Cama confortável, banheiro limpo com água quente.
A altitude de Cusco não é para amadores como eu!

Without exaggeration, Belmond Monasterio is the best hotel in Cusco. Even after trying two other higher-priced Belmond properties and the JW Marriott, I still firmly believe this is the ultimate choice.
The beauty of this hotel is beyond words. The elegant public spaces and tranquil gardens create an atmosphere of timeless serenity. The classic, historic walls whisper stories of the past, while the dazzling golden chapel adds a breathtaking sense of grandeur. Every detail is a masterpiece.
Yet, what truly sets Belmond Monasterio apart is its service. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Their service attitude is impeccable—perhaps the best in South America. A prime example: when I lost my credit card, they found it and returned it promptly. Compared to the Los Cabos Waldorf (which I mention due to its premium pricing), this hotel’s service is on another level—infinitely more personal, thoughtful, and heartfelt.
I would love to give special recognition to my butler, though unfortunately, I have forgotten his name.
In short, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Endless love for Belmond Monasterio.

LLanyingyinggetianQuesto è un hotel fuori dagli schemi; l'ingresso non si trova sulla strada principale, il che lo rende un po' difficile da trovare. È situato in un cortile adiacente, ma il vantaggio è che è aperto 24 ore su 24 con personale in servizio. Il proprietario e la receptionist sono stati molto gentili. I servizi in camera erano più completi rispetto ai tipici comfort di un hotel, come bollitore e bustine di tè, e le coperte erano piuttosto comode. Tuttavia, la mia camera era accanto a una scala di legno e il rumore delle persone che parlavano al primo piano e i tonfi di chi lasciava l'hotel prima di mezzanotte mi hanno svegliato. La colazione, sebbene à la carte, offriva una discreta scelta e mi sono saziato abbastanza, quindi è andata bene.

TThebullIl personale era molto amichevole e utile. ci sono rimaste 2 notti separate. Uno prima di Machu Picchu e l'altro dopo che sono tornato a Cusco da Machu Picchu. Le camere erano ragionevolmente spaziose e ben mantenute. La doccia d'acqua calda era buona. il letto era comodo. colazione. è stato un a mio parere abbastanza decente e di valore per soldi. inizia quanto prima alle 5 del mattino in modo che si può catturare le vostre tour mattinali dopo colazione. Gli aiutino a memorizzare il bagaglio mentre si parte sul viaggio del MP e tornare più tardi in modo che non si deve prenotare una notte extra solo per Conservare il bagaglio in hotel se soggiorni in acque calde per una notte (probabilmente non riesco a portare i bagagli di grandi dimensioni sul ferrovia peru/inca). posizione wise è sicuramente camminabile alla piazza. Tuttavia posso sentire rumore dall'esterno. credo che sia lo stesso Anche con la maggior parte degli hotel.

SS_KKThe rooms were clean and comfortable with a storage heater and hot shower. About 10 minutes walk to the main square. However, when we arrived it was a little strange for us when the receptionist said that we didn't have a booking there even though we had and I had the confirmation receipt to show him. He wasn't responsive until I called Trip.com online service, and then he continued looking and said that he actually found it, so maybe be aware of this happening when you arrive. It was also a little strange that after they checked us in, we had a lot of luggage and staff showed us to the rooms that were quite a walk away and up one set of stairs and two sets of elevators, that they didn't help with anything of the bags. We only noticed this as we had much better service in other hotels in Cusco.

KK TravelsLet me start with the positives, stylish design, exactly like the pics advertised, from entering the hotel to the resting area to the balcony to the room, all very nice.
But you need to be ready for the stairs if you not getting here by car, going out and coming back from the square, especially if you have luggage or backpack, everyone arriving here were out of breath.
The bathroom has odor coming up from the pipe, which is normal for house this old, if you are okay with it.
I was in room 201, sound proof does not exist, can hear car passing, dog barking, guests coming back from partying at night, tourists cheering & leaving hotel for trips at 3:30am, didn’t get much sleep.
Most disappointing thing was hot water, I arrived in the afternoon climbing up the stairs, was hoping to have a quick shower before heading out for dinner, stood in the bathroom waited 5mins for hot water, was told be staff hot water was out they are trying to fix, came back after drinks, still no hot water, was very late so didn’t call staff, tried to have a shower before check out at 7am, hot water was still not available after another good 5mins standing in the shower… sigh

