UUtente ospitePer partecipare al Phuket Marathon, è necessario riposo e preparazione sufficiente prima della gara.Lo spazio spazioso della stanza mi permette di estendermi e fare semplici stretteggi. Il dipartimento frontale cinese ha spiegato in dettaglio la rotta e il trasporto al punto di partenza. Il desk front 24-hour mi ha fatto preoccupare quando sono uscito presto la mattina, e quando sono tornato esaurito dopo il gioco, ho potuto immediatamente memorizzare e scambiare i miei vestiti e godere facilmente il massaggio di recupero. È raro trovare un hotel considerato come atleti.

LLaura TotzkeHo apprezzato molto il soggiorno qui, la camera era pulita e esattamente come nelle foto. Il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi problema. Ci hanno organizzato il noleggio di una moto e alla reception si potevano anche prendere gli asciugamani da spiaggia, il che è stato molto utile. Abbastanza vicino alla strada principale e a 10 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia.

22morrowsworldMy initial thought on this accommodation business is in some ways positive. If it is viewed purely as a 'hostel' with an associated coffee shop, then it definitely has attributes (and I'll come back to those later).
But if taken at face value on the basis of its tariff cost and amenities, both real and indicated, then there are several problems with it. The first is the way the premises is represented on the Trip com platform.
Photographs of the double bedroom include one of a bathroom. The attached text description and its context makes the plain implication that the room has an ensuite bathroom, which it does not. If little scrutiny is applied when reading the description, this fact will escape the readers attention. Anyone looking to make a reservation quickly can easily be misled (inadvertently?) into believing that this is a 'hotel' style room. Many hostels do offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms after all. The bathroom is communal and is inconveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are above this.
A second related criticism is the room size description - 18 m sq is quoted. The room has dimensions of 3 x 3.5 m. That is, about 10 m sq !
Although late February is still peak season in Phuket, it has to be said that the room tariff of almost $60 AUD per night is exorbitant. It may be considered acceptable for a 18 m sq hotel style room, given the circumstances, but a room of this kind at this particular locality ought to be offered at a lower price. Having said this, I concede that the reservation was made late and in haste.
Now onto the good things. The 10 m sq double bed room has old but high quality wooden furniture which serves its purpose well. The air conditioning is responsive and strong
There is a large kitchen next to the bathroom/wash basin (trough). It's equipped with a large fridge, sink, cutlery etc as well as a coffee maker ( + ground coffee). A delicious banana cake was offered to guests. Clothes can be washed and dried via a coin operated machine.
Other attributes include the woman owner/ manager who has a professional approach and an attitude very well suited to the hospitalality jndustry. The coffee shop also makes decent coffees and ham n cheese croissants.

IIvan KraljEven if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature).
While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order.
But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny.
Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.”
After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime.
This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol.
I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high?
In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out.
I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average.
P.S. When a guest asks whether a ferry with a pick-up operates everywhere in Phuket, a genuinely helpful answer would be ”yes”. And not ”no, it's only our hostel's pickup”. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information.

IIvan KraljLa matrice era comoda, ma purtroppo i letti superiori medi non sono il posto migliore per mettere persone alti (come inevitabilmente colpiranno le lamiere con la testa). Inoltre, il socket elettrico nel mio letto non era abbastanza forte da tenere un caricatore in posizione, quindi ho dovuto improvvisare con un sacchetto e una capsula come base, così non sarebbe stato seguito.
L'AC nelle stanze è spento tra le 11:30 e le 16:30, FYI.
In termini di altre strutture, tutto il resto sembrava abbastanza spazioso, in realtà così spazioso che penso che l'architetto avrebbe potuto mettere i bagni aggiuntivi, perché due non sembravano sufficienti per il primo piano (30 persone?). C'erano tre urine, più incredibili, vicino alle porte sempre aperte, e le acque usate da tutti (il bagno è unisex), che avrebbe fatto bene a liberarsi di queste, e piuttosto a avere un altro bagno.
Per quanto riguarda i doccia, ci sono tre. La pressione dell'acqua era buona, anche se era difficile ottenere acqua veramente calda/ calda. Il gel di doccia/shampoo disponibile, così come i ganci necessari per appendere le vostre cose.
Il colazione era un semplice uovo scrambleto con un taglio di tosta e burro, salate di cavolo con mayonnaise e un salsaggio economico. Bene per iniziare un giorno, ma non così soddisfacente. Caffè e tè disponibile a colazione, acqua tutto il giorno. Puoi anche usare la cucina per preparare il tuo pranzo o cena.
Nel lobby e fuori, un paio di aree da impiccare e raffreddare. Se volevi giocare a piscina, sono 20 baht. Giochi da tavolo erano gratis.
Il piano superiore ha lavastoviglie (50 baht per carico) e un asciugacapelli (10 per 5 min), ma penso che dovreste passare un po' di tempo li ricarichendo le monete. Dopo due giri che non erano molto secche, ho messo il mio lavandino in un posto di pendenza limitato, ma fate attenzione, perché può essere ventoso, e molti vestiti volavano intorno.
Il personale è accessibile e ospite, anche se il loro livello di base di inglese può portare a un po 'di malintesi, come ho visto.

