Originally a Brewery,it is now a guest house with a charming European ambience and transports one the times of thinking bone china and Wedge wood tea-pots. The Commemoration Plaque reads " Dedicated to the Glory of God and the Service of india and all Mankind on 8th April 1929.The Gift of Friends is the United states of India of America to the Young Women's Christian Association of India, Burma and Ceylon. Covering an extensive area, the Bungalows of lime mortar and stoped roofs add a quaint charm to the place and is a good example of early twentieth century architecture. A Conference / Marriage Hall with a dining hall, Kitchen and dormitories with 24 hours water supply is also available for public service. Makes you feel that you live in an homely atmosphere.
"Ywca anandgiri was located in middle of city on ettines road so location is good, had ample parking space as well, bed was small in length compared to 6 ft person, cleanliness was okay, for warm water kettle was not there so had to ask warm water each time from reception. Restaurant had both veg and non veg options so couldn't eat. Overall average stay with few things which can be improved also i stayed in bungalow which cost 2500 per person if you book directly but mmt charged me 3k per night which is 500 more per night."

JJashith VA Grand Stay in Ooty!
My recent stay at V Grand Hotel Ooty was an absolute delight, truly exceeding all expectations. If you're looking for luxury without the hefty price tag, this is your spot.
The rooms are incredibly luxurious, boasting 5-star amenities for what felt like a 3-star price. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by how modern and well-appointed everything was. They’ve thought of everything: a hot water dispenser right in the room, a large Sony TV with seamless Wi-Fi connectivity, and even a comfy recliner single-seater sofa. Plus, the convenience of a separate foldable extra bed is a huge bonus. What truly surprised me was how cozy and warm the room stayed, even without a heater – perfect for Ooty's cool climate.
Location-wise, it's ideal. V Grand Hotel is very close to Charring Cross, putting you right at the heart of Ooty's action, yet it remains remarkably calm and silent.

UUtente ospiteFavoloso, si trova su una collina a circa 20 minuti a piedi verso la città (sicuramente ottenere un rickshaw indietro). Non ci siamo resi conto che potevamo ordinare uova per colazione fino alla nostra seconda mattina (non le abbiamo offerte la prima mattina).
Il bagno non era stato pulito all'arrivo e c'erano segni di spazzatura sulla parete sopra la zona del tè/caffee. Abbiamo anche ritornato alla nostra camera tardi pomeriggio per trovare la manutenzione che lavorava sul nostro balcone - pensava che questo avrebbe potuto essere fatto dopo il check-out!
Favoloso doccia.
Il ristorante ha mangiato una notte e il cibo era molto buono. Le tasse elevate in Tamil Nadu sono state aggiunte al prezzo (quasi 25%) per tenere presente questo . Cocktails weee eccellente.
Abbiamo fatto il mattino “promenade” che valeva la pena di alzarsi.
La seconda notte, abbiamo portato una bottiglia d'acqua calda che è stata una bella sorpresa.
Il tè e le biscotti serviti tra 5 & 5.30pm che è stato un bel toccamento, anche se più del pasticceria di colazione sarebbe stato buono.
Si consiglia di rimanere qui come camere, posizione e ristorante sono eccellenti.

UUtente ospiteLa proprietà è buona per rimanere pulita e ben mantenuta, ma nessun ristorante tranne il colazione, ristoranti urbani sono troppo lontani auto tariffe 700 rs ritorno per 3.5 km che è troppo, zomato e Swiggy è lì, meno opzione di ristorante solo per vegetariani 2 a 3,rest tutto è buono non si lamentano, camera 101 dovrebbe avere vetro di vista inchiodata per motivi di privacy, che dovrebbe essere preso cura immediatamente, chiedere al proprietario di aprire ristorante così come per gli ospiti almeno . buona formazione e comportamento grazie 👍

UUtente ospiteRecently stayed at Mango Hills in a 2 bedroom apartment. Exterior of the hotel is clean and landscaping is beautiful. Staffs are friendly and polite. However the 2 bedrooms apartment we stayed is worn out and cleanliness is lacking. Linens are old and dirty with stains.
Breakfast is average and restaurant cleanliness is substandard. Hotel has potential but in need of upgrading works.

VVinoth SelvinHo avuto un ottimo soggiorno all'hotel. Le camere erano pulite, comode e ben mantenute, creando un'atmosfera molto rilassante. Il personale era amichevole, attento e sempre pronto ad aiutare, rendendo l'esperienza ancora più piacevole. Le strutture erano eccellenti e il cibo era davvero delizioso. In generale, era una combinazione perfetta di comfort e ospite consiglierei molto questo hotel a chiunque cercasse un soggiorno memorabile.

UUtente ospiteHa avuto un buon soggiorno con la famiglia a Hotel Carnation, Ooty per 3 notti. È molto vicino alla croce Charring e altre aree di mercato. Il Giardino Botanico è anche a piedi a 1KM. C'è un ristorante ”Madras Rasoi” e un camion alimentare all'hotel che serve entrambi Veg & N. Veg cibo. La stanza era molto buona e spaziale. Il geyser è lì nel bagno, quindi 24/7 acqua calda lì. Kettle è fornito per il riscaldamento dell'acqua potabile. L'ospitalità è stata grande dal suo proprietario, il signor Mariadas, una persona molto gentile.Il signor Prince, che è in ricezione, è un giovane capo, molto utile, amichevole e ben gestito. Ci siamo divertiti, ma sarò certamente tornato anche a questo hotel la prossima volta.

UUtente ospiteI servizi dell'hotel erano eccellenti al massimo. Il personale era professionale, mi ha fornito un sacco di servizi aggiuntivi senza costi aggiuntivi, le camere erano pulite. E soprattutto la posizione è assolutamente grande. Accanto al giardino botanico ho avuto delle esperienze sorprendenti. L'unico con è la dimensione della stanza è troppo piccola e lo intendo. E' così piccola se tieni il bagaglio sul pavimento non potrai camminare correttamente. Questo può essere un problema importante per molte persone
