Hotel 3 stelle a Cuzco

Questo hotel è situato in posizione centrale a pochi passi dai mercati e dalla piazza principale. I letti sono comodi. Le camere con letto re sono piccole. Il cortile è bello. Il colazione è stato medio a meno della media. Internet è gratuito ma intermittente al meglio. C'è un nightclub vicino che suona musica alta fino alle 3:30, che rende davvero difficile dormire. Il motivo per cui sto dando a questo hotel 3 stelle è il servizio eccellente che abbiamo ricevuto da Oscar Silva Casafranca. Ha aiutato con il nostro bagaglio e ha risposto rapidamente a qualsiasi domanda o domande che abbiamo.

I stayed at this hotel twice; in between I went to Macchu Pichu and left the baggage at the hotel. Location wise - it’s very central with a PeruRail office next door albeit the other ones are not too far. Reception is 24hr and there is a nice courtyard with a restaurant as well as a common area with a kitchen at the back. I stayed in the Teepee tent on both occasions; first time the rate was more affordable at around gbp40/night. In July, the night gets cold. But the tent does have additional blankets and a heater. This worked except on the last night as it seems it stopped in middle of the night. Without the heater, the room was quite cold. The common bathroom is at the back; the showers are ok and you get enough privacy. I noticed the hot water does take a while to come through. I left the baggage in the storage - no issues. Overall good but for same price bracket I would try somewhere else.

The rooms were clean and comfortable with a storage heater and hot shower. About 10 minutes walk to the main square. However, when we arrived it was a little strange for us when the receptionist said that we didn't have a booking there even though we had and I had the confirmation receipt to show him. He wasn't responsive until I called Trip.com online service, and then he continued looking and said that he actually found it, so maybe be aware of this happening when you arrive. It was also a little strange that after they checked us in, we had a lot of luggage and staff showed us to the rooms that were quite a walk away and up one set of stairs and two sets of elevators, that they didn't help with anything of the bags. We only noticed this as we had much better service in other hotels in Cusco.

Let me start with the positives, stylish design, exactly like the pics advertised, from entering the hotel to the resting area to the balcony to the room, all very nice. But you need to be ready for the stairs if you not getting here by car, going out and coming back from the square, especially if you have luggage or backpack, everyone arriving here were out of breath. The bathroom has odor coming up from the pipe, which is normal for house this old, if you are okay with it. I was in room 201, sound proof does not exist, can hear car passing, dog barking, guests coming back from partying at night, tourists cheering & leaving hotel for trips at 3:30am, didn’t get much sleep. Most disappointing thing was hot water, I arrived in the afternoon climbing up the stairs, was hoping to have a quick shower before heading out for dinner, stood in the bathroom waited 5mins for hot water, was told be staff hot water was out they are trying to fix, came back after drinks, still no hot water, was very late so didn’t call staff, tried to have a shower before check out at 7am, hot water was still not available after another good 5mins standing in the shower… sigh

Questo posto è un vero gioiello, ci siamo sentiti come a casa! La gentilezza dei padroni di casa e del personale, le camere pulite, accoglienti e spaziose, la vista mozzafiato sulla città e la piacevole colazione valgono ampiamente la fatica di salire i gradini per raggiungerla. Grazie mille per l'accoglienza e l'aiuto, se il nostro cammino ci porterà di nuovo a Cusco torneremo all'Illa B&B senza esitazione. Lo consiglio al 100%!

Abbiamo prenotato il due appartamento ‑, che condivide una camera da letto un layout pratico che funziona bene per le famiglie. Il forno ha preso un po' di abituazione all'inizio, ma l'abbiamo rapidamente scoperta. La cucina è stata riempita di cottura e utensili. It’s an 8‑minute walk to Plaza de Armas; the walk is gentle and helpful for altitude acclimatization after arrival in Cusco. Un supermercato si trova a destra, incredibilmente conveniente per raccogliere i pasti per preparare i pasti prima di iniziare ‑mattutina Rainbow Mountain viaggia o viaggia. Una cosa da notare: questa proprietà non offre il magazzinaggio dei bagagli dopo aver controllato ‑out.

I arrived in the hotel found that the bath tub doesn’t have stopper so asked them to provide stopper but was given a day later and there is no hand wash provided. No soap provided on my last day. Also the hotel staff asked me to pay additional $55.00 as they don’t seem to have record of my arrival to Peru and I have come illegally to Peru.. I have to argue about it and finally they found my arrival details. Breakfast is fantastic and cleanliness is good as well.. Apart from minor issues it is good..near to all amenities .

Nel complesso, l'hotel è discreto per Cusco. È una stanza piccola con una finestra minuscola, un bagno molto piccolo, niente riscaldamento, niente acqua potabile, niente pantofole, ma gli do un 5 per la pulizia, la posizione e il fatto che l'hotel sia nuovo. Quando ci siamo stati, il prezzo era di 90 dollari a notte, colazione esclusa. Per quel prezzo, va bene. Ma quando siamo partiti per due giorni e siamo tornati, il prezzo era salito a 180 dollari a notte, il che è semplicemente inimmaginabile per questo hotel. Dopo aver trascorso una settimana a Cusco, è diventato chiaro che prezzo e qualità sono un grosso problema non solo per questo hotel, ma anche per altri! Fanno prezzi elevati, ma offrono un servizio minimo!

Avevo effettuato due prenotazioni separate con questo hotel perché dovevo visitare Machu Picchu e pernottare lì. Il primo giorno del mio soggiorno, durante la prima prenotazione, mi è stato chiesto di pagare in un'unica soluzione anche la seconda. Non mi è stata rilasciata alcuna ricevuta, ma mi è stato assicurato che non ci sarebbero stati malintesi. Mi è stato detto di fare le valigie, lasciare i miei effetti personali alla reception, effettuare il check-out e poi effettuare nuovamente il check-in. Non capisco quindi perché mi sia stato richiesto di pagare la seconda prenotazione in anticipo, come avevo inizialmente pensato di fare, con la prima prenotazione (forse temevano che l'avrei cancellata). Come già accennato nel mio precedente post, i servizi sono gravemente carenti a causa della scarsa fornitura d'acqua: le tubature e lo scarico del WC sono molto rumorosi e il flusso d'acqua dal rubinetto è debole, come si vede nella foto di notte, e una mattina presto, durante un'escursione, gocciolava a filo. In breve, non ci tornerò più.
