Hotel 4 stelle a Chania

We had a wonderful stay, starting with the warm welcome from the owner, with lots of tips for our visit to Chania. It is a charming historical building in a central location in the old town, a short walk from the harbour, in a quiet side street. We had a spacious and well-equipped room with a very comfortable bed, some lovely complementary wine, other drinks in the fridge, as well as fruit and chocolates. Our room had a small, private balcony but we also had access to the wonderful roof terrace - a green oasis with views across the town. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Selected Suite was simply perfect! The location is amazing, and the room itself is unbelievable, everything brand new, with stunning design and incredible comfort. The space is large, with a beautiful terrace, a huge shower, and modern detail, the steam room was a big bonus after a long day.  Honestly, the decoration is so impressive I could happily live here. Everything was spotless every single day, it’s honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. I felt so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. The team even prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for my partner, which made our stay extra special. Parking was very easy, the reception is available at all times and always helpful, and the cleaning ladies are just fantastic, smiling, kind, and doing an excellent job. A very special thank you to Ayu, who was absolutely adorable and made our stay unforgettable with her kindness and warmth. I recommend this place 100%! I cannot wait to come back. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to improve everything was truly perfect.

Il personale del servizio dell'hotel è molto entusiasta, la stanza è aggiornata gratuitamente, la stanza è molto ampia e pulita, la scena sulla piazza è bella, si può vedere la lampada, il comfort del letto, dormire più di otto ore.La colazione è molto deliziosa, molto vicina alla città vecchia, a piedi 10 minuti al porto, un buon hotel.

Un posto assolutamente fantastico in una posizione perfetta, solo un breve passo lungo il mare, davanti alla vecchia città storica di Chania e al porto di Venezia. In un altro senso, un giro ancora più breve verso il porto e la spiaggia di Nea Chora - che ha un sacco di bar e ristoranti. La struttura è situata direttamente sul lato del mare in una posizione tranquilla - con una bella piscina e una vista incredibile sul mare ovunque si trovava. Aveva la mia camera pronta presto - che era fantastica. Ero incredibilmente fortunato a avere una suite con un tubo caldo proprio sul fronte del mare - bellamente decorata, fresca, pulita e la vista dal balcone era incredibile. Credo che il colazione sia incluso per tutti gli ospiti, che era bello con una vasta gamma di bevande calde e fredde e pastiglie. L'unica critica è di me stessa che non sono rimasto più. Tornerei in un battito cardiaco!

La stanza era perfetta esattamente come ci aspettavamo. Veniamo in macchina e Christina era molto utile. Ci ha spiegato dove possiamo parcheggiare. La stanza era davvero bella. Mi piace davvero come hanno cambiato questi piccoli posti in camere davvero bellissime e confortevoli. Il colazione era buono. La gente è davvero benvenuta nella posizione è perfetta. È come pochi passi al porto principale.

The spa - hamam, sauna and indoor pool (1m deep though?!) is the hotel’s best feature. There is no beach access though, so I went to Nea Hora and Golden beach. Rooms - too small, lack of storage space, complex buttons and unnecessarily complicated console. It was quiet even though I was given a 2nd floor room. The overall signage in the hotel is confusing too. Beds and pillows - huge and comfy. Food - excellent. Massage decent. Toiletries good. Only frontal views are of the sea, but cost 10x more! Otherwise - trash can views!😤 A la carte breakfast - too slow, you eat less, always a misunderstanding… and after you order they take away the menu… Rooftop pool - a scam! Sunbeds always occcupied and need to be booked to see the sunset 🙄 there is another rooftop on 7th floor but after 10min you want to leave, because there are no showers, a pool, toilet or a bar… Staff is young, fakely polite, too slow and not very responsive - obviously trained for certain types of guests (culturally unexperienced). So even to get a locker in the spa you had to wait to be explained how to unlock it (and pass a test?!), even though there are two people at the reception desk. My coffee capsules, sweetener, and teas were not replaced the following morning during the housekeeping visit and a used glass was not washed. The balcony pool is tiny and got a lot of fluff from the street, plus I didn’t feel comfortable using it with it being visible from the street and building right across the street. I was also called at 21:30 (I was asleep?!) to check whether I was satisfied with a complimentary 30min massage (due to the poor room view)… 🤷🏼♀️ I understand that it is a new hotel and they are trying their best but I also paid 800+€ for two nights and was frustrated during 50% of my stay… 😒 I attended a high school for tourism and hospitality, worked as a masseuse, also and worked in 5-* hotels Chania 30 years ago, but stayed in a multitude of 4-5 star hotels worldwide since. Especially in Asia where the service is top notch. Therefore, all of this is not acceptable for such a high price. Yes, the welcome drink is nice, and so is the complimentary massage, but you should do better, Hilton!

