Hotel 4 stelle a Bordeaux

It is not easy to rate this establishment. Its not that its not good, just it may be good for a small segment of travellers. The B&B is in a renovated old building with some very nice architectural artefacts. However, the design of the use of space is not too friendly to a traveler, especially if you plan to stay there for a few days or more. Let me first talk about the things I like about this B&B: 1. Beautiful old building, 2. very good room size for the room I rented, including a huge bathroom with bathtub. The room is bright with two big french door and window. Areas that I think it would improve to make staying there more enjoyable and convenient: 1. There is no closet or to put your clothes, so we have to lay out all our clothings on a big coach. If you have clothes, pants and jackets you want to hang, you may be out of luck, since there is very little space for hanging clothes, and the hangers supplied could not hang pants. So we lay our pants on the big couch. 2. The night tables are very small and not too much space to put a tablet and a phone and a glass of water there.We have to put the table lamp on the floor in order to make space for other items. 3. The toilet is in a different room outside of the bedroom area, and away from the bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no sink in the toilet area, and each time after going to toilet, one have to walk over to the bathroom to wash your hands, a bit inconvenient. 4. On arrival, we were asked what kind of bread we want in the morning, we indicated chocolate croissant, and we were given that for the 5 days we stayed there for breakfast. I think it would have been nice if they have offered other choices each morning. 5. There is no menu for the breakfast, and person looking after the breakfast would come and ask what you want. Unless I know of all the items that they can provide, I could only ask for the familiar items. I thought a simple menu with different offerings would be useful for clients.

Al momento del check-out, mi è stata addebitata la colazione, che non ho usufruito. Quando mi sono lamentato, la ragazza alla reception mi ha detto in francese: ”Oh, sei giapponese, che fastidio!”. Riuscivo a sentirla e a capire cosa stesse dicendo. Tenete presente che è completamente anti-asiatica.

La stanza è molto pulita e spaziosa. Quando ho avuto un problema con la mia macchina, il manager l'ha risolto, anche se è successo dopo averla controllata. Ricordo che Bordeaux è una delle migliori città e l'Hotel Vatel è la migliore a Bordeaux.

excellent location, right next to Grand Theater, but the entrance is on a side street. my room was on the top floor and completely quiet. very comfortable bed, coffee and water in the room, Nuxe toiletries, there is apparently even an exercise room, which I did not use. clean, great service, very spacious bathroom with a bath tub, and 2 sinks (i think I was upgraded), attentive service. fantastic coffee shop right next door (but opens at 9 and closed on weekends). will def stay again.

La posizione è molto comoda. Si può prendere l'autobus A direttamente dall'aeroporto. L'hotel è pulito e ordinato. Il servizio alla reception è eccellente. Ne vale la pena. C'è un grande centro commerciale nelle vicinanze che offre di tutto. È molto comodo.

Esperienza ”Indigo” davvero piacevole. Ottima accoglienza e servizio, in particolare l'offerta molto dolce di croissant e pasticcini gratuiti in partenza con GF al mattino, che consente ai viaggiatori indaffarati di prendere e portare via una semplice colazione. Nel complesso un soggiorno abbastanza piacevole, soprattutto se vi piace correre al mattino, è a pochi passi dal podio lungo il fiume Gironna, che è così bello!

🟢 The location was very convenient and easy to travel around. We parked there and then used the tramway to get around. Convenient and easy. The inside of the building looks fresh and good. The rooms were quite big so we could spread everywhere. Surprised to see the toilets and showers separated, but enjoyable. Large choice for the breakfast for 18€ but had to wait sometimes for refill. 🔴 the staff wasn't really friendly except if you were the one to do your approach and talk to them. There was an alarm early morning during our stay and no-one was at the reception to greet us and tell us if we had to evacuate or anything. When we (other clients and us) told the réceptionnist it wasn't normal she got upset and replied back instead of apologising or anything. The staff didn't know what they were supposed to do in this case. Not reassuring if there's an actual fire someday. 🟡 cleaning wasn't amazing but could have been worse so no comment on that.

La camera d'albergo era ok, ma la posizione era un po' fuori mano. Ho soggiornato per tre notti e mi è stato addebitato un deposito di 380 euro, collegato alla mia carta di credito. Ho confermato tutto alla reception prima di partire e sembrava tutto a posto. Due giorni dopo, mi hanno rimborsato il deposito, ma mi hanno addebitato 132 euro. Quando ho chiamato per chiedere cosa fosse successo, mi hanno detto che avevamo usufruito della colazione dell'hotel, che abbiamo rifiutato. L'hotel ha impiegato un minuto per verificare i dati e ha detto che si trattava di un errore. Hanno detto che avevano bisogno del mio numero di conto IBAN, ma la Bank of China non ha quel conto. Hanno detto che mi avrebbero inviato la procedura per controllare il conto. La prima volta, ho dato loro il numero di conto di mio marito, ma un'ora dopo non avevo ancora ricevuto l'email. La seconda volta che ho chiamato, mi hanno dato il mio indirizzo email, ma non ho risposto. Ho invece scritto all'hotel. Vedrò quando risponderanno. Sembra che l'abbiano fatto apposta.

L'hotel gode di una posizione comoda e centrale e offre ogni mattina una ricca colazione. Tuttavia, la palestra è piuttosto spartana e non include un tapis roulant. Inoltre, l'acqua potabile deve essere prelevata al Piano 1, il che potrebbe risultare scomodo per alcuni ospiti. L'hotel dispone di un ristorante interno che offre numerose opzioni per chi non vuole camminare. Nel complesso, un buon soggiorno se si apprezzano la posizione e la colazione, ma le strutture per il fitness sono limitate.

La camera è pulita e il quartiere è tranquillo. È un po' lontano dal centro città ma non ci vuole molto per camminare. L'unico piccolo inconveniente è che le camere nell'edificio sul retro non hanno l'ascensore (ci sono solo due piani). Al momento del check-out potrete chiedere al personale dell'hotel di aiutarvi a trasportare i bagagli al piano di sotto.
