22morrowsworldMy initial thought on this accommodation business is in some ways positive. If it is viewed purely as a 'hostel' with an associated coffee shop, then it definitely has attributes (and I'll come back to those later). But if taken at face value on the basis of its tariff cost and amenities, both real and indicated, then there are several problems with it. The first is the way the premises is represented on the Trip com platform. Photographs of the double bedroom include one of a bathroom. The attached text description and its context makes the plain implication that the room has an ensuite bathroom, which it does not. If little scrutiny is applied when reading the description, this fact will escape the readers attention. Anyone looking to make a reservation quickly can easily be misled (inadvertently?) into believing that this is a 'hotel' style room. Many hostels do offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms after all. The bathroom is communal and is inconveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are above this. A second related criticism is the room size description - 18 m sq is quoted. The room has dimensions of 3 x 3.5 m. That is, about 10 m sq ! Although late February is still peak season in Phuket, it has to be said that the room tariff of almost $60 AUD per night is exorbitant. It may be considered acceptable for a 18 m sq hotel style room, given the circumstances, but a room of this kind at this particular locality ought to be offered at a lower price. Having said this, I concede that the reservation was made late and in haste. Now onto the good things. The 10 m sq double bed room has old but high quality wooden furniture which serves its purpose well. The air conditioning is responsive and strong There is a large kitchen next to the bathroom/wash basin (trough). It's equipped with a large fridge, sink, cutlery etc as well as a coffee maker ( + ground coffee). A delicious banana cake was offered to guests. Clothes can be washed and dried via a coin operated machine. Other attributes include the woman owner/ manager who has a professional approach and an attitude very well suited to the hospitalality jndustry. The coffee shop also makes decent coffees and ham n cheese croissants.

IIvan KraljEven if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature). While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order. But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny. Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.” After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime. This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol. I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high? In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out. I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average. P.S. When a guest asks whether a ferry with a pick-up operates everywhere in Phuket, a genuinely helpful answer would be ”yes”. And not ”no, it's only our hostel's pickup”. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information.

UUtente ospiteIt's a cute hotel tugged in the local community. A walk to Karon beach was fun and not too long. We passed multiple streetfood vendors in the morning and some massage places with auntie masseuses with good sense of humor. 7-11 is nearby. When we stayed, we didn't have any problems with noises from the street nor wild guests. Mostly little kids jumping into the pool during hot afternoon and that was actually fun to hear. The staff were very friendly and attentive. 5 stars for them. The room we stayed was spotless clean. Obviously, the hotel has had recently a renovation. However, some system work needs attention beyond what the staff could handle on daily basis as our room on the first floor got some ordor from the drainage for a few minutes when the ventilation was not good like the AC was off or we just got back to the room from outside. But other than that, it was fine. The hotel asks you to put the sign requesting a room service. Without the sign up, they won't enter your room. Not a problem for us, but it took a day until we realized the notification sign on the entrance door. This is a good effort we can all participate to be a bit more suatainable on this beautiful island. One thing I would highly recommend for the hotel is to install drinking water fountain on site and some reusable bottles in the rooms. This can reduce so much garbage for the island and enough drinking water supply for the guests. Phuket is really really hot and complimentary two bottle per day lasted less than 5 minutes for us. It'd be nice to have a fountain where we could get more water during the night. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and worth the money.

UUtente ospiteCamera d'albergo eccellente, balcone, aria condizionata non direttamente sopra il letto, pressione dell'acqua nella doccia era normale, era presente acqua calda/fredda. La camera aveva una cassaforte, un frigorifero, un armadio, un mucchio di grucce e ganci sul muro e biancheria da letto pulita. L'acqua potabile non è in bottiglia e viene fornita in caraffa. Nella zona comune c'è un piccolo ufficio dove poter lavorare al computer, una cucina in comune (senza fornelli) e un forno a microonde. Reception 24 ore su 24. La posizione dell'hotel non è in prima o seconda linea, all'interno del vicolo dove vivono i locali, se siete in bicicletta la posizione non è un problema. Le finestre delle stanze al 2° piano possono affacciarsi sulle pareti di un edificio vicino; nella mia stanza 305A al 3° piano, le finestre davano sui tetti degli edifici vicini si vedeva in lontananza una montagna. C'è una moschea nelle vicinanze, dalle 05:00 iniziano a leggere le preghiere ad alta voce.