La struttura è stata molto amichevole e utile, e la camera è stata buona, abbiamo ricevuto un aggiornamento gratuito, che ci ha trasferiti in un altro dei loro altri hotel (Corissia Princess Hotel) che è stato bello. La custodia delle case avrebbe potuto essere più approfondita, abbiamo lasciato le tute sul pavimento del bagno e non sono state sostituite, non hanno nemmeno riempito i sacchi di tè, ma la ricezione è veloce per riparare. L'acqua calda usciva uno dei giorni che era annoiante, ma la manutenzione era veloce per ripararla. Le piscine, le sedie di spiaggia, la zona privata di spiaggia sembrava grande, ma non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di usarle, perché il tempo non era grande e la piscina interna chiusa circa le 7:00. La colazione era buona e la posizione era bella (non collegata all'hotel)

Room was very clean and spacious. The facilities are modern and the pool overlooking the sea is amazing with stunning views. The hotel is a little out of town which is great to avoid the hustle and bustle but does require a taxi or a short walk from the end of the bus line. We would stay here again.

Essendo un hotel a quattro stelle, è davvero all'altezza del suo nome. La hall e il ristorante al secondo piano sono bellissimi, con arredi eleganti e camere spaziose. Anche le camere sono belle e i 22 metri quadrati sono generalmente soddisfacenti. La biancheria da letto e i copripiumini sono molto comodi. La colazione è eccellente, con un'ampia varietà di scelta e un servizio impeccabile. A ogni persona viene servita la propria teiera e un set di tazze, e il tè viene servito al tavolo. Anche il caffè viene servito al tavolo. I tavoli hanno doppie tovaglie, stirate con cura. Questo livello di servizio si trova solitamente negli hotel a cinque stelle, e il Cacardon Hotel lo offre, il che è notevole. Anche il deposito bagagli dopo l'arrivo e il check-out anticipati è molto comodo. Il personale della reception è molto attento ed entusiasta, e risponde pazientemente a qualsiasi domanda. La posizione è ottima, proprio di fronte all'ingresso di un antico edificio a Chania (l'edificio è attualmente in fase di ristrutturazione e potrebbe essere convertito in un centro di souvenir turistici). È a soli 200-300 metri dal centro storico, molto comodo. Un soggiorno di due notti valeva ampiamente il prezzo. L'unica cosa che potrebbe essere migliorata è che le scatole dei fazzoletti sono posizionate sotto il lavandino, rendendole difficili da trovare senza una ricerca attenta. Molto bella esperienza, l’accoglienza è stata perfetta, le camere si trovano a 2-3min della ricezione i’ai été accompagné jusqu’à ma chambre. Il signor de l’accueil ha anche proposto di portare la mia valigia la stanza non è di ogni giovinezza, ma è molto grande e bellamente decorata. La stanza è un po’ umida ma ben attrezzata, ci è anche un bidet. La chambre à la climatisation qui fonctionne au top et un déshumidifier d’air. Les prises sont en suffisance et à des endroits stratégiques. Les réfrigérateurs ne refroidit pas bien mais c’est un détail. Il colazione è corretto e con prodotti locali e le cameriere sono davvero gentile e servibile. Le plus c'est très clair l'accueil et le personnel les personnes sont absolument adorable, à l'écoute, on m'a recommandé les restaurants autour à privilégier et ceux à éviter et l'emplacement est top la rue est calme mais à proximité de tout!