UUtente ospiteI arrived in the hotel found that the bath tub doesn’t have stopper so asked them to provide stopper but was given a day later and there is no hand wash provided. No soap provided on my last day.
Also the hotel staff asked me to pay additional $55.00 as they don’t seem to have record of my arrival to Peru and I have come illegally to Peru.. I have to argue about it and finally they found my arrival details.
Breakfast is fantastic and cleanliness is good as well.. Apart from minor issues it is good..near to all amenities .

UUtente ospiteHad two separate bookings with the hotel as I was going to Machu Picchu and staying overnight there. During my first day at this hotel in my first reservation, I was asked to pay for this second booking together. No receipt given but was assured that there will not be any misunderstanding. Was told to pack and leave my things at the reception and check out and re-check in. So not sure why I needed to pay for the second reservation upfront in my first booking (Maybe afraid that I would cancel it as I was really tempted to). As mentioned in my previous post, the amenities are severly lacking, cause of low water supply, the pipes and toilet filling up is very loud and the water flow from the tap is like the picture at night and it was trickling and dripping one of the early mornings when I had a tour. In short, i will not stay here again.

Первое - здесь нет отопления, ни одной батареи. На третий день пребывания я заболела из-за холода. Почитав отзывы, я поняла что можно попросить обогреватель, что я и сделала.
Второе - слышимость действительно сильная. Огромные щели в дверях номера. Слышно абсолютно всё - как люди приходят и уходят, смотрят телевизор , разговаривают и тд. Я часто просыпалась среди ночи, когда люди уезжали на экскурсии и хлопали дверью .
Третье - очень скудный завтрак! Буквально две булки на человека, немного масла, сыр и колбаса, джем и на маленьком блюдце подают скрембл , по напиткам чай, кофе и это весь завтрак .
Также у меня возникла проблема с завтраками для экскурсий. Я просила приготовить их для меня , но никто этого не сделал. У меня было две экскурсии и получается за два завтрака я просто выбросила деньги на ветер.
Четвертое - за 5 дней моего пребывания НИ РАЗУ не было уборки в номере, хотя я читала , что уборка ежедневная. На 4 день я спросила почему в моем номере не убирают и мне сказали, что я должна была отдать ключ от номера и тогда они бы убрались. Но мне конечно же о таких условиях никто не сказал :)
Ну и последнее , женщина , которая готовит завтраки , как мне показалось, не взлюбила меня из-за того что я не говорю по испански. При этом я видела что она была милой с другими гостями.
Я бы не советовала этот отель!

GGomezHotel Santa Maria was the best hotel during my stay in Peru, which included not only Cusco, but also Lima and Aguas Calientes. The bed was comfortable, the Wifi worked well and reliably, and the serice was excellent in several ways. For example, when I requested an airport pickup at 10 pm after flying 28 straight hours, a friendly driver picked me up. Ruby was particularly helpful and very friendly and wanted the best for me as a tourist in her country. She asked follow-up questions about my experience at Machu Picchu after getting back from Machu Picchu Pueblo. It waa great Spanish practice! The men front staff were also gentlemenly willing to help. In addition to the very hospitable demeanor, the tour service also saved my trip. I booked a separate city tour with a different company on Trip.com, but that tour never happened. However, the tour services of Santa Maria gave me exactly what I wanted from their own tour booking service managed by Edith. So, rest assured that service, too, is reliable. Be wary of online city tours done online in Cusco. No need to worry at this hotel, though. I used it also for the Rainbow Mountain excursion. With Hotel Santa Maria, I wouldn't have truly experienced Cusco, Peru! Mil gracias for helping me realize my dream trip to its fullest extent!

JJay Kay NocturnalEconomico, quindi le camere sono piccole, con un piccolo bagno e niente riscaldamento, ma la posizione è fantastica. A soli 2 minuti a piedi da Plaza de Armas, con numerosi centri massaggi, bar, negozi, farmacie e le vie più famose sono proprio alla fine della strada dall'hotel.
