Ho prenotato al Burdigala tramite il loro sito, per una tappa intermedia di un lungo tour per la Francia, attratta dalle foto e dalle ottime recensioni dell'hotel. Sono stata contattata via e-mail diversi giorni prima del mio arrivo, per un presunto problema della carta (che stavo tranquillamente utilizzando quotidianamente), mail che riportava che se non avessi provveduto a verificare (?) la carta entro 24 ore la mia prenotazione avrebbe potuto essere cancellata. Sorvolando sul fatto che in vacanza raramente controllo le e-mail, e che il messaggio di conferma della prenotazione diceva che sarebbe immediatamente stato addebitato il pagamento, ho proceduto con la richiesta di conferma. ...che non ha funzionato: sono stata contattata nuovamente via e-mail e poi via telefono con una comunicazione dello stesso tenore e perdendo molto tempo per quello che, alla fine, si è rivelato un problema interno dell'hotel ma senza per questo ricevere mezza parola di scuse per il tempo perso mentre mi stavo rilassando a Parigi. L'ansia è perdurata fino al giorno stesso dell'arrivo, in quanto mi era stato comunicato che se non fossi arrivata entro una certa ora, la prenotazione sarebbe stata cancellata. Non essendo l'hotel strapieno ho trovato questo atteggiamento davvero molto sgradevole. Nel complesso ritengo che l'hotel non fosse assolutamente all'altezza di un 4*, in particolar modo per la stanza (e nello specifico il bagno della stanza, diviso tra doccia e lavandino da una parte e toilette dall'altra, toilette tanto piccola da sembrare un armadio e con odore di scarico già all'arrivo). Piuttosto che questionare abbiamo preferito goderci la città, ma non consiglierei per nulla questo hotel.

Stayed at this charming hotel for two nights. Very clean basic room and bathroom perfectly adequate. The staff were really helpful and welcoming a great find. We will return. Great location handy for all types of transport and walking distance to fantastic restaurants and bars. Shopping close by if that’s your thing. Almost on the Riverside.

First time in Bordeaux, we booked a nice room here. Honestly, we're lucky enough that we're used to staying in top hotels, and this place blew us away. I'd go back to Bordeaux just to stay here again. The term ”boutique hotel” is so over-used these days, but Villas Foch is truly a boutique hotel. It's small, independently operated. In a nice quiet residential area. The service was off the charts. Everyone was so friendly and helpful to us. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous inside. I have no idea who the designer was, but huge kudos to them. The rooms are gorgeous, common areas are gorgeous. Breakfast was great. The bar here is great. Room was super comfy, bed was comfy, AC was great. The staff could not have been better. Like everyone went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. Really, I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Huge thank you to the staff here, we had a wonderful stay.

The hotel is outrageous in historical layout. Super location in city center close to all the best place. Lots of shopping options and best restaurants. near all the night activities. No need for taxi just walk along the main road for sightseeing. Close to convenient public transportation. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have lots of information about activities to do. Breakfast is wonderful and tasty! I recommend to any one visiting Bordeaux. I will return!

Firstly do not be fooled like I was by the Indigo web page (which avoids sharing actual pictures of the hotel). This hotel is the old Mercure which was shabby when they had it. The exterior resembles an 1980's office building with glass frontage. My heart actually sank when I realised where I had booked. My room (one of the suites), was located on the sixth floor, mostly business meeting rooms. The room was at best average but the windows had no ability to let air circulate, combine this with a very poor AC, resulted in greenhouse like temperature's in March, in summer it would be unbearable. The room itself was €340.00 per night had no towels, combined with pathetic AC and an overall aesthetic from the 70's was not good value. It was clearly squeezed onto the business floor to extract (gouge) suckers like me. The corridors to the room were poorly maintained with insufficient lighting, I would not be happy for any female co-workers to book there and in fact have instructed the HR team to delist the hotel. The breakfast was frankly a disgrace, no food left at 08:30, poor staff, lack of care and very poor service, it was shocking. On departure I spoke with the manager and shared my thoughts and concerns, they offered me a free breakfast at €23.00. I'm not a serial reviewer or complainer but honestly, if you have another option please follow it, Bordeaux is one of my favourite cities, vibrant and full of adventures it deserves hotels far better than this one.

Questo hotel è un'albergo che inganna i clienti. se si opta per una camera doppia confortevole, ti mostrano le foto con due camere VERY SPACY (non avrai probabilmente, hanno solo queste due) . poi premere il pulsante di prenotazione e nella conferma di posta elettronica vedrai una stanza molto più piccola (avrai; hanno circa 30 di loro). Fai una Screenshot prima di ordinare e stare in piedi se ti senti ingoiato, la differenza è circa 15-20m2. it’s an ongoing scheme to pull you over the table! L'hotel è classificato 4* ma forse vale 2*. l'interno è davvero obsoleto. il prezzo è troppo costoso per quello che si ottiene. offrono su alcune piattaforme di prenotazione parcheggio a un prezzo decente (20€). ma non hanno. legale, Non si può quasi fermare davanti all'hotel. è al vostro fianco trovare un P. Questi sono molto rari e molto costosi. Parcheggio stradale 35€ per 4,25h (tra 09h-19h). nessun scherzo !!! Parcheggio sotterraneo è 35€, se non è pieno. e guardate i commenti più recenti (fake / pagato per ?) da parte degli Stati Uniti e dei viaggiatori canadesi. dall'inizio del 2020 fino al Nov. 8th 2021 ci erano NON viaggiatori transatlantici (covid !!!). che produsse questi commenti, tutti classificati con una fantasia 10.0 ??? bottom line: AVOID! ... per me: mai !!!
