha accontentato molto volentieri!
Autista navetta: parte puntuale. Abbiamo sempre prenotato la corsa delle 8:30. Questo è un servizio GRATUITO e ci sono 7 (credo) punti ristoro per la colazione tra cui scegliere. Adoro questo servizio perché offre un'ampia scelta di opzioni per mangiare, e Penang è davvero una destinazione gastronomica. L'hotel non serve la colazione, credo sia per questo che offre questo servizio.
Posizione: nessun rimpianto! È centralissimo. Abbiamo fatto principalmente un tour a piedi per esplorare Georgetown e questo hotel è vicino a molti luoghi e strade popolari. Se siete stanchi di stare all'aperto, c'è un nuovo centro commerciale nelle vicinanze, 1st Avenue, e altri più vecchi come Gama, Prangin Mall e, naturalmente, il TOP Komtar.
Camera: molto spaziosa per 2 persone! Tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno era fornito. Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero confortevole ❤️.
Piscina: ha una piscina con fondo in acrilico con una vista mozzafiato su Georgetown. Che bello! Vista meravigliosa da qui!

RRlmeThe hotel is modern and very pretty! Love the decoration and design. It’s clean, the bed is comfortable (not the pillow) and I love the shower water pressure and the idea of having water dispenser for sustainability drive.
A few things that disappointed a little:
1. Was assigned to room 212 which is located close to lift, I barely slept on the first night. One group of guests walked pass ard 12:50am and were talking and laughing so loudly, followed by the loud door closing sound (no soft closing). Then another group came back around 1:45am and I woke up because of the loud door opening and closing sound (3 times)…the aircon was centralised and quite cold, tried adjusting to higher temperature with lower volume but the control parcel is useless. The pillow was not comfortable also, the cotton was not even, too high for my liking. Morning 8:45am the house keeping person tried accessing the store room and entered the wrong PIN code for a few times and the beeping sound was non stop and I woke up again :(
2. Thankfully we were changed to another room at level 3, I managed to sleep better for the 2nd and 3rd night. But when we came back on Day 3, I wanted to watch TV but the remote control was missing. We called the front desk for a few times but no answer around 11pm, had to go down and request for the remote control to be delivered to my room. Guess what, we waited for 15 mins but no one came, called again and finally the house keeping staff showed up after 5 mins. Then when we opened the door, he asked us multiple times that why it’s missing and even requested us to check drawers etc. we searched everywhere before we called, only being accused after waiting for 20 mins. Then waited another 5 mins for him to get a new one and came back. So speechless…
3. I like the free coffee service that they offer, however there’s no food options and no room service. Most of the nearby shops close early and it’s quite hard to find for food at night if you are hungry
4. Not all the staffs are very friendly, the lady receptionist that we encountered was not super friendly and helpful. She told me that when we came down, the replacement room would be ready but it’s not, I waited for another 5 mins standing there until she got everything sorted out. Felt that she was unwilling to help

Le mutandine non erano disponibili ma sono state spedite rapidamente dopo una chiamata al desk front. Le opzioni di canale TV sono ancora scarse, e è stato terribile quando il WiFi è sbagliato. Si prega di assicurarsi una migliore connessione.

Nessun deposito al check-in, check-in e check-out è stato un brindisi, parcheggio fornito, il telaio della camera è pulito e centralizzato con aria condizionata raffredda la camera molto rapidamente, il letto e il letto è comodo, la pulizia è di punta, c'è una piscina e un giardino che è bello, e la TV canali erano decenti

Non ho convalidato la mia targa e quando sono uscito, mi sono stato prelevato rm60+ per il parcheggio di notte. Questo è stato ordinato molto rapidamente ma è stato un problema, l'ingresso nella stanza dal parcheggio è strano e non disabili amico.
In generale, ho avuto un buon riposo a St giles wembley a un prezzo decente, mi sono unito alla compagnia e ho avuto una bella tazza di caffè al lobby. Ho avuto una stanza vicino all’ascensore, così c’era rumore fuori, quindi la prova del suono non è molto buona. Ma si sente al sicuro e la stanza pulita si sente bene.Un solido 4 su 5 avrebbe potuto essere meglio se fosse venuto con colazione meno il hiccup a tasse di parcheggio.

Every little detail was well thought out, and we truly felt relaxed and pampered throughout our stay. We loved every second of it and will definitely come again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect getaway! ❤️

KKanitthaLa stanza puzzava di muffa quando ci sono entrato per la prima volta... credo a causa della moquette... l'hotel è piuttosto vecchio ma è così vicino alla spiaggia e si può vedere il mare dal balcone
La stanza non era molto pulita, specialmente nel bagno c'erano delle macchie nere e la doccia del bidet era rustica e l'aria condizionata non è fredda come avrei voluto
La piscina chiude alle 6.30 / troppo presto
Il personale alla reception è molto gentile
La colazione costa 30 rm / la varietà del cibo è accettabile rispetto al prezzo ma la pulizia è così terribile come ho visto le tovaglie erano sporche come se non le lavassero mai e c'era anche cacca di uccello sulla sedia
Nel complesso è accettabile se vuoi stare vicino alla spiaggia con il prezzo economico ma non aspettarti la pulizia