TTW2024Staff look a bit shy and quiet. Booked a Family Room with 3 beds and got room 6 on 2nd floor next to the stairs. Direct beach and restaurant are at the back of the resort. At night they and resorts nearby have dinner tables so the beach is lit and lively. Early in the morning they don’t set up yet so it’s very good to walk, run and exercise there. They’re having a renovation. Room 6 had very strong paint smell. Water faucets are usable so they don’t change yet. Hose spray for toilet is on the right and you will twist your body to hang it on the left. Coffee making table, clothes cabinet and safe box are inside the bathroom with walls to separate. Drain hole is near the wall of the toilet so when we shower, the toilet room is wet too. Wall mount shower gel and shampoo. Bring your tooth brush set as most places in Thailand don’t give. Water drains slow a bit but not clogged. Other rooms on ground floor are being renovated also. It’s a small resort in the shape of a town house and they have a small lane to walk to the beach. Next to that lane are 3 or 4 guest rooms on ground floor. If you need the best room, it’s on 2nd floor at the end and you have 2 large beds, a separate large room with microwave, table with 4 chairs at the balcony overlooking the beach. Other guests can walk to this balcony too. View is the sea and the roof of the beach front restaurant. Room 6 has a table & 2 chairs outside the room so when you smoke and eat, expect to see other guests walking pass. Tops convenience store is on the other side of the street. Many shops, restaurants and food stalls on this street.
The resort is at the end of this small beach town & next to the National Park. Walking about 30 minutes towards the park direction, we saw a tiny coral islet and we crossed the coral underwater way from main beach to that islet. Wear aqua shoes as it’s impossible to walk with bare feet. Water level is around waist line. The main beach has a ***** of sand running towards that tiny islet and the other side has high sand. Very beautiful sunset. If you want to do that, go before 4pm because when it’s dark (after 6pm, mid October), there is almost no light in that zone and water starts to raise higher which means it’s more difficult to walk back from the tiny islet. The walk is short with strong waves. Water is warm.

UUtente ospiteThe check in was quick and easy. Unfortunately the staff didn’t let me know about check out or about any facilities also not where to find the washrooms. The bed was comfortable and the size of the storage for my smaller bag was good. The facilities were overall okay. Big negative Point is that the Wifi didn’t work in the room.

CCecibunzQuesta casa di ospiti superava le mie aspettative, e io l’ho giudicata prematuramente per il prezzo, ma la mia stanza era molto grande, era pulita e sembrava davvero bella. Ho anche una TV che ho usato, una caldaia per fare il caffè, un ferro per premere i miei vestiti e un minibar frigo. La mia stanza aveva anche un balcone. La posizione è perfetta. A circa 8 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia (non usare la strada principale se cammini, è pericoloso senza passeggiate laterali e più avanti. Usa le strade posteriori). Ci sono bar, ristoranti, uffici di cambio, rotomi, ATM e spa ovunque si guarda. Se avessi saputo quanto mi piacerebbe questo posto, avrei soggiornato molto più a lungo. Infine, se non guidate o usate una moto, non vi preoccupate, Grab e Bolt funzionano molto bene qui. Ho usato Grab per andare a destinazioni lontane, ma poi ho spostato a Bolt perché i loro prezzi sono quasi 1/3 dei prezzi Grabs. Cons: È un po'suono di notte (a causa dei bar e della vita notturna), ma non così male che non si può dormire. Inoltre, non c'è ascensore, quindi devi usare le scale (per me era bene perché mangiavo ALOT, quindi mi servivano le scale, ma so che alcune persone non lo vogliono e probabilmente dovrei chiedere di avere una stanza al secondo piano quando prenoto. In generale, questo è un grande posto per rimanere per chiunque di qualsiasi età, soprattutto considerando il prezzo. Se ritorno in Thailandia, rimarrò certamente a Sure.

Мы жили на 2м этаже, что тоже плюс на 1м, где бассейн показалось, что в номерах не так неуютно - мало света. Были 2 ночи, номер у нас был хороший. Было комфортно очень, что большой холодильник. Немного огорчило отсутствие горячей воды, но в + 32 это не очень печально.