CCharltonFirstly, I'd like to say I was a complete dud because I managed to get my wallet into my bag with my underwear, and I assumed the worst. Nonetheless, I approached the staff on duty and they helped me search the room again and without panic or pressure they were exceptionally helpful. The staff were wonderful, unfortunately there isn't much information provided for things to do and see. The rating for the cleanliness is based on two factors. One, the shower drain was a bit clogged with old hair, and the shower head mounting was loose and nearly fell off. Cleanliness in this part also just refers to the rooms needing a bit of maintenance upkeep. Although, a major problem was the AC. It is super dirty and dusty. I had to refrain myself from using it, because i know how ACs can hold germs and dust in if they are not cleaned out every 6 months. Especially, when it's in an establishment where different people are coming in and out frequently. So not using the AC I was left dripping in sweat for most of the night. As for the room, aside from the AC, it was nice. The bed was comfortable for me. The selection of TV in case you feel like just chilling before sleeping was also nice. Netflix, YouTube, and local TV. The accommodation is in a great location, near to the Sunday market, and near cafes and bars. There is one drawback of staying in this location, and that is the fact that the room is not soundproof and all late night activities come through into the room. Ear plugs recommended. Overall, it was a good stay for a fair budget experience. I'd stay here again if I'm just looking for a place to lay my head down for a day or two, but long stays will be questionable until they ensure the ACs are frequently cleaned out. Photos mostly match what's on the profile already.

PPoommin NamvongsSituato accanto al mercato, non sono riuscito a dormire perché il rumore del vento che batteva contro i vetri era forte tutta la notte. E c'è anche un forte rumore di persone birmane intorno al mercato (il mercato accanto è pieno di persone birmane). Non c'è ascensore qui, il WiFi è quasi inutile, sono rimasto 4 notti, non era utilizzabile al 5° piano. Se hai un lavoro o una riunione che richiede il Wi-Fi, potresti aver bisogno di utilizzarlo privatamente. La stanza non è ben illuminata per lavorare, le luci sono fioche e non luminose. I servizi di base sono gli stessi di qualsiasi altro hotel, c'è acqua potabile, shampoo, gel doccia e un bollitore per l'acqua calda. La chiave della stanza è molto difficile da aprire e chiudere.

SServikuCercherò di essere oggettivo. Ho scelto un hotel due giorni prima dell'arrivo, quindi era limitato in scelta, ma volevo arrivare a questa spiaggia. Era molto piccolo prima, ora la situazione si è certamente cambiata. E poi, fate più: - Vicino alla spiaggia (dalla stanza - colpito la spiaggia stupenda e il mare magnifico. - In generale, un bel posto nonostante il crescente turbo in questo luogo. Andando a sinistra si può arrivare all'isola pittoresca, a destra-a-do-screenshot foto contro il fondo degli aerei atterrenti. - Ci sono numerosi negozi e caffè per qualsiasi gusto e portafoglio, così come il mercato notturno. ”Rispetto a Patong, ci sono poche persone, raccomandate per le famiglie con bambini. Il minus (lo noterò subito che ero in una stanza, così nella foto generale in altre stanza può essere un'altra: - Quando l'hotel scrive che c'è una finestra nella stanza, si farà cadere ... sarebbe meglio non affatto, perché apre 30 centimetri sulle scale, e su un pezzo di fanghi sporchi, e la notte c'è una sorta di disassemblaggio della popolazione locale con un pianto di sopravvivenza)Dorme così, naturalmente ..... -è in corso di riparazione nelle camere vicine, attraversare e saltare attraverso un gruppo di materiali da costruzione e le sporche pavimenti non sono molto confortevoli -Lingerie e mobili uccisi ....n hanno rispetto per gli ospiti, almeno per questo prezzo cambiano i bianchi ..... -Porta di ingresso in vetro .....Me, uomo sano, in grande conto probabilmente non così spaventoso, le ragazze possono essere incomode ..... -il doccia è mal lasciato, l'intero piano è gettato sul collo e vicino al bagno e vicino alla lavatrice .... - l'udienza è solo irreale .... come se in una stanza con i vicini ..... -In generale, è sporco e impuro, si attraversa il corridoio, e tutto è disperso, non curato, ecc. .... Le ragazze con il respiratore hanno provato, ma qui c'è qualche negativo dopo la residenza. Forse dopo la riparazione sarà meglio.

EElenaKeyC'è tutto di nuovo in hotel 😍 Nuovi mobili, biancheria, aria condizionata e asciugamani, ecc. Ed è fantastico! Il personale è molto cordiale e offre un buon servizio. Dall'hotel alla spiaggia sono solo due minuti a piedi 😃 Bella grande piscina e area con ponti, palme e fiori. I letti sono magici, molto confortevoli. La camera è dotata di frigorifero, bollitore, acqua, caffè, asciugacapelli, grande smart TV. Bel balcone comodo. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel.

LLiliyaОтель Tina очень зашёл ребенку. Ещё бы бассейн прямиком во дворе. Классно. Водичка освежиться в самый раз. Мы жили на 2м этаже, что тоже плюс на 1м, где бассейн показалось, что в номерах не так неуютно - мало света. Были 2 ночи, номер у нас был хороший. Было комфортно очень, что большой холодильник. Немного огорчило отсутствие горячей воды, но в + 32 это не очень печально.
