Hotel 3 stelle a Beppu

This hotel gives you a traditional & authentic onsen hotel experience. The room is very clean & private spa was the highlight, they have a public family spa which you can use when not occupied, it's a bigger outdoor bath but only pool. Dinner and breakfast were both impressively tasty. The only problem I encountered was communication with staff, they don't speak much English and miscommunication could occur: for example I was asked and selected dinner time at 8pm, however there's no such option, the latest time is 6:30 or something, glad we didn't miss that! And during check out I thought staff arranged taxi for me after we talked, but ended up they did not, overall the experience is enjoyable and relaxing. But I'd recommend to use translator to ensure communication.

Hotel is beautiful, dinner n breakfast were great. Location not convenient but it’s nice to just relax at the hotel. I think they should provide more than 1 trash bin in a room, and the towel rack should be big and tall enough for a bath towel. In the bathroom there’s no place to hang your towel. If you r sharing room with friends, it can be inconvenient that when one is using the onsen tub in room, the other cannot use the wash basin as the door is with glass n no curtain.

I stayed at the female room which is very wide and it was quite so I could sleep very good. Even though it’s a capsule hotel the beds are also wide and very comfortable. The price andlocation is very convenient , the hotel is on the Beppu tower and it’s 15minutes walking from the Beppu Station. They can offer to keep your luggage for free. I would stay at this place again 👍

Would recommend to get a bigger room if you have bigger luggage. Felt really cramped. Lol. The fridge wasn’t working when we checked into the room. Called the reception but the staff on duty didn’t understand English, he apologised and hung up :/ Anyway, it was good to have the in-house onsen and the staff(s) with minimal English speaking skills did try to assist as much as possible :)

Lavatrice ＜no asciugatrice ＞ sul primo piano.

Pros: Stayed at Room 203 meant for 5 person… Spacious and comfortable room! Had a window too! Good soundproofing between rooms. Only could hear passing by of trains while awake, so wasn’t a big an issue to us. TV has YouTube and Netflix to watch! Cons: No lift!!! We had to carry our heavy & big luggages to the 2nd floor! *Should indicate shortage of this important facility in the booking system! Only 2 parking spaces for 7 units. *Should also indicate in the booking system that parking spaces are first come first served and have to park at nearby paying car parks if both were being taken up. Will be nice to provide some garbage bags in the room as clearing of food waste from the room was definitely necessary during the many days of our stay! Dining table (super wobbly and one side of the table legs seemed like giving away very soon) needs to changed/repaired instantly!

Despite it says ocean view, there is only carpark view. And the building in the picture is actually not the bnb you will be staying at. It is the hotel where you will get the key. One aircon doesn't work and stopped multiple times when it gets too hot in the living room at first, we tried a couple of times turning it on again but still the temperature in the room is still very hot until we go out to the balcony and open the windows there. The wifi also doesn't work during our stay. It has free parking though which is convenient and there are lots of eating places and supermarkets around. Our unit doesn't have washing machine so make sure when you book, you book the one equipped with it (but when you book, the description is not very clear). There is no person stationed there so you have to get the key from another hotel which is around 1km away, so not suggested for travelers without cars.
