RR-OMYNewly opened hotel, walking distance to Jonker. Sheltered carpark. Rooms are big, clean and provided with good amenities. The bed was good to sleep, king size, but the pillows could do better. Very spacious toilet and shower area. Will definitely come back to stay again. Suitable for couples and families.

CCheeWH79Adoro l'arredamento di questo hotel. L'arredamento è lussuoso ed elegante. La vasca da bagno è uno dei punti forti della camera. Lo spuntino di benvenuto e il tè sono unici, tipici della tradizione Peranakan. La colazione è preparata al momento anziché a buffet, ma è possibile ordinare tutto ciò che si desidera. La posizione è strategica, vicino a Kampung Morten e al fiume Melaka. Il personale è molto attento e cordiale. Altamente raccomandato.

AAkif RidhwanWe checked in quite late and the staff at the desk very helpful with the check-in process but my sister was offered a rm30 breakfast buffet while they didnt offered me and that was quite a bummer. we tried asking them about the breakfast the next day and said that it was rm45 while my sister got it for rm30. thats the only downside but the room was all good

AAlfredo KExceed my expectations!. This was my first stay here and overall a very good experience. The location is great close to top attractions and easily walkable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making for a restful night. The room ensuite with bathroom that comes with new WC and completes with high pressure rain shower, hot & cold water, shampoo and body washer. The AC in the room is good and a wall fan to circulate the cold air in the room. The hotel is clean and very close to Red Square. The locker is provided with towel, slippers, toothbrush and a bottle of drinking water. The front desk staff were friendly & informative. The hotel is cozy, new and well-maintained with a lift and a clean pool. Even with a 3 star hotel, it feels like a 4 star hotel. The self service simple breakfast offering mini croissant, white bread, jam, butter, local made ”kaya”, cereals & cornflakes with milk, fruits such as orange & papaya and hard boiled egg. Breakfast starts at 8 AM to end at 10AM. Coffee & Tea served with milk creamer & sugar. The common area has a lot of seating to chill and the public areas invite socialization with other guests. The Coffee & Tea served whole day at the common area with Coway filtered water machine that comes with Hot & Cold Water. The hair dryer, an iron and iron board are provided at the common area. The most greatest plus point of this place is its location, you can walk to Jonker Street, Dataran Pahlawan & Mahkota Parada Mall and A Formosa within 5 to 10 mins. The service was impeccable, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The central location made exploring the city convenient. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Malacca and for sure I will come back again.

SStaycaylustLa camera è del The Pines Hotel, la posizione è ottima e la camera accogliente. Ma non c'erano servizi come il minibar o lo spazzolino da denti. L'unico articolo disponibile erano gli asciugamani. Inoltre non c'è la connessione wifi. La camera è pulita e biq. E la vista dalla camera (23° piano) è spettacolare. Non c'era la doccia per la doccetta vicino al WC.

CChikibumbum92This was our fifth stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. 1. Check-in The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite and welcoming. I had requested a Queen Bed room instead of Twin Beds. However, I was informed that because my booking was made at the last minute (one day before check-in), only a Twin Bed room was available as all Queen Bed rooms were fully occupied. We accepted the explanation and proceeded with the room provided. 2. Room Condition Upon entering the room, the first issue we noticed was the air conditioning. Despite setting the fan speed to high, the room remained warm and the air conditioner was not cooling properly. 3. Bathroom There appeared to be a blockage beneath the sink, as water was pooling around the sink and toilet area. In addition, the shower holder was broken while we were using the shower. We chose not to complain and continued our stay. 4. Room Door & Bathroom Door The bathroom door could not be closed properly unless it was pulled and pushed firmly. The more serious issue occurred the next morning after breakfast when our room door became stuck and could not be opened. We contacted maintenance, and the team arrived to inspect the problem. From approximately 8:00 AM onwards, we were unable to access our room. Around 8:30 AM, the maintenance team requested approval from the Front Office to move us to another room because the repair would require additional time. However, they informed that changing rooms would incur an additional charge because we were checking out on the same day. I strongly disagree with this decision. From 8:30 AM until our checkout time at 12:00/12:30 PM, we were still paying guests of the hotel. The room issue was caused by a defect on the hotel’s side, and guests should not be charged extra to move rooms due to problems beyond their control. The Most Disappointing Part During check-in, we were informed that no Queen Bed Deluxe Rooms were available. However, while the maintenance team was accessing our room through the connecting room next door, we discovered that the adjacent room was vacant and equipped with a Queen Bed. If the actual reason was that the room was unavailable due to maintenance, it would have been more professional and honest to explain that from the beginning rather than simply saying all Queen Bed rooms were fully occupied. This experience has left us very disappointed. Every time we visit Melaka, this hotel has always been our preferred choice. However, after this stay, we have decided not to return. I appreciate the hospitality shown by the staff during check-in, but I sincerely hope the hotel will improve both its facilities and service standards. Thank you.

UUtente ospite1o giorno di esperienza di check-in:- Molto male. Il check-in era regolare. Una volta usciti dall'ascensore al 22° livello, l'intero corridoio è umido e stufo, nessuna aria condizionata. Dopo di che, ci accenderemo nella nostra stanza. L'intera stanza era umida e stufa. Devo usare il controllo remoto per girare l'aria condizionata (il loro aria condizionata è quella piccola installata per il tipo di casa - uno per la zona e per la camera da letto). Dopo 20-30 min, pensava che la stanza si raffredderebbe lentamente .... no ... Abbiamo tutti cominciato a sudare nella stanza, perché l'aria condizionata non è in grado di raffreddare l'intera stanza. Ci sono stati 2 letti singoli in e area di soggiorno e un letto di dimensioni regina nella camera da letto (Sito web si trova King size e 2 letti singoli). Abbiamo andato alla reception per lamentarci.Poiché il piccolo aircondition è troppo debole per la grande area. Neanche la piccola stanza non può raffreddare. Chiedi di cambiare in una stanza di connessione. Hanno offerto di cambiare in una stanza di connessione camera deluxe (2 super singolo) + Suite (1 grandezza re + area di soggiorno). Questa è l'unica opzione. Accettamo e ci alziamo RM700. Ricezione richiesta chiederanno al tecnico di controllare l'ariacone al corridoio ... Finestra non ha fatto azioni di nuovo .... Abbiamo capito che quando la porta dell'ascensore si apre su alcuni piani quando arrivano gli ospiti, i corridoi sono tutti umidi e stufati! Abbiamo ricevuto le camere a livello 15, Yap .... tutti i corridoi sono stufati senza aria condizionata. Anche la zona di accoglienza è più fredda. L'unico punto più importante è l'atteggiamento del personale. La camera di connessione era molto meglio con aria condizionata più forte. La posizione è buona con cibi e massaggi intorno a questo hotel. L'hotel è stato molto incantato e ha un'ottima risposta da parte del custode, e noi chiediamo un piatto aggiuntivo che non verrà mai. Non tornerà più.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel is quite clean, I think its because it is quite new. Good to stay and sleep. Go to famous place of interest is about a 15 min grab ride only. Everytime you drive out of the hotel, need to pay $5, not sure why they implement this rule, other hotels I stay do not have such rule. Also, when my family and I were visiting one the facilities in the hotel, one of the function room, there were some people cleaning inside and they shouted at us with very loud & sudden voice so we didn't go in. They were cleaning the floor and I think they were afraid that we will step inside because the floor is clean but I feel that they should not have shouted. We are the hotel guest so if they do not want us to step into the function room, they could have said it nicely instead of shouting. My family and I were startled by the sudden shout. The front reception people were very friendly and professional though.
